The only even semi-decent computer I currently have to my disposal is a laptop (which isn't very good anyway; it's fine for work, web browsing and so on). There is also a desktop in my house, but that is worse than the laptop and it would not be worth upgrading that anyway: I don't have access to it much of the time. I was considering making my own computer instead, but I do not really know where to start. I have a list of components that I would need which I found on the Internet, but I do not know if there is any kind of compatibility issues between, for example, certain motherboards and graphics cards (presuming that they are the same thing as video cards). If somebody could explain if there are any compatibility issues between computer components, I'd be extremely grateful. I'm sure that I could find a guide that would help me to actually build the computer once I have all of the parts, but if you know of a guide and would be willing to give me the URL... :P

Couldn't resist. :D Anyway, Guthix is my personal favourite RuneScape god, followed by Saradomin. Why? Because it's (yes, it. It's neither male nor female, if I recall correctly) the most realistic god. Seriously, any god that has the power to reform the entirety of creation in a nanosecond is good in my eyes, especially considering it considers the effects said action would have on the balance and not just creating a universe worshipping it. So, my words are omnipotent, hibernation and balance.

Does anybody know if you can make a basement in your house by creating a quest or skill hall and building stairs? It's just that I read somewhere that you could only do that with Dungeon Entrances, but wouldn't that just apply to dungeons? :S

Didn't the guy (name eludes me >>) who grants you permission to investigate the Zaros altar under the Digsite say that Varrock was founded by Saradominists after Zaros' defeat to hide the remains of the original, Zarosian settlement? Don't quote me on that--I did the quest a good year or two ago--but that sounds good. :D Same with the opening of Dorgesh-kaan. Looks like a great month to me!

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but using a knife on the Arctic Pine logs gives you the option to make Magic Bows. :shock:

Good idea in theory, I suppose. But it would be unfeasible to have player mods approve every book in the game... maybe have the censor apply and player mods can 'destroy' copies of inappropriate books, perhaps? Maybe leaving a note in the book's place in your bank or inventory? Maybe you could add a new 'Author' NPC who could introduce you to books and tell you how to make one? As an idea, you could need a sheet of papyrus per pages of the book (each page 600 chars, maybe?) , leather (to make the cover) and glue to bind the finished product. Maybe make the leather dyeable to make it look nicer? You'd also need quills (Already in the game, tbh-that Firebird quill from The Golem) and Ink (In game as well-same quest) to write with. Also need another vial of ink for each page written? You could also have a new room in your house that you used to write books. Not sure what it could be called, but it could have a writing desk, where you sit to write (wonder why? =P), bookshelves, papyrus drawers (random idea, probably for more convenient papyrus-of course, you'd need to get the amount of papyrus you want to store yourself) and ink drawers (see previous). With all the use of papyrus, you'd probably need to be able to make it-shops would run out pretty quickly. New farming plant-the reed, only growable in new patches? I dunno, I'm just churning out ideas for your suggestion as they come. But yes, the idea's one that I've had for a while myself, and just not bothered to type it up. No need now, though, seeing as you've already done it. Just needs fleshing out though.

I reckon that you will have to 'upgrade' the Road of Ivandis in order to kill the Vyrewatch or Lord Draken himself, and have done since the quest was released. Why not top it with an enchanted Salve Crystal instead? Should be more powerful than a Sapphire against the undead, no?

Does anybody have a picture of somebody wearing the full set of the new Saradomin clothing? I've looked in several threads, but there're no pictures of people actually WEARING it.

Could I defeat Damis and Kamil (the Shadow and Ice people) in Desert Treasure with my stats, which are: Attack: 72 Defense: 72 Strength: 75 Hitpoints: 75 Ranged: 69 (I really should get that to 70...) Prayer: 55 Magic: 73 I'm thinking about Snaring then Earth Blasting / Waving Damis, and just flat-out meleeing Kamil with plenty of Super Restores. I've already got the Smoke and Blood diamonds--the were quite easy, in my opinion.
