Thanks for the generally positive feedback, all. : It was nice to reach out to a broader than usual audience, and I was surprised to see that the Jmods didn't evade the questions as much as we have seen in other previous interviews elsewhere. Both this interview and the Villandra one has spawned discussions on other forums/sites, which is always nice. :thumbup:

Let's pretend it's August and the issue made it out in time... No? We apologise for the delay, but we hope the content reflects the hard work we put into this issue. The BlacKnights (the K is shared ;) ) is the oldest surviving clan formed in RS, and we have interviewed one of their leaders to learn more about their history and success. Another interview this issue is with Villandra, one of the first maxed players. So? 100's of players are maxed!, you say. Yes, but this one also has side accounts with the following achievements: First untrimmed Slayer cape, first untrimmed Summoning cape and the first 10 Hitpoints Slayer cape. Read about her clan history and impossible goals. And then we have decided to use the If you met a Jmod... topic from Clan Discussions as an inspiration, and actually ask the Jagex Moderators some questions. We did sneak in some of your questions aswell. ;) One of our guest authors have written about warring history, and in this issue we present the first part of this series: RS Classic Wilderness. That was also many people's first meeting with clans. I remember seeing groups of high levels waiting and chatting friendly in Edgeville, waiting for the last survivors and/or strugglers. When all were respawned, returned and together, there was the spamming of clan name or whatever they felt like that day. I think that was a great way to recruit, it looked very attractive to be a part of. Much less flaming, but that might just be because the reporting system was a lot stricter back then. :lol:

5 months is a bit old, it depends on the topic IMO. There is no set limit on that, and some RS or OT topics can be outdated after 5 months in example. Use common sense, and at least don't make new topics about it that are less than a month old. Again, depending on content.

It's not like they won't be crashed anyway... Might aswell make an event out of it? :P

Skilling clans not to be forgotten... Best: Serenity, Divination X Worst: White Skillers (wtf?), Mad Skillerz / Ancient Skillerz /any clan name where they put a "z" at the end of skiller to think it sets them apart from the 10 other clans that do the same

Yep, it's like a bad reality show. We all pretend we don't care, but love the dirty little details. ;) It would be nice to see a fight between just VR and DF, but then again (and no offense to VR here) that's what you get for crashing every other clan. Can't expect to get clean fights. I really doubt VR will fight alone either.

Multiple pages of spam removed. Action taken against more than one. I understand that this is a heated topic for many, but posting accusations on someone's blog when they are shady at best will only reflect badly on yourselves. Mob mentality isn't as charming as it sounds. Any off topic posts posted after this point, will be dealt with as spam or worse, and proper actions will be taken. While we don't want to be so strict, we won't allow people to ruin blogs or other topics just because they have something against the topic poster. If we allowed this, the forums would be very unpleasant really fast. Apologies for removing positive posts in between, but some had references to the negative posts. Feel free to repost the positive and encouraging posts, without any references to the accusations. No need to continue the drama. :) If anyone has any solid evidence about a Blogscape user macroing, then contact a board moderator or an admin. Since the last topic died, we're giving it a new try on request - this time as an official sticky. Knock yourselves out, and save the flames for the wars. ;) Read the rules, and be aware that personal attacks will not be tolerated.
