The blocks themselves look nice. However, the text looks bad and you should make the background transparent. I would leave out text and crop the image to the size of the blocks.

They look nice, but the last three seem too blocky/grainy, and could use borders. You could also experiment with text, put it on paths and such.

You need to blend the render. Don't just stick it there and leave it. You could choose a better text color, too. Not bad for a first, though, I suppose.

He can't use "normal shading, just from light color till dark color" because he is using a limited palette... Umm... One thing that I don't like as well about the new version is the lack of dithering on his jaw. Another is the removal of the darker shade by the bottom of the tower.

I've never actually snowboarded, although I've skateboarded for a couple years now. I'm really bad at skating, so I don't know how I'd do at snowboarding. The closest I've come to snowboarding is trying to ride this plastic snow-skate thing that my mom bought for a couple dollars somewhere.

Nothing comes to mind that I would say I 'hate', at least not right now. I do dislike the recent ice/snow mix that came on Saturday. That's some scary stuff to drive on. Also, disrespectful kids. I almost think teachers should be able to punish kids like in the old days. I dunno.

I wouldn't recommend making the fire all blue, but I think it could be changed to an orange or something. I'm not especially liking how it is now, for some reason, but it's not a big deal.

It looks quite nice, except for the black lines. You might want to change them to a darker shade of the fill color.

I agree with Jlr. I don't like the swirly kind of background you've got there. I'm not sure how the render was originally, but it might look better for your character (Master Chief?) to be facing into the signature, instead of off to the side.

They're certainly not perfect, but I remember the days of the Graphics Marketplace when you were making a couple of these for competitions. Regardless of the fact that it's against the rules now, those were certainly good days.

Probably... I just threw it together in a couple minutes, and didn't even bother to center the text on the second one. Whatever. :?

I suppose you're right about the lens flare thing, but I actually kind of like reflections it makes over on the left. As for the neck issue, I don't think I did anything except moved and resized the knight, and I don't notice anything... :?: Thanks for the comments.

The colors on the second one seem a little bit too "weak" to me... pink, light orange, and such. :? Eh... Oh well, I think they're alright overall. What do you think?

I think that most rules are there for a good reason... I don't like having to work to get good grades, but I guess I have to. :? That's not really a rule, is it...? One thing I'll say is that elementary seems like torture, at least looking back on it. "Line Basics!!!" :)

I think I've seen that tutorial... Anyway, I don't think being nice is going to help. Your signature is pretty ugly. If you like doing it, though, don't give up. Just find some more guides, or take off on your own.

Thanks for the compliments... I know that the shading isn't very good. It's mostly because I'm very lazy, and don't want to bother with the dithering and thought that I should use.

The new nanos look kind of stupid, at least from the front. They look short and fat... The touch iPod seems cool, especially because of the WiFi capabilities.
