EDIT: almost forgot Butterfingers #-o a great Aussie alternate/hip-hop group But i really dont stick to a specific genre. You say they're not special? How many of their songs have you heard? They defined the East Coast along with Biggie and Mobb Deep in the '90s, and were a group of nine, the largest major rap group at the time. They were all very diverse, and they used this as an advantage to reach out to a huge audience. If it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be a Method Man, ODB, or Redman, etc. and the East Coast would've been seen a lot differently then they were and are now. Plus, their piano loops and beats are some of the best in rap, I think the only beats better then theirs are Dre's beats (Of course :D ). Sorry to go on and on about it, but you were just really wrong when you said that... and they're down with RATM aswell

Couldn't be truer. Most rappers these days have nothing valid to say, they want money and couldn't care less about how they earned it. I've said for the past couple of years now, hip hop is dying into the stereotype people give it. The most part of them are posers, make no sense, talk about crap, have the same damn beat over and over again and have unnecessary swearing. Is it Why I don't listen to rap anymore? Alex?
