  1. Druidic Ritual or Fishing Contest. Can't remember which. Or maybe Witch's House...
  2. Did somebody call a DOKTIN!?!?! I grow increasingly satisfied with it for every Fremmenik quest I do.
  3. People (ie. humans) are, by nature, greedy. I'm not saying that everyone is, but personality defaults to it. Look at babies/toddlers. They just want stuff. They don't care what it's worth, or how useful it really is. As long as they have stuff, they're happy. Now, replace 'babies/toddlers' with 'spoilt, moronic 13 year olds' (the vast majority of Runescape citizens), and 'stuff' with 'virtual stuff'. It's rude, it's annoying, they don't know any better.
  4. Are you kidding? WoW has terrible graphics. The only way they can be considered good is in comparison to games that aren't several GB in size. Not saying it's without reason, though. An MMO game with super great graphics, especially one with as large a world as both aforementioned games, has to cut back on craphics in order to reduce size and loading times. But comparing a pre-rendered object to a game with mediocre-at-best graphics is just ludicrous. /taking a simple comment way too seriously.
  5. Recently reached 44 runecrafting, and I'm wondering, is the fairy ring method worth it (time-wise)? Seems as though it's less distance than the general store method, and I'm too cheap to buy enough glories to make the abyss efficient. So, general store or fairy rings?
  6. http://whatpulse.org/ I would estimate about 2-3 million clicks in my RS lifetime. Most probably more. I suck at estimation.
  7. It's all in the damn Knowledge Base.
  8. Earlier today I saw a level 72 try to buy a pair of rune boots from a level 14 for 1k (not too sure how he got them, I believe he said something about the wilderness). I'm afraid to say I didn't say much (by the time I figured out what was going on, a level 84 had already intervened), but I did back up the guy that told him the real price. The worst part was the level 72's insistence that the guy who was telling him the turh was lying, and his teliing him to shut up. In the end the level 14 left to check a price guide, and the level 72 revealed a tremendous secret.. His main was n0valyfe and he could own the level 84 noob. It was pretty funny. Unfortunately, I didn't think to send an abuse report, or tell the level 14 to send one.
  9. That's the second biggest sentence I've ever seen.
  10. you're right it's like giving candy to a fat kid and punch him when he eats it No, it's like giving raw chicken to a fat kid, and him complaining when he gets food poisoning. If he'd have used common [bleep]ing sense, there wouldn't be any problem.
  11. Map always has to face north (except in some rare cases, where it obstructs vital things). Anyone else ever got it exactly north? I had a screenshot of it somewhere. Always need my purple gloves and boots. Yeah, I'm a ninny. I always default to my inventory tab, even if I don't need it.
  12. AFK training has always been illegal. And I do believe that they send a player mod to talk to you before they ban you.
  13. My first was most surely a mage, but then I left for a month and forgot the password. I do believe my second (current) was an adventurer. But he mined his little heart out.
  14. Except Skeletal Wyverns can hit in the 20's. Even if he was at 99 HP, there would have been a high chance of him getting well owned.
  15. May seem a bit obvious, but when you're alching, don't watch your nats. Resist all temptation to know how close you are. It makes it all go by that much faster. Also, when using a 'Do X' option, such as cutting bows, a good manouvre is to move your fingers from your mouse to the numpad (may not work for lefties), and push down on 1, 2 and 3 with your index, middle and ring fingers, respectively, then push the enter key with your ring finger. I've also heard of just typing in 33, but I've become far too accustomed to my way to test that out.
  16. Well, this may work if you are using the computer the player database is kept on. Veeeery baaad...
  17. "Prolly". Makes them seem like an eight year old girl.
  18. Damn, I'ma have to stay up late. Time for a cup of tea.
  19. The Fued. Easily the funniest quest I've done so far.
  20. Proof enough? Was on hiatus for both the bunny ears and the scythe drops. Edit: Probably have some pre-RS2 message centre messages lingering around, too.
  21. 60 something. It's worth it to get members at any combat level, if only for the abundance of new skills. No free skill ever rubbed me quite the same way as the woodcutting/fletching combo, if you acquire my drift.
  22. Personally, I'm 76 combat and 1103 skill total, and would consider myself somewhat noobly. Although I've been playing since late '01, I've never had more than a million at any one time. I'd consider levels <80 to be low, speaking on a combat standview. But I feel that, as long as the avatar is a main, combat level is a pretty good indicator of a minimum skill total.
