As stated before I'm using XP Pro and Ubuntu on dual boot. Personally I prefer XP mainly down to the fact I game. Ok, there are lots of virus that you could get on XP, but as long as you have a Anti Virus, Firewall and use them, then the chances if you get one is 1/100,000. But if you like putting your hand in fires and dont have a AV or Firewall then you deserve what you get.

First empty Recycle bin. I searched &btnG=Google+Search&meta=]google for boot . exe, more then likely the name of the virus and it came up with lots of pages on how to get rid of it.

I found out it a setting on the ATI Catalyst which was causing the trouble (not sure which one). After all the updates and tests revertting the setting on ATI Catalyst seems to have sorted it out. Although if I hadnt tried it I would have gone with a reinstall.

Download CCleaner, it will remove all the junk left on your PC from delted stuff as well as any bits which you dont need. Run a few Disk De[bleep]mentions. When using there a little mod which will reduce the RAM usage see here. Most important of all (if you havent already done this), run an antivirus, spyware and adware scans. I recommend Spybot search and destroy and Aw-Aware Personal (both free)

Ok, last night I installed fable the lost chapters, played it for a few hours exited the game (I used the in game exit/quit options) and shutdown my pc. PS. I brought this game is not a copy. This morning I turned my pc on tryed to load up fable and got a error message stating fable did exit correctly. It offered me to play in safe mode or normally I tried normally and it loaded the first three intro videos then crashed. I then tried agian in safe mode, still no luck. Then I searched microsoft they reccommend I created a new profile and try again, I tried this and it crashed agian both in safe mode and normally. I've been on the sapphiretech forums and asked them, they stat the GPU is getting too hot although it plays other games and the temp has yet to reach above 70C I googled the probelm and have so far tried the following; *Updated Bios *Updated Video driver *Updated CPU driver *Renaming the video folder to video1, which makes it crash straight away (ie no intro videos) *Changing the mode in which it loads 2000, no visual effects, low res. *Disabling sound *Multiple reboots *Improving air flow to the GPU, CPU, MoBo and removing any dust. I can load up any other modern game with no trouble but for some reason fable doesnt want to work. google the name of the virus and follow the instructions on how to remove it. You may have to reinstall all of windows if the virus has done major damage, although most virus' can be removed and the damage can normally be repaired

If you buy the CPU and MoBo at scan.co.uk you can save about ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã15 (I always check between scan and overclockers for the best price). Although for no price difference you could get the ASUS P5N-E SLi and the C2D 6400 which will preform better.

Train rcing then make nats, you get about 300k an hour, getting from 1 to 44 isnt that hard it just cost a bit to start, but you can make tons in the long run

For the amount of money its going to cost I would reccommend going with a Core 2 Duo as ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã per ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã they perform better then the X2 4600+. PS a OEM processor doesnt include a heasink.
