Im Stuck. Anyway to get Unstuck? Money Tips + Advice Please!
You will not be able to upgrade that computer much, as the Dell Inspiron is a laptop. You are also not going to make a whole lot of money on the stock market without substantial investment capital (read as: lots of money to start with). A paper route might be a choice if you aren't old enough for a "regular" job, but it will take a while to get the kind of money necessary to buy a new computer. I also recommend not getting a Dell unless you go for a laptop, as Dell desktop/tower computers are as bad as their laptops and servers are good. A home-built computer will likely give you the best machine tailored to you, but the risks you take building it yourself are probably not suited to someone who is not experienced with poking around inside their computer. TigerDirect or Besy Buy would probably be your best source for a finished computer, I believe they both sell complete machines with your choice of CPU, RAM, Video and so on. There's a nice Acer at TigerDirect for about $400 to which you could add a good video card for $100 or so.

RS worlds not found... PLZ HELP!!!!
Have you installed a new HOSTS file recently, or a firewall (including the one built into Windows XP Service Pack 2) ? Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache? Have you recently changed your Java type and\or version?

Master Slayer Guide by Axe Man Jack (AOW) Updated 9/06
1) Use a HOSTS file: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm 2) Download the RS client from Jagex (from main page, go to Download Extra Files under Website Features)

will the 99 stat be the limit for all skills PERMANENTLY?
Raising the cap over 99 would be easy, as the smallest piece of information that can be stored in a computer without using binary fields is +/- 127 using signed and 0-255 using unsigned bytes. The problem would be in displaying the data, as the stat (skill) fields are currently set up only to display 2 digit numbers. This is what would require a "complete rewrite" of the game, or actually only the user interface, or perhaps even just one part of it. Now is the time Jagex, put all the combat-related (and a few others) "skills" on a page of the info box, and the rest on another page. You could even put in bigger graphics than those tired old ones.

Most Annoying Random Event
I hate the sandwich lady, too easy to mess up and get teleported somewhere far from where you were doing whatever you were doing when the little [self-censored] showed up.

Orange Boater??
There are at least 3 different colours of boaters (they resemble old fishing hats), they have no stats and are about as valuable as phats, masks, headbands, berets and other no-stat items, i.e.: worthless except to dress your character up and pretend it matters any more than functional gear.

magic secateurs, what did YOU need to make them
Pretty sure I've tried that, along with 15 other suggestions, but I'll give it another shot just to be sure.

magic secateurs, what did YOU need to make them
- pure stupidity
Jagex hates pures, plain and simple. Besides, they are a manipulation of the combat system in a way Jagex never intended, like hybrids (which Jagex appears to be trying to limit too). horntail: your sig is missing the h in http, that's why it isn't working.- Hidden Update: Pestle and Mortar
Maybe you have to do a quest or minigame to regrow the fingers, or transplant the ones from "Hand in the sand" to yourself? Maybe your agility goes down two points or more permanently until they are regrown? Oh, oh, I know...new woodcutting event, you miss the tree and cut half your foot off. Having armour boots (black, steel, rune, whatever) reduces the chance of toe-severance. Or you make energy potions but end up having a heart attack because of the high caffeine content of the potion and permanently lose 2 hitpoints. And hey, another way to lose a finger: get it cut off by the trap during a failed attempt to pick a chest, thieving goes down 2-5 points until you regrow the finger.    - I'm astute, yeah.
Rendering has a very, very loose basis on real life, anyone who has used the tools can tell you that. In aerial and space based photography, however, a setting sun looks identical to a rising one.- 27 February 2006 - A Fairy Tale Part I - Growing Pains
Wouldn't that be a "walk in the garden"? Not yet, but when I find out I'll tell you what "nuff said". For the chronically "map challenged": Hey, that's the group the Falador update made me want to join (G.A.G.)  The one thing I hate about updates, good or bad, is that they always happen on Monday morning just before I leave for college, meaning that unless I take a day off and get a black mark on my record (yes, I get one even if I am legitimately ill) I will never be among the first to finish a new quest or see a new city skin or whatever   Oh well, life sucks, stay cool 8)- "Get A Life"
It's really a lot simpler. "Get a life"/"no lifer" has two translations: 1) "I am jealous of your levels in skill [x] so I will make myself feel superior by putting down your accomplishments." 2) "I want what you have given to me on a silver platter because I am too lazy to work for it like you did."- How many quests have you done (or left to do)
I have these left to do: Desert Treasure: Damis was easy, Dessous was easier, Kamil is ticking me off, haven't tried Fareed yet. Devious Minds: Looks easy, need Smithing levels, working on it when I can stand the BOREDOM! Arzanian mines is most effective, don't forget your Ring of Charos(u). Mournings Ends 2: With 57 agility? are you kidding? :D Not doing too bad for a character under 6 months old, whose player is attending college full-time. Edit: Haven't done the new quest...yet.- What (good) question would YOU ask a top 5 player?
What do you do in real life? What other games do you play online? What is your favourite outfit in rs and why? What is your favourite item in rs and why? What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? P.S.: For the ppl asking questions about RCing, here is an in-depth analysis of a self-supporting speed-rcing method I developed and am testing presently: http://home.cogeco.ca/~illuminati/RCPlan.htm P.S.: W66LC refers to the World 66 Law Company, who give away free laws and replacement noted ess to people who bring 27 unnoted ess to the law temple on Entrana.- Cooks are insane
Ever notice that it is possible to get a fractional point? When you are smelting gold ore, runecrafting, etc. is when it's most obvious. I would guess that it's possible that when 2 people have 200m xp in something, one has a higher fractional point, but that's just a guess. CHOMPY HATS RULE! :)- Most overlooked skill in RS?
Fiemaking. I make a lot of cash hi alching the stuff from the mort'ton crypts, and getting Splitbark armour made from the Fine Cloth. It's good even at level 65 folmer_veeman, as I get level 3 clues frequently from silver keys/chests gotten from yew pyre logs. Note that this also gets you a lot of prayer xp, also somewhat overlooked as the protection prayers can help you survive longer in hazardous situations, and thus have a better chance of profit. Lots of people are aware of farming being a good skill, just not willing to do the work. It's not a matter of opinion (i.e. views), it's the definition of a word. Maybe you should get a dictionary and keep it next to your computer when you post. It might help your spelling skill too, get it into double digit levels perhaps. Translation: u cud lurn hau tu tok rite.- How Do YOU Pronounce Ardougne?
Are down. As in "The servers Ardougne again." 8)- A sad statement about RuneScape
Materialism gone rampant.- Cooks are insane
Oops, thought I'd gone through them all. Fletchers are insane! I have proof!- Cooks are insane
I have proof! No other skill has that level of hiscores, the closest is attack and even the highest is under 90mil. This is proof positive that either cooks are insane or that cooking is the number one most profitable skill in the game!- How random are randoms?
I've always wanted to know just how evenly distributed the randoms are, so...how many of each random have you gotten? Here's my list: Frogs - 7 Mime - 3 MOM Box - at least 20 MOM Gift - maybe 10 Drill Sergeant - 0 (*cry*) Evil Bob - 2 Evil Bob Balloon Animals (Prison Pete) - 1 Rick Turpentine - 10-12 Evil Chicken - 9 Maze - 5 or 6 Tree Spirit - 5 Zombie - 10-12 Shade - 6-7 Certers - 4 Cap'n Hand - 5 Dr. J. - 6 Drunken Dwarf - I'm sure at least 30 Forester - never :( Genie - at least 10, probably closer to 15 Lost and found office - just once, yesterday Odd One Out (Quiz master) - never Sandwich Lady - 4 (way too often for a new and nasty, evil random) Swarm - 10 or so Strange Plant - at least 15 Tangle Vines - never (thank Guthix!) Dr. Ford - twice, and never since I passed level 50 mining Rock Golem - 5-6 Smoking Rocks - 5-6 Pickaxe falls apart - 6-8 Axe falls apart - 4-5 Farming tool falls apart - never River Troll - 2 Big Fish - 4-5 Whirlpools - 8-10 Fishing spot moves - 145146718 times (?) Ent - 6 Bird's Nest - 40-50 (?) Watchman - 3 Poison Cloud - 0 Pillory - 3 Cap'n Arnav - 3 Pious Pete - 0 Whew, forgot how many there really are! probably missed a few, too. - pure stupidity
