Basically, Jagex is alienating their own customer base. They've gotten a taste of what it's like to have money, and they don't care about anyone they consider "lower" than themselves. Well, good luck to you, Jagex, within a week or so I'll probably be on another game, taking my (real life) money with me if things continue the way they are going. Your company has become a textbook example of how to completely blow technical support and alienate your paying customer base.

The skellie/guird idea is a good one, but I have yet to be pked successfully since I started carrying an Ectophial. It takes only 1 space, as opposed to runes, is 1-click, and if I get teleblocked first (I don't know for sure if it blocks ectophial, it doesn't seem to) they don't have time to also get the snare in before I get to Zammy Mage. The one and only time I have come close to being pked with Ectophial was when I didn't use it immediately, but sometimes I really don't want to waste the time and 1 glory charge (to get back to Edgeville) it takes to start the run over again. Advice: Always have at least 1 antipoison in the bank, and KNOW where it is, it doesn't help you if you are poisoned, have 3 hp left, and can't find it. Don't forget to eat when you bank, if you took damage from pkers or abyss mobs. Talk to the Dark Mage before your pouches degrade, so you never lose capacity. If you get attacked, abort the run, better to live and lose nothing but time and have to recharge your glories a bit sooner. Of course, some of the fun of abby rcing is dodging the pkers and taunting them, and it sure relieves the boredom, but watch out, not all of them are useless noobish morons; there is the occasional good pker who is just bored, waiitng for someone else, or trying it out before a trip deeper into wildy for some serious pkling.

What's sad is not the guys pretending to be girls, but the guys who will give stuff to "girls" in the game (whether or not they are really girls doesn't matter). I have never asked for anything for free from anyone (except as a joke), and never wanted anything free, and I think I speak for most real females who play Runescape when I say, "I don't want anything from you, I can do this myself and don't need your help, and I'm probably better at it than most of you." I can guarantee you that almost every single "girl" who is looking for a "bf" in Runescape is a guy who is only after "fr33 st00f pl0x".

Never, ever use the same password on any forum as you use on http://www.runescape.com, especially if you have your username the same as your RS character. I have a different password not only for rs and tip.it, but for every game and forum and user account and especially administrator account on every computer I have access to.

Jagex needs to just have an item that is always exactly the same price no matter where you buy or sell it. Call it whatever, who cares? Just make it worth exactly 1m always to buy or sell at any general or specialty store. It would make storing huge fortunes and trading large sums of money a lot easier. Another possibility would be to have a few different "denominations", something lile this: Purple Trade Crystal 10m White Trade Crystal 100k

sorry for the double post but if they add white dragons they should be the weakest type (really white dragons are a joke amoung D&D players) Why? Why should Runescape be like D&D at all? Remember, RS dragons all breathe fire, regardless of colour, when was the last time you got poisoned by a green dragon, or covered in acid by a black dragon? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I think there should be purple and white dragons at the very least, but rather than beign able to make dhide armour that was the same as some other existing kind, make it have unbalanced, different stats, like...one give you better magic defense but worse magic attack (than black), and the other give you worse magic defense but slightly better ranged bonuses, or whatever.

What flavour are they now? I've been hoping for mint jelly. Maybe if we're lucky there will eventually be several different flavours to choose from, and add an equipment needed "jelly jar" that you can finish them off with. Then you just go kill some...uh...peanut monsters, also requiring jars, called "peanut butter jar", then you can use them for cooking, with bread, and....................nvm this is getting silly. :lol:

It was mildly annoying to have gone through over 200 nests (not from mole) and not gotten a single spirit tree, and then having a friend who never had seen a nest before get a spirit tree on her first nest. Oh well, luck of the drop (literally :) ). I'm not impressed that Wysin gives out not only nests that are totally empty, but also ones with lame seeds like potato; however, I am neither particularly impressed at how Jagex implemented this whole mole thing, it seems to me like they deliberately wanted to give high combat level Ritalin Rangers a way to get tree seeds, and nothing else.

OK, funny incident the other day, I am messing around with the EQ downloadable trial/tutorial, and some guy says to a beggar "go back to Runescape", so I pm him asking who his rs character is, and he goes "omfg you haxxor I'm not telling you your just gonna hax my account". Nonplussed, I reply to him that you can't hack someone's account from just knowing his username. After all, if you could, everyong would have been hacked by now. So I advise him to do a spyware check on his computer, and make sure his antivirus is up to date, etc. and use only a browser directly on http://www.runescape.com), and I get this stream of verbal abuse about how anyone can hack any account and blah blah blah. So I tell him, "ok go hack zezima right now", to which he replies "omg I am no haxxor I don't know how to do it". Makes me wonder how he is so sure that any account can be hacked just from the username, because if anyone would have been hacked by now it would be him. So I guess the point of this all is that your runescape account cannot be hacked (and I use this term very loosely) if you take adequate precautions, which have been detailed in many places on both Jagex's site and here, but I will repeat them in case anyone somehow missed it: 1) Never, ever give your password to anyone. 2) Never play Runescape on someone else's computer, especially one with public access like a library computer. You never know what is on it or if it is adequately protected. 3) Always have antivirus, antispyware and a software firewall updated and running on the computer you play rs with (the software firewall can be omitted if you have a hardware one). 4) Don't pee on pure sodium. Okay, well, the last one doesn't relate to Runescape but it's good advice anyway.

You cannot influence where or when you will get a "general" random like frogs. It took me what seemed like forever to get my first frog, and once I did, it took me almost as long to get the next one. Then, suddenly, a few minutes later I got my third one, doing exactly the same thing I was doing when I got my second one. Now they seem to appear a lot more frequently, I have destroyed a frog mask and 2 frog outfits to save bank space and still have 9 frog tokens in the bank. Getting frogs takes two things: patience and luck. Of course, you have to play, too...the longer you do, the greater your chance of getting them. This is where the patience comes in.

Finish the quest first, then you can do the treasure trail more easily.

OK... 1.) drop the budget-busting audio card, unless you are going to spend $200US or more on speakers the audio on your main board will be sufficient, or you can buy a decent budget audio card for $35. 2.) go single-core for the CPU, unless you plan to run Maya or Lightwave, or have streaming media playing alongside your games. The premium for dual-core isn't worth it, especially when you can buy a decent single-core CPU for slightly more than half the price, or less. When the next generation of CPUs comes out, the prices of today's hot proc's will plummet and in a year or so you will be able to get a FX-60 or better to replace this one without breaking the bank. 3.) Find a better vendor. The shop down the street might be conveniently located, but they also charge through the nose. You will get a much better computer for less money by ordering through the mail from a reputable vendor. 4.) Pour the money you save into a better video card, at the very least go for the 2-GPU-on-one-board 6600-based model from here: http://www.giga-byte.com/VGA/Products/Products_GV-3D1-XL.htm or something better.

You can get frog feet, but only from Mogres. Technically they are flippers, but when you wear the frog hat it fits. I agree, though, I'd like to have something else to do with my 9 frog tokens besides replace the frog suit, princess gown and hat that I destroyed to make bank space.

kinky - "full of kinks, tightly curled hair." The second definition is "weird, eccentric" So...what's wrong with that in a name? I certainly agree that the one runecrafter shouldn't be allowed to have a name that describes cruelty to cats, but that's another matter.
