6 days to get 800k
he has 46 rc so I would have to say nats all the way I can easily make 1k of nats per hour so you should be getting 700 to 800 maybe more if you get the rhythm going. That is (220 x 700) 154k+ per hour. You could have that money in about 5 hours.

Where can I train??
Hill gaints and moss gaints are great for training on, plus you can get some nice prayer exp too. Moss gaints drop some ok items, but they might be a struggle at your lvl.

820k to 2mill quick?
you could spend most of that cash on pure ess and then rc nats. Any surplus nats you be used to gain extra mage exp. Or if your just planning on spending the 2m on mage exp just make the nats and high alch.

69 to 70 range. Where to train?
Ok, I did pest control from 67 to 69. Now I'm at 69 and only 40k exp off, but I don't want to go back to pest control as after a couple hours of playing it solid it gets a little boring. Drops don't need to be great, but I would like the occasional herb or bone. I'm kinda of thinking about either; *Chaos druids, lots of herbs and easy as hell to kill *Chaos warriors more challenging but still a nice amount of herbs *Blue dragons, lots of exp but due to my agility level they take a while to get too. *Ogres at the kings training grounds, lots of bones but not too challenging. *Fire Giants, trained here before the only trouble is the crowds. So which do you think I should do or does anyone have and good ideas. PS I'm planning/hoping on hitting 70 tonight sometime. Thanks for any help.

Ram
1. SLis will not give you a massive performance boost unless you are using very high resolutions ie. on a 22" or bigger monitor or TV 2.The max ram most MoBo can cope with is 8gb. (Windows XP doesnt like more ram then 2gb anyway.) 3. I competely agree with you. APG should never be choosen over PCI-Express. 4. SATA means the HDD is easier to install with a increase in preformance. Yes its better then ATA, which your old pc would more then likely be using. 5. The 7600GT would be fine with most modern games on moderate settings, and I would wait for the DX10 to drop in price before buying another. 6. That processor is a lot better, but you dont need to be told that  . Tomshardware did a test to find out the best amount of ram which show 1.5gb of ram gave best performance for the money. 1gb is fine for nearly all modern games on meduim to high settings.

GUIDE:FireFox (More to be added)
Yep, but most of them only offer parts or have very little detail. I created this one to offer a more comprehensive guide for all users and not just those who have installed software before.

GUIDE:FireFox (More to be added)
Ok, Im making this guide to help all those users who want Firefox or would like it but dont know how to use it. Aswell as to help any users of Firefox make the best use of it. Should I Use FireFox? Possible reasons; *You would simply like try it *You are using linux *You would like to use the features Firefox offers *More to be added soon Reasons which I wouldn't reccommend Firefox for; *You have an illegal copy of Windows, so you cant download IE. *Your PC has performance trouble with IE (FireFox has very simular requirements) *Just because a friend said you should (Without you want too) System Requirements for FireFox 2 (taken from Mozilla's website) Windows  You can find this out by going to Start, Run, then type in "dxdiag". This will bring up a window displaying all your system specifications. Minimum System Requirements 233 Mhz processor 64 MB of RAM 50 MB of free disk space Microsoft Windows 98 Mozilla Recommends 500 Mhz processor 256 MB of RAM 100 MB of free disk space Microsoft Windows XP Mac Minimum System Requirements PowerPC G3 processor 128 MB of RAM 75 MB of free disk space Mac OS X 10.2.x Mozilla Recommends PowerPC G4 or Intel processor 512 MB of RAM 150 MB of free disk space Linux Minimum System Requirements 233 Mhz processor 64 MB of RAM 50 MB of free disk space Linux kernel 2.2.14 (with glibc 2.3.2, XFree86-3.3.6, gtk+2.0, fontconfig/xft and libstdc++5) Mozilla Recommends 500 Mhz processor 256 MB of RAM 100 MB of free disk space a modern Linux distribution If your PC doesnt meet the minimum requirements I don't reccommend you even install FireFox 2. If your PC does meet the minimum requirements and you want to install FireFox 2 then carry on reading this guide. The Download First begin by visiting the Firefox website (or click here). You should see the above picture, on this site. Click on "Download Firefox - Free". A promt box should popup asking you if you would like to save or open this file, select save, then select a location where you have some space free. Once the download has completed, locate the file which you just downloaded. Double click the file (if you are asked if you would like to run the file select "yes"), now follow the on screen instructions during the install (very easy, but I will add pictures if people need them. Begin the Browsing Now Firefox may or may not have started, if not just click on the desktop icon or from the list of programs in the start menu. Setting Up the Connection (Not for direct internet users) First click on Tools then click Options. (See below) Now select Network then Connection...Settings Now most of you should be using a direct internet connection and should need to change this, but this section is for all those who arent. Now change the setting to your router or servers settings. Customising FireFox 2 Themes Go to Tools, Add-ons. A little window will popup. Select themes from the top icons. By default you are using the default theme so lets change that. Click on "Get Themes" located in the bottom right corner. This will open the firefox theme download page. Simply select a them which you like and click "Install Now". This will bring up a promt box, select "Install". Once the install is complete Firefox will ask you to restart firefox for the theme to take effect, restart Firefox. And like magic when firefox restarts its now dressed in your new theme. Repeat if you dont like it or leave it, or turn back to default. Its your choice!!! Add-Ons Repeat the above exept replace theme with Add-On. (I will build on this if needed, but it seems very simple after a theme change) Reccommended Add-Ons/Themes Add-Ons *AdBlockPlus The best Firefox addon, stops all those annoying adds and popups *Chatzilla A great IRC Client and matches your FireFox *Download Status bar, great if you download a lot of files *Customize Google, gets rid of all those google adds and load of google related options *FasterFox, Add a little timer to tel you the load time as well as speeds up your connection. *NoScript, Stops alll sites uses any scripts which may harm your pc (ps it takes some time to get it configured to your liking, but stops lots of ad/spyware) Themes PimpZilla, very popular on these forums. MacFoxII Graphite, my personal favourite. iPox, a iPod themed design for all those iPod lovers out there. Super Mario Bros. 3 (the NES version, great for all those mario lovers. Extra Tweaks Windows Memory Leak Fix (only for advanced users) Taken from howtogeek.com, but modified for this guide. If Firefox 2 is not already started, load it up. If you are already viewing a page (such as this) create a new Tab (Ctrl + T), now type "about:config". A page should now display with a lot of setting. Right click within this page and select New, Boolean. Type in "config.trim_on_minimize" then click ok, now select "true", then press ok to finish. It should look like the picture below. Now restart Firefox for this change to take effect. Now whenever you minimize Firefox the memory used by Firefox will drop quite alot. Open up taskmanager and take a look for yourself if you dont believe me. Keyboard Shortcuts Windows Ctrl + T opens a new tab Ctrl + N opens a new window I hope you enjoyed this guide. Any Questions Welcome as are all comments, both good and bad. Ps. More will be added soon. Edited:06/03/2007 Added the memory leak fix.

WINDOWS VISTA
Im going to either wait till its need by a game which I really really want or if I get a DX10 card. Otherwise I'll stick with Ubuntu and XP Pro. All those bugs and gaming issues need combing out before and gamer thinks about whiching though :wall:

Farming timer/counter !!
Nice site/counter. You should add that users must allow scripts for the counters to work. (it wont work if they are using the NoScript addon) Freezix would you mind if I created a Visual Basic version of this?
-
two hard-drives
You could put them in RAID if your old HDD is the same size or only a little smaller. It woul free up about 1 to 2gb of space. Like Cruiser said make sure you take the OS off your old HDD.

"Oficial" Worlds
That would never work, as soon as one lower level or a pure finds out a good world for pc it's ruined within 15 minutes. I know what you mean ValaraZ. Last night I got though about 10 different worlds, those stupid pures and low who just do nothing for the entire game and want free exp. Joining a clan is a good idea or being friends with a recruiter and helping gather high lvls

lock please i have enough opinions
I would go with that too. If you dont like the abyss then you could make cosmics and use the mage training arena, but you would be losing money this way.

Would GREEN DRAGONs be WORTH IT at LEVEL 93?
Yes, the dragons hit low and you can easily use trout or salmon to heal. The prayer exp you get is good and the green dhides are great for crafting or selling (1.5k ea) so if you have so spare time its a good idea.

~FireFox Info~
Give some recommendations for the extentsions to use and good looking themes. My recommendations: *AdBlockPlus The best Firefox addon, stops all those annoying adds and popups *Chatzilla A great IRC Client and matches your FireFox *Download Status bar, great if you download a lot of files *Customize Google, gets rid of all those google adds and load of google related options *FasterFox, Add a little timer to tel you the load time as well as speeds up your connection. *NoScript, Stops alll sites uses any scripts which may harm your pc (ps it takes some time to get it configured to your liking, but stops lots of ad/spyware) My personally theme is MacFoxIIGranite, which looks smart, modern and looks just the way I like it.

New computer :) - Have I got all the parts?
Its for his SATA HDD, as some/most MoBo's need a BIOs update before the recognise SATA drives.
-
New computer :) - Have I got all the parts?
Then you have the best stuff any non overclocker could really want.

New computer :) - Have I got all the parts?
All looks good. One question, do you plan on Overclocking? Quads are a bad idea without you really want a fast pc and don't give a damn about money.

Pest Control IRC Channel?
Cheers for the help, but there doesnt seem to be any PC channels on tip.it, is there anywhere you would recommend me looking? Thanks for the previous help.

Pest Control IRC Channel?

Need help picking a new skill
Damn I can see what you mean, Crafting would allow for great money gains as you can do all of the enchantments. Herblore would all you to own even more during stakes as you could create all the stat boosting potions yourself. Slayer gets some great drops. Personally I would go for slayer, like the above poster said. My reasoning is that Crafting gives more mage exp then defence if you alch your creations, which you dont need. Herblore, gets some nice exp from slayer monsters anyway so this can be a side, side skill to train. Anyway congrats on 99 magic.
