Bad servers are bad. I got to play last night (Lol the queue was only 46 at the time) and it was pretty good. It took me a long time time to start getting frags though, cause the game is so fast paced.

I avoid the topics because there is no reason to single any race out. We are all human, lets treat each other as such. (And talking about countries != talking races).

Once you play one fighting game, don't you really play them all? Except for going to 3D, I've never really seen new mechanics in a game that warrants it a 'new game' other then characters or moves.

I finally did a heroic. I was aiming for AN, but a group for Gundrak took me. We didn't wipe with me tanking (although the warrior and rogue died a few times cause they were over dpsing), and we had a problem with the fish, but it went very well. So some of my friends are gonna start playing, and since I am too lazy to level, I rolled DK on their server. I think if they really get into it, and we all work to 80, we have a good instancing team (start to raids), and maybe even a good 5v5 team? deathknight(me)=tank Paladin=dps? (we really don't know, but he is lve 78 and wants to be remain ret beyond anything) Mage=dps Druid=heals ???=dps (Honestly, at this point any class can fill this slot and it works for dps)

[hide=] [/hide] I think you misunderstand me. My main point wasn't about this game being okay because it has rape, but that we are putting violence and death at a lower level then rape. Although I can understand people's large negative feelings toward someone who has raped another, why don't we feel the same about mass murderers (And exclude anything to do with War, because that is different). My whole point was that violent video games (And I don't even count GTA4 as violent) are still there simply to fulfil our lust for violence, much like sports. The reason I don't see GTA4 as violent (Baring I have never played it) is because if it is like the older games, if you shoot down a regular joe on the street, they never actually die. In other games I have played, ambulance drivers just come by and put them in, or in the originals, just revive them there. And all the time, you always get 'wasted', not killed. A violent video game is kinda like.... House of the dead, halo (on multiplayer), ect ect. Games or portions of games where there is no other objective but to gain or loose land by means of killing. Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't want to play that rape game, but I am just making a point about how it is not okay to rape someone, but it is perfectly fine to murder someone, at least virtually.

Wait wait wait. So much hypocrisy in this subject. I in no way condone what this game is about, nor would I ever play this game, but man you are making very odd statements. When the first shooter games came out, and people saw pixels that were blood, people were horrified, and were all 'wtf?!!?!? this is so violent!' The fact is, you are all correct in that over time we have gotten desensitized to violence, there is no doubt about it, but when you start saying 'killing games are morally okay, while a game with rape is not morally okay', there are some questions about our culture. Why is it that the taking of a life is deemed less 'sick and twisted' compared to say 'raping a young girl'? They are pretty both damn wrong and twisted, at least thats what I think. And I'm pretty sure if you compare the sentence a person would receive in court for murder, and the one for pedophilia, you would find them very identical (And if anything, the murderer would get it worse). This is much like the case where one of the earlier FPS came out, and you had to kill dogs, people were up in arms (not even groups that were animal activists) about killing an animal over killing a human. Should they both be bad? As for the statement about the rape game being used for sexual pleasure, while a game where you blow people's heads off is just 'entertainment'. I have news for you all: Violent video games are meant to fulfil our desire for violence. The same goes with sports. Both are nothing more then substitutes for the real deal (war, violence, being aggressive), much like watching porn and some other things are nothing more then substitutes for sex. Anyone that would know anything about psychology would know about the id, the ego, and the super ego. Our id constantly gives us our lust for our two main desires: sex and violence. The ego is the part of our mind that knows we cannot just go crazy and fulfil our lust for sex and violence through any means. The super ego is the moderator between the two, and allows us to fulfil the id, while fulfilling the ego. TL;DR: Violent video games are just as bad as games about rape. It's our cultural difference, and less need for sexual fulfilment that makes us not need something like that kind of game.

This won't work, you can just buy prepaid cards with stolen credit cards..... It would work. If you buy prepaid cards from the store, all the cards area already paid for, and it is just the person buying and giving the money to the store, so the fraud is the stores issue, not jagex's. And in many cases, it is harder to use a stolen credit card in person then it is over the net.

I didn't do the love is in the air simply because I found it kinda stupid, and too random. I did the lunar festival (but was too lazy to finish the azeroth, northrend and dungeon elders), most cause the extra horde rep was good.

They were necessary though. They had to be made so that people playing the DS generation of pokemon games could get the original pokemon. And why create a whole brand new game when you can use the original and tweak it. I like most remakes, they area good way to re-experience games on newer systems while (for the most part) getting to play through new content.

Nah, he will say crono trigger. I would have to say FFVI, as well as Morrowind. Sure the game mechanics were improved in later Elder scroll games, but the atmosphere was amazing, and the fact that there was so much to explore in a game (which was new to me), led to hours upon hours of entertainment.

:shock: This thread scares me. Why is everyone so quick to just break down to primitive instincts (such as needing weapons). I would just simply get a group of people and head for the centre of North America, where we really wouldn't be affected by rising sea levels, and then just try to make it alive.

It should be a gold sink, i expect 2x the average respec price and that is being leniant. Why should it be a gold sink? Most people I hear in game are struggling as it is to sell stuff or make the price (at 80) for their epic flying mount. Why should something that could help end the finding a healer/tank problem, be such a hefty price?

It was discussed on the forum (Obvi no blue response on it though). Most people are fearing that it will be a money sink, which I must admit I am fearing a bit.... up to about 500g isn't too bad. Anything over that, and it's just a ridicules grind fest for such a feature. BTW, did my first raid ever last night. Pity that it was Pre-BC. I was the main tank for BWL. Pretty sweet, and I must say very fun. I liked how the guild leader yelled at all the DPS when we wiped on a boss simply cause they over DPS/aggroed and pulled one of the dragon bosses over to the whole group, yet I was scott free ^.^ I can't wait for Duel specs, then I can start to work on a healing set as well!
