  1. 1) What is your herby level? b. 38-62 54 at the moment, though when I looked, I'm so close to 55, I wonder why I'm not. 2) Do you use the market (in general) to raise herblore? e. I don't use the market at all. I very rarely use the market. I'm much to cheap to buy things I can get myself. I've got more potions than I could ever use, but I don't have a good enough grasp on prices to bother with selling them. Every once in a while, I'll sell off a few prayer potions, but, like I said, it's rare. 3) If you use the market, do you focus on profits (reducing costs) or quick trades to level up faster? N/A 4) If you don't use the market, do you use the chaos druids to train with or some other method? b. No (please specify what you do) For herbs, I farm. Unlike most players, I don't really mind farming, and I can grow herbs up to snapdragon, which I can't even use yet. I don't buy the seeds, either. I pickpocket them or get them as drops. For second ingredients, I gather what I need. Sometimes I'll go on gathering "trips," but mostly, I just do it gradually. If I see a unicorn, I kill it. If I see red spider eggs, I pick them up. It's worked for me so far. 5) If you use the chaos druids, where do you fight them? b. Blood Tower outside ardougne On the rare occasions I do fight chaos druids, I use the tower. 6) If you use the Agility dungeon, do you use theiving to access them quickly? N/A 7) Do you have the ability to kill Salarin the Twisted (67 agility or 64 agility with potion)? b. No 8) Do you think killing Salarin and using the herbs gives good cash? N/A 9) BIG QUESTION: Do you, if you kill chaos druids, set a limit of what herbs you keep? c. Yes, I keep harrlander and up. I 've just started making myself leave the lower level herbs. It's hard for a miser such as myself, but I've got 100's of each in the bank, and I'm not even using them anymore. For now, I'm keeping harrlander, but if a better drop comes along (by anything, not just chaos druids,) it's the first thing I'll drop Excellent poll here. It's very interesting to find out how other people train. =D>
  2. 100% herblore. Although, before I became a member, I used it on prayer. :D
  3. If you go onto Tip.it's site, under Mini Games: Barrows, there's a terrific guide. Even pictures and suggestions of what you should take. :) http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=barro ... #equipment
  4. Did you raise your level? I was there this morning to make 100 house teleport tablets, repair broken armour I've picked up, and get rid of the bones (and some marrentill, too!) in my bank at your altar. :-w (I raised a prayer level while I was at it, too!) Thanks for the use of your house! 8-)
  5. From fishing, I've gotten gems and half keys...the things you normally get when you fish caskets.
  6. I bought my d long from the store for 100K (+diamond) and my d b-axe from a player for 150k. I always used the long, but then someone in a bank offered 150K for it, and I couldn't say no. That forced me to start using the b-axe, and I realized how much I like it. 8-) It's slower, but I think you'll find you like it better.
  7. Level 87--just the other day while picking whiteberries. \ I got the mask. :D
  8. If you have more than one account, they are not allowed to interact in ANY way...the whole "supplied by my main..." is totally against the rules. [-X
  9. Shilo Village where the river is only steps away from the bank.
  10. When I had to make mist runes for a quest, I went to the wizards south of Falador, north of Port Siram. I killed the air and water wizards as they spawned, and eventually got an air talisman.
  11. ...except he can teleport himself to the other side of the fence. I can't remember how I killed him, but I do remember that I used protect from melee. His range attacks will (if I recall correctly) either hit you 5-5 or 0-0, but his melee attacks are a lot stronger than that.
  12. I died four times against this over-powered maniac. I just killed him this morning on my 12th or so try. (87 combat now...I was probably only 75 or so when I started trying...) I am 100% absolutely certain that NONE of the protection spells work. Even if you protect from missiles, the axes thrown at you will still hit. If you protect from mage, his spells will still hit you, and if you protect from melee, the things he enchants to attack you with will still hit. Initially the guide recommened using prayer, but myself and a few other players pointed out that they don't work. It seems the guide was updated in the one place, but not the other. Bring very high level food, (I used tuna/corn potatoes) and try to kill him with magic so you don't have to run right up to him every time he moves. (I used ddp special twice, then fire blast the rest of the time. In the past, I tried Iban blast and other bolts, but always had to teleport away before I could do a lot of damage to him.) Also, bring ectophial for quick get away, wear a ring of life just in case, and be careful never to stand on the tracks because the carts will run you over and cause lots of damage. Best of luck! ::Skips off to see if my name is in the "Thanks for the updates..." part of the guide::
  13. I want to check if mahogonies are actually also in all of these, though. And we're still looking for planks  I can verify that there is one mahagony tree on the Ape Atoll...it's north of the teak trees, just before the path that leads to the gate of the city. There are also two plank spawns in Port Khazard near one of the general stores...I'm fairly certain they're new as I don't recall seeing them there last weekend.
  14. I don't think you'll need 100 lockpicks, to be honest. If you've got the theiving level, you can pick pocket them from the bandits right there, rather than running back to the bank to get more when you run out. (You can also get anti-poison potions from them.) Also, the stuff you need for the vampire guy...the garlic and spice that goes in the blessed pot? I think that's all, but double check. Get a few of each in case you can't kill him on the first run, and have to go back. The ice guy was the only guy that I was able to kill in one run. I figure you can do it...if you have enough prayer pots; you can do pretty much anything. Good luck!
  15. My apologies if this has already been posted, but, after the quest, selling your burnt monkfish to the general store is minutely profitable. I was just dropping them, but when I burned 6 in one load, I figured it would be faster to sell them. There were already 50+ burnt fish in stock, but after the transaction was done, I had 150-odd coins in my bag. (I know, chump-change to most of you, but as I've only just passed the 400K mark, I'm thinking of the bigger picture, and what the "change" adds up to.) I know it isn't much, but it saves a little time, and gets a handful of gp.
  16. Why beg? Kill a few men to have some gp's to buy a bronze axe. That actually happened to me when I first started...I forgot about stuff I had in the bank...couldn't find that bank, either. That's how I got back in play.
  17. You get 4 teleports out of a glory amulet...I don't recall seeing any for 75K recently; more like 80-80K, but sometimes I don't pay attention in the bank, so that could be wrong. 8)
  18. I got my first few lvl 3's from Greater demons...however, most lvl 3 clues will lead you into the Wilderness at least once or twice.
  19. I was in Al Kharid when I logged in after becoming a member. (3-4 months ago?) I was trying to decide what to do and where to go, and I clicked on a "man" and attached him. He dropped an herb, which I thought was cool, but I soon discovered I could do nothing with it until I did that quest...so I set off to Taverly and did that. :) (I spent a lot of time pickpocketing men for 3gp, too...it was great not to see that "You must be on a members server..." message. )
  20. :? I've actually gotten several Evil Chickens smelting steel bars in Al Kharid. While random events ARE actually random, it seems they come more frequently while doing something very repetitive for a very long time. I raised my raning shooting bronze arrows at the Jogre guy in Ardy zoo...from 33 to 40. I got 2 frogs, at least 3 evil chickens, a couple genies and a drunken dwarf. It was hilarious.
  21. I've died three times during that quest. I don't think I'll ever finish it. The first time I died, if anyone got my stuff, it was every one of every rune I had at the time minus 1. I NEVER made that mistake again.
  22. Hans is the guy in red outside the Lumbridge Castle. Hope you get something good.
  23. It's definitely random. I must have killed 100+ Ice Warriors one afternoon, hoping for a level two clue scroll...when I finally gave up and was leaving, I accidently clicked on a mugger, and got a level one scroll from him.
  24. Are you doing the Demon Slayer quest? To get that key, you have to use a bucket of water with the drain to make it fall into the sewer. Then, go down the manhole to find the key. :) On a side note, I think people representing Tip.it should be a little more friendly and helpful, rather that sarcastically commenting "Wrong Board" on every other post. :( There are nicer ways to get the message across to anyone, let alone someone with only two posts.
  25. Freaky Forrester: Fighting zombies in the Varrock Sewers Quizmaster: Cutting Willows in Draynor. I havent' gotten any of the "cool" ones.
