If you right click the tree it gives you the option to "destroy". If you choose that option it tells you you can get another from Diango. Therefore I believe it will stay after the event is over, as a kind of bonus for being P2P.

I do understand. But the point I was trying to make is that there has always been "real life" items in the game. Just because they have added a few more lately does not make me personally feel it is becoming more like real life. If it does for you then thats all well and good. Sorry if my post wasn't clear enough. Anyway, back on topic...you could add the clothing from the balloon quest- its the outfit bomber crew wore in WW2. And then theres always the penguins!!

I suppose this view could be taken with a lot of the in game items Sharks (or all fish for that matter) Potatoes Onions Dye swords, daggers etc. Trees Demons! :anxious: and the list goes on and on..... I dont see it as runescape becoming more like real life, more that if Jagex had to invent every item in game from scratch, and didnt use real life items then we would not have a fraction of the game we have today.

Pretty much the same as you, its ok after doing another skill for a long time, but it soon loses that appeal. Thats why its still one of my lowest levels :(

This is true, in a way. The purpose of the pentagram is to protect the world from the demon that is being conjured or summoned, the act of which is generally accepted to be evil. Thanks, for clearing that up for me. Back on topic, I dont really think it is a two finger salute at the "whingers", but merely a means of decoration for the random event. :-k

Slightly off topic, but I always thought pentagrams were protective symbols, in that a demon or entity could not pass one or leave one if it were stood on it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!
