  1. Don't do the above. It's a sure fire way to royally piss people off-- especially if the remaining members get "stuck" in a dungeon because of it. Anyway, I guess I need to stay playing with more people who have 99 slayer, because I've never once seen a Soulgazer, and I'm 80 dung. Many 90+ dungeoneering vets are parts of various groups that keep lists of players who quit during dungeons. You do not want to end up on one of those lists if you want to still find quality team members. Speaking of the Soul Gazers, as I said I'm 220k off 88 and I've never seen one, and the teams I go with usually have at least two 99 slayer people. And these people themselves, many of whom are over 100 dungeoneering, have never seen one either. They are just extremely rare. I have never seen a soulgazer either but i think edimu soulgazers will be more common on the higher floors. =) I have never quit during a dungeon but i have never seen any of these "list" either but would like too though I do have a short mental list of bad people to team with.... thiers only a few times where I would have been better to quit a dungeon than stay with the group and one of the times is when they had barely any map at 30 mins in....was thinking of quitting during then and everyone quit b4 the 530 riftsplitter boss and me and this other dude were alone and 2 doors still unopen...1hr 40min waste =p most of the time you can speed up a slow group Thiers too many people that ragequit after dieing at levers or dieing to a combo from monsters if in begining a regroup is prob better but if its far in....its just annoying as that one or two deaths is not going to hurt your exp that much if your that far in...but thier is only one instance where a mime prevented us from completing boss so usually that one person doesnt effect the teams chance of completing dungeon unless a maxed player quits and noone else is maxed and noone else has the levels to find critical boss paths. I'm entirely sure you're ok leaving a team that thinks its wrong to gatestone, anyone that stupid won't have access to any list, with good reason.
  2. If you're referring to the "Zamorak pjed Zaros" bit of his signature, thats not from a quest, that's general Runescape lore.
  3. You won't be able to lend or trade a colored Dark Bow.
  4. Don't be afraid to leave a team that you think is going to severely slow you down, or cripple your xp. I actually had a party leader tell me "no gatestone or kick" I instantly knew my time would be better spent finding a team that knew the ins and outs of Dungeoneering rather than wasting my time there. I feel that in small dungeons, one tool holder is more than enough. However in a large dungeon, it can be hard to keep everyone coordinated, so I'd say at least a few people should be carrying the proper tools. As far as binding items goes, I can't recommend Sagittarian arrows enough, the whole bundle of 125 alchs for about 300k, meaning you should never have to worry about money for supplies such as food right before a boss. When binding items always take into account that it isn't too hard to find someone willing to make you a prome plate or spear, so if you find something fairly rare and want to try it out for a while, don't be afraid to get rid of one of your current binds.
  5. Weird glitch with agility cape and decorative legs. Couldn't get a decent picture of it, but you can see where the pants are a little stretchy there.
  6. Thought this was a pretty weird name to see in RuneScape. Have to wonder if she really is a Nascar mom. I'd also like to say that I very much approve of the rule changes made to this thread, and I honestly wish some of them applied to every thread. A step in the right direction for Tip.it as a whole in my eyes.
  7. A perfect opportunity to let us use helmets in Castlewars passed up. What a shame.
  8. Aw, my account was already classic enabled. Doesn't feel as cool anymore.
  9. Except...Its on your computer...Not to mention the fact that it in NO way influences gameplay of runescape. Modified or replacement versions of our game applets. Reverse-engineering our game applets is strictly prohibited. That is the only part it could break, and seeing what the cache actually is...well Wasn't expecting TIF to be *This* kiss arse to jagex, for their *exclusive* stuff, which is worthless anyway and doesn't tell us jack squat. Nothing personal jim, but I respectfully disagree with you. I know this is a bit off-topic, but I've been disappointed with tip.it ever since they proved they'll bend over backwards just to get on Jagex's stupid list. No disrespect to the staff of course, Tip.it remains my favorite Runescape fansite, I just have a little less respect for it now.
  10. Raise the tower in the middle again, the button upstairs should be powered after that. to raise it i just need to get the 3 sq big block to the highest machine again? Yep.
  11. It seems like in the cache there's a body made out of whatever the next quest's material is. However I'm pretty sure I can't post it here. All posts containing a picture of it were just deleted from the picture thread. Raise the tower in the middle again, the button upstairs should be powered after that.
  12. 1/10 I've never seen you before. Probably because I haven't hit up forum games in like three years.
  13. how about this smart-[wagon] -.- That wasn't necessary at all. You could have informed him of that tweet without being a jerk about it.
  14. I think I would enjoy a complete reset of the game. As far as things being removed from the game goes, obviously the trade limit, and a far less popular idea, the removal of the grand exchange. I'd like to think that if I came into Runescape today, knowing nothing about it, it would still seem as wondrous and different as when I first started playing.
  15. Oh man, I'm hoping someone can say this one or twenty more times. Its such a good point it needs to be said every other post.
  16. Willing to bet Mod Kathy is the kind of person who wouldn't even think about playing runescape. "God I hate this job, have to keep these stupid kids in line for this stupid game."
  17. Being a studly male myself I seem to have the same problem with the opposite sex. I think you'll find that on members worlds you hardly run into players like that. But since anyone can just stroll into a f2p world you're going to find morons out the wazoo who think the perfect way to pick up a girl online is to tell them they have a hot pixel body. If you want to find some more mature friends to play with, you might want to try some of the clan chats hosted by tip.it members, like Lady Heinous, or Codguy.
  18. As far I see it, if a free to player gets 99 in a skill, they deserve a skillcape. However, skillcapes are part of the benefit of being a member, an incentive if you will to become one. Now I know people say they wouldn't become a member just to get a skillcape, but its not like that's your only incentive, it's just one thing in a very long list. Each little thing can weigh on the scale of pros and cons of becoming a member, and skillcapes may just tip the scale for some people.
  19. The whole dilemma with this debate is that there is no clear definition of a skill in Runescape. The whole skill may be structured like a mini-game, but its not like it has to fit some qualifications to be considered a skill. I will admit it seems like Jagex had been working on a fairly large mini-game and decided to label it as a skill to hype it up and/or get more people to play it. Who knows, if Castlewars or Stealing Creation were considered skills, you would probably see a great deal more players involved in them. I'm guessing this stemmed from the fact that Mobilizing Armies was such a huge failure. Even if something is terrible, you can get people to play it just by adding some incentive, in this case more levels towards ones total level. However, I quite enjoy Dungeoneering, and think it would have been popular had it been a skill or not.
  20. Well, whatever the case, welcome to tip.it. I'm not sure but you might want to try posting this thread here to get a few more people to join you. Posting this kind of thing here will just result in a mod moving it.
  21. I was simply giving her some advice, once you turn 21 you don't join some secret club where you get to shun anyone younger than you. Acting like that won't get you anywhere. A great deal of my runescape friends are teenagers and that's ok with me because they're mature and I enjoy spending time with them. As you may well know during your teen years you don't enjoy being treated like a child, so having someone tell you that "they don't want to have to play mommy" with you can probably be a bit frustrating.
