i remembered one of myself and a RL friend. we both played tibia for a couple of months untill we discovered runescape... when we first started we had a lot of noob moments :P already posted one (attacking woman(lvl3) and thinking it was PVP at lumbridge) but there are 2 more i remember, one is a pretty comon one: my friend got a bronze med helm of a male (lvl3) and i said he was extremely lucky and started killing man (lvl3) to... but the next one is not that comon :) remember, we played tibia first, in that game u could stash bags in bags in bags into infinite (as long as u could carry the "weight") so we wanted 2 know how that worked in RS, we saw the equip screen and noticed a "bag spot" or so we thought... we killed goblins, cows, and loads of male and female npc's hoping for a "bag" untill we asked a "high-lvled" (lvl60 or so...) about what monster would be best 2 kill for a bag... he asked what we ment, so we explained. he told us there was no such thing in RS... lots of wasted time... heres an added picture of the bag in tibia:

well, neither of the things u 2 say i understand, so maybe tell it in normal english :

i really like reading fantasy and that kind of stuff, my favorites include: harry potter (what else) artemis fowl, eragon (and the later books) and alot ALOT more. i really re-read alot also.

I'm pretty sure you can't... but I'm not 100% sure, unless they changed it? You cannot. There is a specific list of items you can lend. It is on the knowledge base. Items not on that list cannot be lent (that's pretty much weapons below rune and armor below barrows with a few other miscellaneous objects or exceptions such as rares). But he brings up a good point, RWT has potential this way. You just one guy to lend an item and the other guy to accept and money gets through very easy. You'd do more harm by adding price roofs and floors than good. Why couldn't they do that anyway? O wait, the trade limit. thing is, our main PC broke down, so now we're using an netbook (EE PC from asus) so it cannot handle that much, im loading an high detail screenie now, so that u can compare :P

comp im playing on ATM has a 22inch, but is 2 slow for high-detail (big version) so, i had to use the small version. that doesnt look good... !warning! VERY big screenie! :ohnoes: [hide=screenie][/hide]

i was playing with a IRL friend, just came out of the tutorial island and walking around lumbridge. we both played tibia for some time before that, and there you already attack someone if you click on them, making miss-clicks pretty often and pretty anoying. (same skull system) the warning "in the mainland it is possible for players to attack and kill eachother" (or something like that) just popped up and we didnt thought much of it, until we came in the lumbridge church looking for a bank. we saw the lvl.3 woman there and wanted to walk up to here and ask something like "were is the nearest bank?" couse we wanted to deposit all the stuff we had for safety. well, you probably guessed, we clicked ON her instead NEAR here and attacked her. we thought it was another player and started to run away like in tibia shouting "sorry! misclick!!!" of course, we realised later that it was an NPC... or, that when that friend of mine just had his account made, he killed some lvl.3 men up a house in draynor. he got a bronze med. helm and he was really happy, and i was jealous :P good ol' days... edit: just realised that i was really happy with my full rune... killed cows and collected hides for over a week, got 230k for it (30k speed bonus... SPEED?! WTF thats SLOW!!!) for all those hides :P after that, i never took it off, i still have the rune platebody and rune kite :P

Says the man with a render in almost all of his sigs... :lol: To the OP: I like the idea. It's much easier on the eyes than the average fake we see here (almost none of which are 50% of the artist's work). A few things that could make it even better: - Shrink the castle and make it much taller. I'd also flip the eye 90 degrees. - Add some mood to the scene with adjustment layers and a perhaps a subtle blur effect. Here's a rough example of what I mean: (maybe not so heavy on the effects, though!) [hide=][/hide] - Change the sky to make it look more spooky. You can do this with other stocks, if you want. - Change the Runescape logo to something LOTR-based! :) Here are some references for the environment and how it may look: [hide=] [/hide] thx for the tips. il try them out after schoolbreak (don't have photoshop of my own >.<) and for the eye, i really did alot in that, it wasnt quite what i wanted so i brushed alot, there whas text in the original picture trough some of the flames. i really did my best on it, and im really a beginner so alot better than this in a short period of time won't do. so, yes i did copy-paste alot, but im trying to use the techniques i know now so that i can understand how to use it later.

i've finished my new project, its alot better than the last one! rate/hate. if you have any comments please tell me how i can improve myself! im already onto a new project, but the thing is that i know nothing about photoshop, at least not more than i already used for this project. i can see myself that it blows (seriously, im not a total [developmentally delayed] or anything) but let me ask you all this: how did your first photoshop look like? total crap? or completely awesome?

thx for the tip, il remember it. can someone please move it there? and i couldnt get the 100 splat good anymore, already made 1 layer of it (just like my char is a litle bit to far to the upper left corner) and the main picture came from youtube so that explains it i think, my char just comes from high-detail in-game. and i never ever have dared to go into the god wars dungeons, let alone fight those bosses :P

im not sure if this is the right place to post this but it's the best i could find (didnt search really intensively, but...) i photoshopped myself in a picture hitting 100 on 1 of those god bosses. please take into account that this is my first ever photoshop :P rate please 1/10

can i do barrows with these stats? and if so, can you tell me what i should wear

as for a skill, i'd say agility, since without that you could teleport alot, but its still a rough destination, somewhere like ape atoll would be a pretty long journey without a nice AG lvl, and monkey madness and other quests were you have to run alot would be alot tougher and longer. for items i agree with food and healing things, just becouse alot of skills depend on it. without it, no high lvl. monsters, no fishing, cooking, agility would be hard to train, magic would only be training fast trough non-combat training or safe spots (wich would get crowded real fast) and ranged/magic would get popular instead of melee since they can use safe spots.

don't do lobbys at 40 fishing, takes forever to catch 1, try at 50 altough its slow exp. even then >.

what i did was train to 40 at barb. course, then used the AG arena to lvl up further, is in my opinion the fastest way, just stay clear of the darts, they lower ur AG lvl for some time :wall:

de master444 we met some day (like we didnt :roll: ) and after some time, we went moneymaking trough that double nats company :P we did that until we had whip, then we went killing the giant mole :mrgreen: we also did a quest together (maybe more, can't really remember :oops:) but fact is, i consider him my best RS friend :)

both, since that makes everybody happy, and if u can't find the monster on the list, u can click it on at the map, if u can't find the dots, u click it in the list. all possible bugs can be prevented by using both methods since players can simply bypass the list or the map =D>
