Doubt it, i live in canada, and we have as much as you guys, and we deffinitly dont get snow days for this. But if you go out, and pour water on the roads and make it black ice, then perhaps youll get your snow day :wink:

I dont have a problem at all, because either i can read it, or i just ignore it. I do take some time though to acutly make out the words.

Obviously there is a way if there are autoers. Those autoers must access the files from jagex, and then do stuff to the program and code to be able to affect the character. The main script is mostlikely hard to hack, but the characters mostlikly not since thats being accesed all the time.

I agree. Restricting alternate languages to servers would limit their growth capacity... they'd have much more flexibility coding it to a new client or hardcoding it into game options. I'm not a programmer, so don't flame me... I'm guessing that the code regarding all game text (as it stands presently in English) would have to be reworked to a standard for all languages that the client would then handle. In other words, I'm thinking that the text (in English) isn't set up to be controlled by a client. I'm looking forward to seeing RS in Spanish... I am American, but I do speak Spanish. Since they are expanding into other languages, they might be able to rework the censor so that legitimate text is kept and cussing (in the other languages) is censored. I was at the Fishing Guild the other day and someone started cussing in Spanish... and listed just about all the Mexican Spanish swear words I knew of. I was also told by a friend here that the censor currently censors parts of text in Swedish (apparently since the censor handles text strings in English only). The website link reminded me how bad webpages used to look when I first started accessing the World Wide Web with Mosaic and Netscape back in 1994. I'm guessing that Andrew is close to my age. Im just starting into programing, and even though waht i use is way diffrent to even java, it still follows slightly the same path. It woudl be very hard to make an in game option. Youd have to rework everything into the code, and make translations for everything. It would be much easier to make diffrent servers.

But just because something annoys one person, and its just annoyance, more then harasment or other such worse thing, it shouldnt mean a mod locks it. I dislike 1337 speak very much. Alot of people use translators, and change their msn names into it, and its annoys the hell out of me. But oh well, cant do anything. although, as for being LEET, hehe i use the word all the time to describe things, the same with UBER.

Ok, i say dont worry about your english and your science, as those are both good marks still. But ya, math probably not. Just work hard at it. Study it. I dont like math all that much eaither, i find it boring. But as long as you can get all the rules down, then youll do fine. As for your parents, let them know. Perhaps ask them for help, and get them to do something. If they come down too hard, you cna always black mail saying that its their fault for not pay enough attention :twisted:

Cant even go on the website cause i dont have certain types of operation systems :? I definitly think that that automaticly makes it worse, if it cant allow everyone. Also i dont like just fighting games, so i think runescape is much better.

Im quite happy, this is very easy stuff to me. The teacher gave us a program to make today, of course very simple, only making text appear in some labels (he tought us today, but i knew this on tuesday), and was finnished in less then 5 minutes, woot! Oh and thx for the link, ill cheack it out. edit, thx for the link, unfortuantly i have windows 98, so i cant use it :cry:

MMMMMHHMMMM toast! I love to just have 1 slice of toast for a snack most of the time. I just pop it into the toaster and leave it for a few seconds.... because i dont like the brown type! just lightly toasted, so that its just a little crispy, but still flaky inside! mhhhhm

Thanks alot man. I found some basic coding on the site, and got to it. I then branched off on my own and did some small stuff without the need of codes being given to me. Its acutle easy stuff!

:cry: Nope non, but we are supposed to spend a few days inthe labe, fifteen minutes a day working on a title page for our note books this week. I find it too easay to make title pages, so am gonna make it tonight, and that way i get fifteen minutes of free time each day to fool around with the program. But what im trying to say, is i dont know how to do anything, except use the visual object. I have no idea how to even get them to do anything, and thats what i want to know how to do fast.

nah, im more of a software kinda guy.

Plz learn to read BTW the school does offer courses in C++ and Java, but they are for higher up, and i have to take this class first to take the others.
