"Random" tele event
Soon as I can craft my own laws, I'll do just that. For the time being it's just a tad too expensive to train magic that way. What kind of rewards are you getting from the event?

Creative uses for the new easter ring
some still dont... but wait a year, and plenty of people will be going "*!?!?" I was just thinking how much more fun the rubber chicken is now than when it first came out. :D The ring is sure to be loads of fun next year.

Got eggs? (Includes proof that Blipo is the Easter Bunny)
Wow, talk about a wet blanket. Taking life a little too seriously, aren't you?

Jagex Literary Refrences
I thought I remembered seeing a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference somewhere, but I don't remember exactly what it was or who said it.

Wow, let's see here... Documented evidence... Character witnesses... A photo of you with a bunny face... I'm convinced.

camo & cape bug - with screenshots
No offense intended, but I find it hard to believe that this would be a planned update.

Talk to the lady in the Varrok clothes shop. She'll hook you up. Just tell her Doc sent you. 8)

If you could get rid of any Rule/Restriction/Regulation
Drop trading with your own account. I understand why they wouldn't want two accounts on at the same time, but drop trading should be allowed. It's like having a drop party. Once it's dropped, it's fair game to other players, but why not your own secondary player? In fact, the "risk factor" would be a fun element, because you'd have to find out-of-the-way places to conduct your "trades" so your other account can get to them before looters.

The Capital Of RuneScape
Time for me to be the odd man out. I vote for Lumbridge. It's the game's starting point. It's where you go when you die (usually). It's got that dude with the question mark staff (forget his name) who acts as the beginner's information center for all of Runescape. It's got a political representative (the Duke). It's the ultimate beginner's training ground. No, it's not the most useful place for a mid to high level. No, it's not the most fun place to hang out. But seriously, is Washington DC your first choice for a vacation spot? Once I'm elected President of Runescape, you can bet your bones I'll move my office into Lumbridge Castle.

f2pers/former members: 5 things you'd like added to f2p?
Maybe I missed a few posts, but I didn't see anyone complaining. I just see wish lists. This thread is no different from a "what would you do if you won the lottery" thread. It doesn't mean the people in a thread like that are complaining that they've never won the lottery. It's just for fun. There's no need to get preachy about what people deserve or don't deserve.

camo & cape bug - with screenshots
I didn't see this posted yet. Sorry if it was already. I can see my capes through my camo pants. Here's my red cape and here's my fremmy cape with some guy I just met who wanted to be in the photo.

First, that rhymed. Second, a list of things I'd like available to me when I visit F2P worlds occasionally (not in any particular order): 1. Canoeing 2. Sharks 3. Ring of Dueling (even if it only let me go to Al Kharid in a free world) EDIT: I forgot for a moment that the dueling ring drops you off INSIDE the Arena gate. Scratch that... 4. Ring of Forging 5. Agility Shortcuts

something strange happened i guess a bug see more inside
Odd. Now that you mention it, I got the evil chicken not long ago and noticed about halfway through the battle that I wasn't taking any damage. I didn't look close enough to see if he stopped attacking or if his magic was just having no effect. I assumed the latter. Now that I think about it, nobody is lucky enough to get through half a battle with the E.C. without taking any damage whatsoever.

spade
I guess being a packrat pays sometimes... I've got a few spades in my bank just from walking around and picking up almost anything that gets in my way over the last few months. I think I'll show some Easter cheer and hand them out randomly in Falador.

Post your "rare" Characters (*update pics on pg3 )
I don't have any rare characters currently, but I'm thinking of making a lvl 70 atk 1 str 1 def that can carry a whip. Off-topic: Krazyck, you'll be proud of me. My mining level is almost high enough to mine bears.

Tip.It Times Presents: The Nightmare of Customer Service
In a way, my post was a backhanded compliment. I come to Tip.It expecting to be entertained and informed because I've always been entertained and/or informed. Waiting another week for a new article won't kill me though. :)

Tip.It Times Presents: The Nightmare of Customer Service
While I respect Hugh (and agree with what he's saying), I was a little disappointed to see that an old post was recycled as this week's Tip.It Times article. I was hoping for some originality this week. Something to help us move past some old, worn-out controversies. Instead, an old post was dredged up, which I'm sure will cause old opinions to be dredged up as well. Don't get me wrong. I loved Hugh's post. I just loved it a lot more a week ago.

Why not? [Rule 5-8]
It's a well-stated argument, I'll admit, and your points are valid. That said, do you find it fair that a high level clan-leader with deep pockets can fund a mage-pure recruit and a range-pure recruit and hunt in packs, yet I - not a PKer - cannot fund a secondary account to buy my way through boring (yet crucial) quests that increase mobility (Grand Tree, Gnome Village, Fishing Contest, etc)? I do understand what you're saying and you were able to provide me with a reason for the rule at the very least. That helps me understand it more. I can't say it helps me agree with it any more, but I've said time and time again. As long as the rule is in place, I'll follow it.
-
Why not? [Rule 5-8]
I've thought the same thing. I try to hold myself to a high ethical standard. I know that everyone could say that about themselves, but I'm borderline prudish most of the time. I've got a pretty fine tuned conscience and even when there's not a rule against something, I'll often refrain just because I know it's wrong. This is the one rule that would have never occured to me if I hadn't read it myself. It seems to me that as long as the other rules are being followed (macroing for example), playing two accounts just means you'll have two avatars that are only half as good as the avatar of someone who plays only one. I can see there being a rule against multiple accounts being logged in simultaneously (like having a runner for your miner), but I see absolutely nothing wrong with drop trading. What keeps me from breaking the other rules is my own sense of fairness. What keeps me from drop trading with another account is a fear of being banned. The very day Jagex abandons the drop-trading prohibition is the day they'll get another $5 a month from me.

Runscape invasion
Now there's a neat idea for random event. Temporary color blindness! :)

Easter soon! (Post what you think it will be!)
 I like the Easter Island Idea, with the big stone faces and all. That might have an interesting storyline.

Easter soon! (Post what you think it will be!)
Basket would be nice, but what to do with it? Would maybe be used like 5 more inv spaces? I doubt it will have any practical purpose aside from looking festive. Just like the hats/scarves and the rubber chicken.

Runscape invasion
The autoers are programmed to always go to the same section of the essence mines. For example, if they are teleported to the south-east part, they would always walk back to the northwest part, if that was what they were programmed to do. I'm asking out of curiosity, not because I want to start autoing. :) How do they handle the fact that Aubury doesn't stay in one spot?
