  1. 500? omg... what can we do then... appeal to all the help sites to help advertise this food?
  2. i have 119 atm ill be making more if theres a market for it... othwise ill go pk-ing/deathmatching/dueling with it
  3. you got that reversed... if they are willing to buy them for a high enough price (4k a piece is very reasonable) the steady supply will come...
  4. both clans should disband! omgwtfwhocaresisurelydont
  5. looking for the ranges (in squares) of these: -magic spells -shortbow on rapid/accurate -longbow on rapid/accurate -shortbow on longrange -longbow on long range would be great if you also know how its done diagonally :)
  6. yes you were... can we get back on topic and figure out how to let all of runescape know that theres now food out there thats better then sharks?
  7. yes, sharks heal 20, tuna potato heal like manta ray, 22hp theirs 1 that heals 24 No there is not... http://www.runescape.com/skills/cooking.ws check that page
  8. i can... gives me a nice edge while pk-ing or deathmatching... even gives that few dozen crucial seconds at the kq or even at fight cave :) ill sell em if you like
  9. and the last overall update they got was 5 weeks ago :)
  10. first use tuna with an empty bowl when you have a knife in your invent, do the same for sweetcorn on another empty bowl, then use the 2 now filled bowls on eachother You didnt read what i said though... because im asking if its a bug what i can do. Use sweatcorn with a bowl, then just use tuan with the same bowl and it makes the mixture. I tried it, but didnt work for me... i had to chop both in seperate bowls first... BUT, were getting a bit off topic here :)
  11. 22 / 20 = 1.1 = 110% so 10% extra food the fact that you take 20 items of food means you got 20 * 2 extra hp of foodage with you... and 40 extra hp is as much as carrying 2 extra sharks :)
  12. lol @ northpole :) would be fun if there was another multi-quest story line that mimiced the warcraft 3 story right up to the frozen throne :)
  13. but removing them 1 by 1 from the sacks again....
  14. that is because its all 1 map... if you go up a ladder, you dont go to another map of another level... you go to somewhere else on the same map...
  15. its good when you dont have the level to fish and cook sharks yet... and seeing from my other thread, also profitable :)
  16. you forget to add in the fish xp you get from fishing the tuna, and the farming xp you get from the sweetcorn and EVEN at level 68 cooking: you dont burn any spuds, sweetcorn or tuna... really the only risk you run is accidently eating some food item along the way, or letting your sweetcorn die...
  17. first use tuna with an empty bowl when you have a knife in your invent, do the same for sweetcorn on another empty bowl, then use the 2 now filled bowls on eachother not as far as i know... you can buy milk and cream at the grand tree and yanille, and just milk in port sarim... but it stops there
  18. average is about 8, but you can et as low as 4 herbs per pickin, and as high as 14 with high level herby and super compost... farming is also a great way to get sweetcorns (duh... how else) for the tuna tater in my other thread (22hp - 1bite) useless? not completely i planted a pineapple tree in brimhaven, so everytime i go there i have a full invent of pineapples for super compost and pineapple pizzas (altho, those are now a bit obsolete) Farming is also a great way to get magic xp while alching and teleporting all over the place hell, for the fun of it, i even started to brew some hops for the not-often-used beverages like chefs delight (+3 cooking) or apple cider (+1 farming) or greenmans ale (+1 herblore) or even slayers respite (+1 slayer)
  19. its hard to judge what you can make per hour... you can farm the sweetcorn while farming herbs, so virtually no time loss there... and cooking 4 invents (for the 100 per hour we're trying to match, asuming theyre gonna sell at 4k) doesnt take long at a.. same for the tuna fish, you get them anyways while quite possibly also fish for swordfish (do you get tuna too when sharkfishing?) So then its chopping the whole bunch in a bowl, which wont take long either, just a lot of carefull clicking... adding the butter to 100 picked and baked potatoes wont take long either so it comes down to churning the butter... can you churn 100 butter in under 30 minutes (estimating here)...
  20. Seeing the reactions here, i think my initial estimate was a bit too reserved... Only NOW do some players know about this good food... Prices may vary well run as high as 4k, or stay as low as 2k... They may indeed sell for more, depending how well the makers want to be paid for all the time they put in... Im afraid we havent seen the end of the shockwaves this new food has sent through runescape
  21. TeeBeaun: its easy to get the parts (just let the sweetcorn grow while you get tuna), the annoying thing is the churning of milk to butter... and tbh, i dont see anyone selling butter just because of this update :) Duke Freedom: its hard to make em (see the procedure)... but with super compost and a scarecrow, and the level you need to cook it, you wont burn any spuds, tuna or sweetcorn, nor loose sweetcorn to disease (much)... so you dont loose much of raw materials, but its a lot of handling to do... as for time: you can let the sweetcorn grow when you harpoon swordfish and tuna... after that its just a matter of how fast and effective you can click
  22. Have you considered that a lot more people can now make this food? and that amongst these people, there are tonnes that cant make sharks yet? on top of that, the "only 2hp" argument doesnt fly... noone goes to a fight with 1 shark, its always atleast 20... so the difference at that point is as if you're carrying 2 extra sharks... ofc, they will not be sold like bow strings, or yew logs... they will probably change hands as often as say, treasure trail armor does...
  23. So... Let's ask ourselves... What will the price be? Its obvious that this is food that will be used in the harder quests (Desert Treasure, Monkey Madness, and nearing end of the Plague series), as well as for food staking and pk-ing... Add to that Trips into the Fight Cave (for the fire cape) and KQ trips... It makes it a versatile food, but not something to train on... You can train on sharks if you like, but unless you fish and cook them yourself, you're not gonna waste 1k a pop on em... People use cheap and/or easy to get foods to train on, like lobsters and excess tuna, and perhaps even swordfish if you dont have the cook- or fish level for sharks... So who will buy this food? Most obviously: Deathmatching peeps, Pures and Questers Anyone else: unlikely, Stakers and Pk-ers still need to make a profit, not spending their winnings on food SRSLY? YA SRSLY The question on wether it is worth to massproduce this food: Yes, most definitly, The people who buy this type of food do not wish to spend their time making it... So what will the price be? Well as said before, Manta Ray is history, and the Sea Turtle even more so as it heals less, and is harder to get (pretty much worthless now)... Manta Ray is the same thing now as a Tuna-Tater ( :? ) so those prices will be equal to eachother... The prices of Sharks will remain unaffected, it will not go down, mainly because of their ease to get compared to the Tuna-Tater... I estimate the price of the Tuna-Tater will settle somewhere between 1.5 and 2k coins a piece... The price will definitly be lower then Manta Rays, because it is a lot less reliant on luck, and more so now that a lot more people can produce 22hp/bite foods... THEY WILL NOT REPLACE SHARKS because of all the trouble you have to go through, look: [*:jbhgv5ki]Farm, pick or buy potatoes [*:jbhgv5ki]Bake them [*:jbhgv5ki]Milk cows and churn to butter (or buy the milk or butter) [*:jbhgv5ki]Use the butter on the baked potatoes without eating them [*:jbhgv5ki]Farm or buy sweetcorn [*:jbhgv5ki]Cook the sweetcorn [*:jbhgv5ki]Use a bowl on cooked sweetcorn while having knife in invent [*:jbhgv5ki]Get cooked tuna (relativly easy, as its a by-produce) [*:jbhgv5ki]Use a bowl on cooked tuna while having knife in invent [*:jbhgv5ki]Use bowl of sweet corn on bowl of tuna [*:jbhgv5ki]Use bowl of tuna and corn on baked and buttered potato All the while, trying not to accidently eat any of the foods (all but butter in this process are edible, yes even raw spuds)... BOTTOMLINE: Tuna-Tater is a lot of trouble, they will not replace Sharks nor lower their price, but they WILL sell for around 1.5-2k to Stakers, Questers, some PK-ers, so it is definitly worth making them, because not a lot of people want to go through all the trouble... Please discuss, I hope you enjoyed my analysis
  24. yes, and how about we put runite ore next to a bank too... [end sarcasm]
