  1. You're assuming everyone uses the guide, just because a guide says to do something doesn't mean everyone does, I rarely use guides and I believe Monster/Mini game guides are stupid telling you what to bring, it's going to be different for everyone depending on their stats and many people like to use their own style/tactics at doing things. Sorry for the double post. Post people do though... As nearly all barrowers know ROW is disabled at the chest. I don't understand what postmen have to do with this :P

  3. Yep, I use ROL at barrows since the power went off JUST as I opened Dharoks coffin, Lost 5M in stuff.
  4. 1)Fletching: 75 2)Runecrafting: 49 3)Thieving: 71 4)Agility: 63 5)Slayer: 80 6)Herblaw: 56 7)Farming: 49 think they're right anyway :P And this topic just reminded me I need to do Tears of guthix this week :)
  5. Why does someone make a topic whenever there is a system update? This is getting like the recent update forum on the offical forums :\
  6. As I've said before, that list is NOT accurate. The Order of those names, accurate, but it's missing LOADS of characters. That list is from the Carpentry Highscores, and you had to have logged in when they'd put the highscores in then you'd be added to the list. So it's in chronological order of when the accounts were made, but only the ones which logged in after they put the highscore thing there.
  7. 1. Skill Requirement Servers: 1k skill Total+, 100 Combat+ and 1500 ST+ 2. Give range decent stuff for pking... 3. More high level updates.
  8. But it's been said various times before that people couldn't get higher than a certain number, this number is usauly the same as their quest points, I'll test it on my nub when I do the quest. It always is 60 xp per tear, always has been.
  9. Quest Points do not effect how long you spend in the cave, but the max amount of tears you can get.
  10. I've used 120k Chaos on Steels/Irons In that time I had 5 skirts, all off steels. NONE off irons.
  11. The Sinclair Mansion thing was used for making Swamp Paste in RSC for the Trawler, so yeah, It's 3-4 years old :P
  12. Mod Ash Jagex Mod 22 Feb 2006 15:06 Following this morning's bugfix update, there has been a problem with routefinding when you clicked on big bits of scenery, such as things in agility training areas. We're rebooting the servers to fix this now. Again, sorry about the inconvenience. Guess it was that bug.
  13. Just spoke to a Mod Ingame, Apparently It's not a "glitch" just a limitation. When you get attacked, only the x previous attackers get recognised, this number is probably very small (I'm guessing 5) This would explain why this "glitch" occurs. Imo this is easy to change, I guess they store the previous attackers in an array. (Previousattackers(x)) where x is the number that is stored, just change x to something else, simple really.
  14. I've killed like 2.5k Zombies, 200 skeletons, 300 lessers, 300 goblins, 100 hobgoblins so far without one, a few hill giants and imps aswell. Guess I'll go kill some gouls and try and get it. I only count 8 there, what's the 9th?
  15. Slightly Different to what I said, but the same basis. Random number generated from 0-100 are all given an item assosiated with them, instead of the rare items been in this, there is a section called "rare" which will then Generate another number 0-100 and you get the "rare" item. Basicly the same as what I said, except that the rare items are in a totally different section. No, we are saying the same thing. The random seed 1-100 (first roll/wheel) has one spot on it with a rare drop. If you get the rare section, you move to the second roll/wheel 1-100, which chooses whether you get a sapphire or a dragon item. Yeah, I said we were saying the same thing I just posted how I thought it worked earlier in the topic and didn't know there was a "rare" real :P

  17. I think It doesn't matter, but your Quest Points determine the max amount of tears you can get.
  18. I came here expecting a "I kil 3 dust dvil n nu gt chin, ring r brok" I was dissapointed :( This is how I think the runescape item drop code works. You "Randomly" generate a number, say this number can be ANYWHERE from 0 to 100. 20 coins are if "x" is 0-20 5 fire runes is if "x" is 21-25 Nothing is 26-35 etc. And then the rare drops would be "x" = 99.999976-99.999980 (You get the idea) While a commong drop would be 95-99.999975 etc. Now, what I believe ring of wealth does, if worn adds a certain number to "x" It'd be around one or two, or mayb even something like 0.5 So say you "roll" 19 without ring of wealth, you'd get coins, but with Ring of Wealth You'd get (19+2=21) 5 Fire runes instead. Now, all the Common items are at the bottom numbers, the rare ones being towards the top, this would mean you'd have a better chance of getting the "Rare" drops as It'd push it towards that end, but wouldn't make it guarenteed that you'd get it, just make it more likely. Anyway, That's how I'd make it work if I was told to program a "Drop" system (Which I have done, and it works basicly like that)
  19. And Lots of Jagex mods probably have accounts here but under different names. I know one, but I'm not going to say who it is :P
  20. No Update this week, been confirmed by Paul, my friend asked him in game.
  21. I took pics a while ago of almost all the quests, but this was just after the quest came out. Some Stories can be told different ways aswell.
  22. Either spend a month and not even get the item, or get the money for it and guarentee the item, I'd know which one i'd choose.
  23. No, it's worth more than legs because It's harder to get. Basicly every man and their dog can kill metal dragons and the drop rate is pretty high, where as with chain you have to kill a harder monster, takes longer to kill, people don't constantly kill the KQ although the drop rates are probably the same as legs. There's about 4 people killed Metals on Each server, in about what? 40 Members servers, that's 160 people killing Metal Dragons. Whereas There's only ONE kalphite queen per server, and not everyone is killing her consantly. There's probably around 8000 Metal Dragons killed her Hour, and if the drop rate is around 1/256 then that's roughly 31 Legs per Hour. With the Kalphite queen on the other had, say she's being killed on half of the servers, that's 20. And you can kill roughly 6 queens per hour, That's 120 Kalphite Queens dying per hour, and if the drop rate is 1/256 then that's 1 Chain every 2 hours, quite a big difference don't you think? That's why the price of Chain and Legs is so different, There are roughly 62 x more pairs of Dragon Legs in the game then chains, ofcourse that is not correct, but you can see where I'm comming from.
  24. Carpentry was in the game so stop complaining about it ffs. I'm sure there'll be an update today, if not then we get a double update next week, or the week after.
