  1. So... Hi. I've been here on tip.it umm...6 years(well, longer since I didn't create this account right away)? Been playing my account since Classic, but not always active. I only used these forums to read guides and interesting threads(as you could probably tell from my post count, lol. 6 years "chicken feather" or whatever) but now I've been more active and i though I'd post this little thingy here. When I started RS i was a total rookie (12-13-14 years old prob.) Didn't know there was a world map for about a month, main reason being I knew like 6 words in english :D Roamed Lumbridge and Varrock mostly, smithing my own armor and such. At the moment I'm 20 and just starting to studying physics (I did statistical maths for 1 year but decided to not go trough with it (the theory of it all was a real pain)) and yes I'm still playing RS. Used to be a hardcore efficiency-freak but I play mostly for fun, hence my stats are not what you could expect. I play floorball in a team (not a very high league but education comes first) but I like all team-based sports. Oh and logic, I love it. Black humor and sarcasm are also good in my book. I'm from Estonia, most you probably haven't heard about it, since it's a small country in the EU. Feel free to add me in-game. I have like 3 active people in my friend list :D edit: lol my rsn is tuuskukk (sorry for the mispunctuation and spelling, I tried to not suck, lol. :D)
  2. It was used to kill Jad without the healers spawning (since you weren't the one inflicting the damage to it) but it was changed a while ago so that even using the deflecting damage only the healers spawn.
  3. totally insane. You could probably be a merchanting clan on your own. Although against the rules, selling your bank on the black market would bring you in 5500$(give or take. last time i saw an ad somewhere, it said 55 cent/mil), lol. Not encouraging and mods/admins feel free to remove it. Just pointing out how insane it is. Anyway, good luck with whatever you're spending it on.
  4. There is a profanity filter under options which everyone can toggle on/off. When it came out I was pleased, since talking in non-english was a pain. But yeah, you can choose to use it or not.
  5. Suveöö - Jaak Joala (it's on youtube if you want to check) lol, greetings from Estonia :P Probably doesn't quite make it fair but I didn't see a rule not allowing this. Good luck Edit: was too late, oh well, 10 minutes well spent
  6. I'm not sure how the combat calculating works in wildy but if summoning doesn't increase combat level when you don't have a familiar then he could do it right away. No downfall + it can help a litte to train other skills and also decrease the long grind (well not that long, since summoning exp/h is very fast). If it does however increase combat even if you don't have a familiar, then he should just stay the same level to keep combat level low aslong as he wants to do (serious) pking.
  7. What? DO NOT DO DUST DEVILS. They suck and their drop rates are pure cabbage. Yeah, yeah - dchains are nice but seriously they're only a couple of mil. IF you have some undying need to kill dust devils - do not do it in the polli dungeon. The spawn rate sucks and they're not close to each other. You might as well just do it in the chaos tunnels (I don't think they're aggressive) So...... you don't have a better alternative? I also have been trying to find a good monster like that. Aviansies are/were decent but you have to range(mage, lol) them.
  8. how about this + tons of sacred clay on a bonus exp weekend for 2m exp/h ? lol, don't know, if that would work(if double xp weekend doesn't stack or whatever) and probably getting the sacred clay thingys would take longer, but if it would be possible, it would make a hell of a video. anyways, very nice.
  9. I totally agree that flipping is dead, well almost dead. having a huge cashpile to start with you can still make decent money. I remember the 'good old days' when i was in W2 Fally for hours yelling "buy all chaos 115ea, sell chaos 135ea" and i mananged to build my 10m into 60m in less than month. Some items however rise/fall in the day and fall/rise in the night. (i could once instantly buy maple longbow(u)'s on GE and sell instantly them for +30gp ea after 8 hours or so, I had very limited cash though)
  10. probably a noobie question, since you obviously know what you're doing, but can you really manage switching your attack style AND shield every single hit without messing up? anyway my guess is to use the maul to counter the high defence bonus your opponent has(also easier to switch without mistakes). That's just a guess, I'm no expert and can't compete with Grimys research.
  11. Ok, so I'm currently killing the Decaying Avatar and since he manage to heal from 1/4 lp I now have time to ask some helping tips from you guys. I could use some tips on how to beat nomad, don't have the patience to to for 10+ times like some guys i read about on some other threads. need a good up to date way to deal with Nomad. My stats: 90 Attack 92 Strength 91 Constitution 70 Prayer 87 Ranged 80 Magic 60 Summoning 65 Herblore (no extremes) Thanks. Edit: also 51 Dungeoneering so no chaotics and such.
  12. Why do people constantly question others, and are as bad as the people they question because by saying that level 90-110 Dungeoneerers cannot give advice, they are acting in exactly the same way as the people that they condemn who think that level 60 Dungeoneerers cannot give advice, making them look like a hypocrite? And why does everyone always speak in rhetoric in this forum because they cannot seem to grasp the nuances of conversation? And why do people who have a grudge against a certain institution go out of their way to interject themselves into arguments that are really none of their issue, just because they have a personal vendetta? And why am I even still in this thread? 4 questions I always wanted to answer. 1) because nobody likes people looking down on them 2) ask yourself that, you're doing it right now. 3) that, or they just like being a smart[bleep], like me right now (I probably failed since I'm not talking/writing in my native language(+ i've had a few beers)) 4) You also like being a smart[bleep]
  13. To be Honest, getting a rapier would be the best thing you could do (unless the "vine whip" will be more powerful than rapier). and at 79 dungeoneering it's not going to take that long. You'll need/want it sooner or later. Getting it now would just speed up maxing melee stats. But if you can't be bothered Korisi's sword is better than dragon scimitar.
  14. You could also close the bank doors early in the RS2 It used to be possible to train attack(maybe strength and defence too, not sure/don't remember) on dummies in Varrock without gaining HP exp after level 8 by using beers/ales/etc to lower your level below 8, so it would allow you to use the dummies. It was used to create low-level pures
  15. the best castle wars armour and maybe archer(i), warrior(i),berserker(i) and seers(i) rings
  16. Life. Two men work at a company. One man works every day during the normal hours. He does the standard amount of work everyone else does. The other man works every day during normal hours, but he also works overtime every day until 8PM and arrives at the office 2 hours earlier than everyone else. In addition, he works on Saturdays as well, and whenever he is in the office, he is working (so it's not like he's just going there and chillin). Both work equally as hard while they are at work, so neither man is more efficient in terms of work done per hour. The second man gets a promotion, does the first man have the right to complain? "But I had to go home to my family! My kids have to go to soccer practice at 4. Life got in my way, so I didn't have a fair chance." And that's going to get you promoted too? I'm not complaining, I agree, that he can crash and I would too. I just answered his question, that's all. So writing a bloody essey to prove you're point isn't nessesary.
  17. Kill green dragons, collect the hides and bones. that's like 100k+ per run. The moneymaking for low-mid levels became ultra easy when GE came out, killing a cow now brings in like.... 500gp (hide+beef+bones)
  18. I've been training range for quite some time now and I got my Void before that. But one day I started to wonder, if the 10% boost is really worth for all that range attack bonus you get from dragonhide or Karils. At the moment I'm just guessing Void is better for low and mid level monsters, but not for high level monsters (Black dragons for example) or am I wrong and the 10% boost makes all the difference? Do you have any ideas or better yet is there a theory of some sort out there.
  19. this thread is sliping away. an update on how you've done would be great.(always like your writing)
  20. yeah, i never liked to merchant, i normaly don't use merchanting to get money, but 8 mil is just too much for me to gain by skilling
  21. let me know anytime if you need a teamate for DKing or a suicider. i haven't killed a dagganoth king in my life, but i always awanted to do it. rsn: tuuskukk (if you want to look me up or pm me )
