  1. Yeah, that could be, I was also thinking it could be due to HD. Although I dont consider my geforce 8600GTS to be outdated tbh :P
  2. This was the first i discovered a few weeks ago while on a farm run: (Location: Troll Stronghold) Back then it had a distinct purple colour, instead of the faint green colour now, I didn't think much of it and put it down as a graphical bug but then someone posted on the Post your pictures thread this: (URL) Which got me thinking again, but it wasn't until i went to train smithing two days ago that it made me think it was maybe something more than just a bug: (Location: Varrock west bank) The colour from that one has changed as well, it used to be more distinct but i didn't take a picture of it until today. My question is: Has anyone seen more of these on different locations and what could they be besides just bugs? I don't expect them to be meaningful tbh, I just like to know if there are more of them.
  3. Notice "Line" "Weight" "hook" and "bait" How the hell does that constitute the new cabbaging skill, or FTP3?! I mean c'mon people. Rub that flipping half braincell you have left and start being a bit cleverer. With the majority of you being American it really doesn't help with people going "AMG NEW SKILL!!@!@!@!@!" or something and really doesn't help your stereotype of being well...... I'll let you figure it out, but it's not good. To those of you who do have more than half a briancell then :) hmm this could be an interesting update. It does sound like it could be something to do with the fishing guild or something. However....... Isn't saying "out on a line and APOLOGIES" grammatically incorrect? Shouldn't it be "out on a line and APOLOGISE"........ And also notice the word "wait" is spelled "weight"....... So..... maybe a new fish perhaps that could be quite heavy? But I doubt that as LRC haven't been out too long with their new fish. Oh and Omali you made me laugh xD that's epic! ORLLY? Also notice that the correct sentence would be "We couldn't think of bait to hook you with." instead of "We couldn't think of hook to bait you with." But thanks for stating the obvious, i appreciate it :D
  4. Fishing update! call me crazy, but im thinking new skill... /edit: but yeah it blatantly spells fishing update, but meh i just have a feeling ;)
  5. This is a really good idea, I hope someone will bring this idea to jagex' attention.
  6. hahaha! youre one of the first to find that i bet, never seen it come up anywhere :D
  7. nice cos the knowledge base article clearly wasn't enough proof :) /edit: sorry for the sarcasm btw guess im a bit grumpy =p That wasn't there last time I visited the page  they updated it with the update on monday :)
  8. nice cos the knowledge base article clearly wasn't enough proof :) /edit: sorry for the sarcasm btw guess im a bit grumpy =p
  9. Guess that means i was right :P (hate to say i told you so? ;))
  10. please tell me he got slayer first lol
  11. It teled there, i just decided to go after it :P I had a spare hour in between farm runs so i decided to kill some imps for it. But yeah i always killed every imp i saw, until now that is :D
  12. Woohoo! really excited i got that :D
  13. btw, don't expect the reward (if any) to be significant: http://[Use Quick Find Code]/sl=0/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?15,16,169,60593562,goto,11 (it's in the 3rd post from mod maz)
  14. i dont believe this is true, i think the amount of rolls is independent of the amount of people present at a certain spot
  15. a solution for that has already come up: a bonus experience cap instead of a decreasing bonus multiplier. This way you dont have to worry about getting as much exp in as short a time possible, you can just relax and do any skill you like because everyone gets the same amount of total bonus experience.
  16. Keep one inventory spot open and see what happens :P I had been keeping spots open. Also uh, there's coal involved so more spots kept opening due to the coal getting used up. At any rate, I'm currently sick of Smithing and should probably find something else to do. Awww, then that just blows :-/ It worked for me when smelting gold ore though, 300k experience: no rocks, open slots: both rocks within 3 loads
  17. Has been somewhat of a longterm goal for me, and finally finished :D
  18. Keep one inventory spot open and see what happens :P
  19. 0.o Really? Never heard of it personally (i think :s).
  20. Well seeing this is aimed towards players who *just* make their first steps in rs (literally) i have to say it seems to be a good and well balanced update. It's nothing ground breaking or innovative though, its just your average hack and slash dungeon but i see the merits of it for the earliest of players. The mask is a nice reward for a lvl 20-odd player and they learn the combat triangle along the way (lets just hope people will pay attention to that though ;)). About the 300qp reward; im undecided as of yet. I guess it looks kinda neat but with what does it fit, as of now it's just a stand alone item which i won't be wearing sadly. It wouldn't be too outrages if it had better stats than helm of neitiznot (seeing that's a quest reward as well), but instead it's stat-less. I'll keep it for the time being...
  21. wasnt it adjusted to the *10 update?
  22. The idea itself wasn't a problem, they just didn't think about how unfair the difference is between "normal" skills and summoning (and to some extend herblore). Because the major part of summoning is charm gathering and not the actual lvling (they intentionally made it that fast) they should have made the bonus apply to charm drops, not to the gained experience. This somewhat proofs they don't full understand how things work in rs otherwise they would have taken measures against it as it's unbalanced. I am VERY critical about this and hope they will learn from it. But, this doesn't mean the idea was failed. It was a very good community event and it really felt like one, seeing that was the main purpose i have to say they accomplished this greatly. Although for the future some changes need to be made. Either remove skills that can be prepared beforehand from the bonus multiplier or (and this is my favorite) make an experience cap instead of a decreasing multiplier, this way everyone gets the same amount of bonus exp and everyone will have had a fair choice where to use it on. /edit: I forgot to mention that normal bonus multipliers should stay in affect for future bonus weekends but should not stack. This is for the people that just want to keep doing their regular training (like gilded altar training) and aren't bothered with the bonus multiplier. I'm going to assume they disabled these because of technical difficulties though.
  23. Well seeing its about to end i guess this is my final score: 82 --> 85 farming 70 --> 75 runecrafting 71 --> 74 Fishing (and a craft (71 -->72) and con (70 --> 71) lvl along the way :P)
  24. That was Xena the warrior princess though :P But yeah i immediately thought about her as well. Some interesting thoughts on rsof: 1. Seeing the weird bug where you seem to get bonus experience from buying/selling at general shops, this might be a leak of a merchant skill (yes i said it...) this somewhat ties in with xenia seeing she's a merchant. (I don't expect this to be true) 2. It might be an achievement diary, which is highly debatable as well but shouldn't be left out
