  1. I'd rather see improvements on existing skills... -.-
  2. Paint it red. :anxious:
  3. Exactly. In cases like this, it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd rather have a 17 year old suspended for bringing shells to school than see the headline "Colorado School Shooting." And if she explains it to colleges/employers it'll probably be shrugged off because of the activities she's involved in.
  4. Heh. I noticed that, too. lol
  5. This is ridiculous... He's DEAD! I'm all for honoring them and everything, but this is just too far. These people need a reality check.
  6. Don't know what you talking about :anxious: The helloween poll was started at June 18 and finished at June 26 and i don't think you need 3-5 months to ready a poll... He's saying it takes 3-5 months to make the item, not the poll. And by the time they made a poll and had players vote, they'd have a little over a month to do what players voted for.

Well, tonight I was stumbling around, and I came across this game. It's kinda like a rubiks cube, but easier. I've gotten up to level 16, but I spent well over an hour on it, and I have no idea how to do it. Have fun; it's addicting. :)
  8. I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but you got a random right then. First, you get an extremely rare drop in 12 dragons, then you get a non tele random. Dude... go play the lottery or something. lol
  9. Mk... so it's bad to keep guns from someone with the attention span of a hamster? Or someone who thinks they're still in 'Nam? Guns are dangerous enough in normal hands, not to mention people with medical conditions... (or "medical" when it comes to ADHD) And the G.A.P. law would deny a gang member from getting a gun? Call me crazy, but I think that's a good thing...
  10. Thanks everyone for the comments, especially you, meol. :D I'm going to visit my dentist and the tattoo parlor in my town and find out some more info today. Kinda leaning towards getting it atm. :P
  11. Kay... So lately I've been thinking about getting my tongue pierced. I've talked to my friends about it and I'm getting mixed messages. Some are saying I should and stuff, but others are telling me why I shouldn't. And they have some pretty damn good reasons. I don't want to completely destroy my teeth or anything, but I've always wanted it pierced. I need help. :(
  12. It sounds to me like he's sending you $1100 and asking you to send back $700. If that's the case, it's definitely a scam. After you send the money, you'll find out the check was fake, and you'll be out $400. This thing happens a lot on eBay. ;)
  13. Seems like a lot of Homecomings were like that. lol
  14. Not a bad trip. :P Never bothered to do turoths because I've always thought they're crap. :P OT: Do you like vista? I've heard mixed feelings about it.
  15. I posted on this topic about POHs. Kinda funny imo. :P
  16. At about 9:00 this morning I get a text. "Brittany's mom passed away this morning in a car accident." Now, I'm not the best of friends with her, but we're friendly towards each other, and we're in a couple of the same classes, so I should be kind of upset about this, right? But I'm not; I don't cry, my heart doesn't drop to the floor, and I'm not walking around in a daze all day. I feel nothing. And what really scares the hell outta me is that I'm not upset that I'm not upset about this. (if that makes sense) I'm not emotionally dead, either. A couple months ago a girl who I have really the same relationship with nearly died in a car accident and I was completely devastated. So... is there something wrong with me?
  17. A senior is the last year of high school before you graduate. And I kinda like that Semper Paratus one, thanks.
  18. That's [cabbage] - the customer is not 'always right' - and people who come into a store thinking that deserve to get shafted by the employees and essentially told to leave. If management sides with the customer - get another job. Management which is bullied by customers isn't worth working for because utlimately you will always lose at the end of the day. I have argued with customers about the 'always right' line way too many times to remember and my managers have always backed me up. That's asuming what you are arguing is a case where they are definately wrong. Hell, if you're unsure about something - check first. Just don't let them push you around with attitude, otherwise you're setting yourself up to just have a [cabbage] day whenever it happens. u live on the other side of the globe, things are different in N.America Actually, not really, I work at a Tim Hortons in NY and I've argued with customers a few times when they were 100% wrong, and I still have a job. OT: Just dress up nice for the interview and be polite, and you should get the job, I can't imagine TRS is that picky.
  19. Well, it's my senior year in HS (finally :D) and in our yearbook, there's always quotes either under our pictures or somewhere in the book. We need to hand our quotes in tomorrow, and I still have absolutely NO idea what mine should be. So, I need your guys' help to think of one. It can be funny, deep, weird, ANYTHING, so run wild. Thanks a bunch. :)
  20. +1 THE UNITED STATES IS NOT GOING TO JOIN WITH MEXICO!
  21. Yes mate, because a nuclear meltdown causes radioactive pollution that lasts longer than the solar system has. The exaggeration train stops here, TYVM. Apart from significant advantages in technology, the lads at Chernobyl intentionally removed the control rods. They weren't trying to blow the place up, but you don't need to be all that clever to realize removing the control rods is a friggin stupid thing to do while running the reactor. In fact, the soviet night shift who did it, completely missed safety regulations. Poorly educated personnel, coupled with a Soviet design. And how many people did the Three Mile Island incident kill again? Nuclear power is the best option available to us. Fear of what *might* happen is not better than ignoring what *will* happen if we keep burning coal in coal plants. The half life of U238 is 4.46 billion years. TYVM. Nuclear power is not the best option for us. I'm not saying we should be completely reliant on coal and oil. What the world should be doing is setting up wind farms, underwater wind turbines, solar plants, etc. But nuclear power is one of the worst options right now. What could happen far outweighs what will happen if we keep using coal.
  22. Well, I do kinda believe that, we can't exactly be helping the environment right now, can we? No, I suppose not. I'd much rather be on nuclear power than oil. I'm just very irritated that politicians are trying to use global warming as an excuse to tax everyone. Yea, because it worked out so well on Three Mile Island and Chernobyl... To be honest, I'd rather have global warming than a nuclear meltdown. Both mortgage our souls, but nuclear plants have a higher interest rate. Because nuclear technology hasn't advanced at all in the past 20 years - plenty of countries get a large percentage of their energy from nuclear sources safely. I wonder how many fossil fuel plants have exploded over the years..... Yea, but it hasn't advanced enough. One mistake and that city is uninhabitable for tens of billions of years. Not to mention that the waste is just baby sat because no one has any clue what to do with it.
