  1. That sounds roughtly correct, but you have to take time into consideration. You will get about 2 full inventories of salmon/trout, in the time it takes you to get to get 1 of monkfish. So although the exp difference looks on the side of the monkfish, the time it takes will reduce the exp per hour. Personally if I'm looking only to level fishing I go to the Shilo Village, but if I'm looking for some exp and food for training/barrows then I'll go for monkfish.
  2. itunes inst supported by Windows Movie Maker. If you download a program like Switch (Although Im not sure if switch supports itunes), then you can convert a itunes file into a audio file which Windows Movie Maker can use.
  3. PC or Laptop -> $1000 + Computer Chair -> $50+ Computer Desk -> $100+ Good all in one printer -> $150+ Good webcam -> $50+ Good Digital cam -> $200 Doog pro cam -> $300+ A good TV -> $600+ TV Stand -> $50 + A nice bed -> $300+ A Video cam ->$300+ Cell Phone -> $100+ paint -> depends Total $3200+ Now if you have that kind of cash then you should have enough time to look into each one.
  4. Run Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware and CCleaner. They will get rid of any ad/spyware and CCleaner will make sure the reg files are clean. Also make sure your virus definitions are all up to date.
  5. Reboot your pc and put it into safe mode then run a full system scan. Rboot again, load up normally, download, ad-aware, ccleaner (not for the virus, but it will get rid of a lot of junk, so the virus scanner doesnt have to look there.) and spybot search and destroy. Update all the definitions then scan. If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, switch to firefox and download the following addons; Addblock plus Customise google (to get rid of any adverts which may lead to a site with a virus on) Noscript (Stops every script which may have a virus in it from activating) McAfee SiteAdvisor (Tells you the risk of virus' on any site) That should stop any virus' getting on your PC.
  6. Its a midi, ATX form factor, so theres enough room. 4 HD slots, 3 5" slots and 2 3.5" slots. There is some tubing inside designed to allow extra air follow to the cpu, but its easily removed. Its very quite too, but it doesnt look like a "gamers" case, it doesnt have a window or flashy lights, but I dont like cases like that anyway.
  7. Could be your graphics card, what is it ? Does it only happen when you are running multiple apps in the back ground?
  8. Lets start with the basic parts; CPU; Go with a athlon 64 anything from the 3200+ upwards. Make sure they are AM2 socket. GPU (graphics card); you said you dont play many games, so a 7300GT maybe ok for you although i would still recommend going with a 7600GS, 7600GT or X1600Pro depending on how much you are willing to pay. RAM; DDR2 (667 or better) is what you should be looking for, 1gb is now the standard for gamers and multi application runners. Motherboard; This need to to be AM2, have a PCI-Express slot and a few PCI slots. Must support SATA. For this the M2N Asus motherboards are great, just choose one in you budget and will the features you need. PSU and Case; I personally have a Antec Sonata II which come with a 450W PSU and is as quite as you can get for the price (̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã60ish). Try looking on scan.co.uk, overclockers.co.uk and dabs.co.uk for the parts. If you state a budget then I'll find you the best parts for the budget.
  9. Well if by premade MB you mean mb/ram/cpu combo, then yes, but make sure the parts are good ones. If your planning on getting a AM2 AMD cpu then the ASUS M2N-E is a good buy, it has the latest chipset, PCI-Express graphics port and is cheap ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã65ish. As for the cpu AMD's Athlon 3800+ (3200+ if its a tight budget) is a great single core for the price ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã70ish (̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50ish for the 3200+). On the dual core front the Athlon x2 3800+ is a great buy for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã85ish and its energy effective versions dont cost any more and use less power! The Asus M2N-E uses DDR2 so buying 1gb DDR2 (667) of consair value is cheap at ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã65 and offers faster speeds then DDR. A gpu update would be a 7600GS or 7600GT maybe a 7900GS or X1950Pro if you can afford. Hope i helped
  10. First virus and ad/spyware scan, this will speed the pc up if you find any. Run CCleaner and choose issues, scan then press fix, when it asks do you want a Registry back up choose yes then fix all. Do this a until there are no issues. Now go to runescape.com, choose the world, and settings, now wait till its all loaded up and play. If you cant see anything and have given the pc a few minutes to load up. Then you need to download java. Download and update it once its installed. Try again, if it still doesnt work, post here. Also can you tell us which brower he is currently using.
  11. Download Ad-Aware personal, upgrade the definations, then run it. You might be surprised with the amount of ad/spyware your pc has.
  12. Lua, Visual Basic and C/C++ are all programming languages.
  13. Im using XP Pro, but im working on putting Ubuntu on dual boot. XP is great for gaming and ease of use. About "Windows loves virus" posts, if your stupid enough not to have a antivirus, put on windows firewall (its not that bad) and not run run antispyware software every so often then you deserve a bit of trouble.
  14. If you want a easy as pie language to learn and have a psp (although lua can and is used on windows) then try lua. It can be learnt in a week allowing you to make basic/meduim level games. If you dont have a psp then Visual Basic would be a easy language to start on. For major programming you should look into C or C++. As a large amount of programming languages are based on C/C++, it means that you can change languages more easily. Recap For fun and messing around Lua For a more in depth, but still simple language the try VB (Visual Basic) For a more powerfull and harder to learn language try C/C++. Personally I started on Lua and made a few games, then HTML, then Visual Basic and now C/C++ (I'm slowly learning this in my spare time)
  15. Im currently using a Dell Dimension 2400, while I reinstall windows on my my other. This one 1) XP Home SP2 2) 256mb (will upgrade sometime) 3) 40gb 4) 17" CRT 5)Dell Dim 2400 6) Celeron 2.60GHz My gaming pc 1) XP Pro SP2 2)DDR2 (667) 1gb Corsair ValueSelect 3)Seagate 160gb SATA 7200.9 4) 17" LCD 5) I built it myself 6) AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Other parts Antec Sonata II Sapphire X1950Pro (PCI-Express not AGP) Asus M2N-E NEC DVD/CD -RW, with label flash Sony floppy, mainly for small files and bios. The processor would have been a Core 2 Duo, if my budget could have had it. Im thinking about the following upgrades in the future; 1gb more of ram new cpu and gpu heatsinks another DVD/CD -RW
  16. When Fighting damis ; *Take a ring of life with you in your inventory then switch rings when your in the cave. *Take a dds and use the special (4 times) on the second damis as soon as he appears, giving good damage and poisoning him. *Taking runes for the snare or entangle spells is great for recharging prayer and healing, just use the spell, run or walk heal and mage. Hope those tips help people.
  17. First check/update your graphics drivers, as this can cause choppyness in games/videos. Have you ran anti-spyware programmes, but have you ran any anti-virus programmes?
  18. I did and I finished the quest. Remember you need five iron bars.
  19. Try GIMP and the animation add-on it takes a while to get used to the gimp, but when you do you can do some pretty cool stuff. Best of all its FreeWare meaning its completely free unlike the other options people are giving.
  20. Complete spam, this guy is making a skill pure, not combat. Anyway saving a few hundred or some normal logs would be great for when you get members. Fishing and cooking, then sell the cooked food. Use this cash to buy feathers, both for flyfishing and fletching. Get your fishing 30ish for salmon, because its great exp. Then woodcut till you get members, save all the wood for fletching.
  21. I would recommend taking all the pouches you can when nature rune crafting Small stores 3 and takes up one stop. Those 3 nats are worth 1k (in total) the same as 3 mith ores, they only take 1 space and are alot quicker to get then 3 mith ores. Otherwise its a good guide, might do some air rune/eye of newt runs myself. :D
  22. Best place to buy cheap pc parts i found is scan.co.uk, overclockers.co.uk, savastore.com. Best just to check there today only offers and bungle packages. Start working your way into different markets, eg. people at your work/school/college, lan parties and online. Setting up a website wouldnt be a bad idea. The only way a small business can compete with the larger one is not on price, but quality and customer care. So dont build the cheapest you can for the most profit go with the best you can make with small profit. Lots of small profits are better then one or two big profits, plus when people know you make great pc they will spread the word and you'll get more customers.
  23. go on start -> control panel -> mouse then change the double click speed. That should help.
  24. I just used defade on it to make the mountians stand out a bit. It you wanted something different just say waht and I'll give it a go.
  25. Personally I use iron because im a member and they are easy to make. They both hit around the same amount so go with which ever you prefer/can get hold of.
