  1. Somehow, a mage armour consisting of tattoos and a loincloth disturbs me. Sounds more like a warrior thing than a mage thing.
  2. Well, considering elemental runes don't cost that much, I don't think it would unbalance anything. The main runes that cost money are the core runes... chaos, deaths, bloods, etc. Just simply giving you elemental runes for free won't change too much. Mages already use up a lot of money for those runes, so a little take-off of the elemental runes won't hurt.
  3. Not good. There is no valid way to make sure people don't abuse this function.
  4. Looked up this topic and made a stupid subclass thing... Beginner - Warrior - Squire - Knight - Archknight - Page - Paladin - Crusader - Spearman - Dragon Gladiator - Dragon Hero - Ranger - Archer - Hunter - Hawker - Crossbowman - Sniper - Sharpshooter - Javelinist - Dragon Skirmisher - Dragon Beserker - Mage - Magus - Wizard - Archmage - Summoner - Necromancer - Arcane Sorcerer - Enchanter - Elementalist - Sage - Thief - Wanderer - Assassin - Ninja - Stalker - Shadower - Night Road - Rogue - Bandit - Chief Bandit - Acolyte - Cleric - Priest - Bishop - Shaman - Chaos Monk - Chaos Prophet - Naturalist - Druid - Elder Druid This would never be implemented in Runescape, of course... it doesn't fit, anyways. Just a stupid idea. =/
  5. I might want to change my name to Toxicologist... yeah, Toxicologist isn't the name of my main. >
  6. Also rather unpractical... ships are too big, and likely there would be many people sailing if that happens...
  7. Dragon boots... not too enthusiastic about it... Now dragonhide boots, that's a suggestion. =)
  8. Lol, don't ignore your mom. Sounds like punning.
  9. Firstly, monks aren't supposed to wear hoods... why do you think they shave their heads? Supposingly, it's to keep your sensory organs clear, so you can "see" things clearly in a mental way. A hood completely undermines that idea... plus hoods are normally associated with darkness, and monks aren't that (chaos monks are chaos, not darkness... chaos can be light you know, like fire). A like the part about dark wizard hood though... seriously, why do they drop hats when they wear hoods? =/ But won't that make dark wizard robes look a lot like Ahrim's robes?
  10. So the idea is that you absorb energy from your armour... well, sounds a bit wrong... A stave can give an element because magic is fired out of it (although Runescape mages don't do that ><), but armour... you don't fire magic out of armour, do you? Unless it's a mana shield, of course.
  11. Yeah... I suppose knock-back will make wind more of a defensive attack than anything else... =/
  12. Get new mage armour... Similar to Mystics with good magic offense: Magic robes, Battle robes, and you think about their stats and levels... Similar to Splitbark with good defense: Elemental Armour (made from elemental ores), dragonbone armour, and you think about stats and levels... Just providing some names. =)
  13. Just by reading these posts, you can see what strange stories people will, throwing away all dignity, make up about how poor they are and how much they deserve that money because fate has been bad to them... All people who make up these stories of sympathy DO NOT deserve 10 million cold pieces (alright you may not be making your stories up, but that doesn't justify you getting that cash). Most people who post here already have decent skills and can make money if they want to, or already have a decent savings. So give your money to low levels who cannot make decent money... get iron, leather and runes and hand them out in Lumbridge... Or donate it to Tip.it...
  14. If you ask me, anyone here who are trying to prove they deserve it don't really deserve it. No offense, peoples, but that's the truth. By the way, that includes me too, so there you go. Just help new players with it... or, donate it to Tip.it... give it to those people who really really need help, or who actually has done something to benefit this community. *Sigh* there I go, repeating myself again... but I just feel like I have to, otherwise my point will not be emphasised...
  15. How about... fire is lowers attack/strength/ranged/mage a little... (50% is way to high, even for 5 seconds, because you keep hitting the enemy) And earth is a [bleep]e coming out of the ground and stays for a few seconds as an obstacle... Water/Ice is freeze, as you said; but we already have an ice spell... so maybe water should be "splash"... does a bit of area damage. Wind will be knock-back... there is a chance that the enemy will go back a few steps in the opposite direction the blast hit him/her/it... But these are my ideas. You might even get new elements, like lightning... perhaps it could slow (paralyse) the enemy down?
  16. Lol, this topic sure has attracted many people aye? Well, nobody can say no to that much money... frankly, I want it very much too, but yes if you wish to put your money to good use, I suggest you use it to help new players. For they are the ones who need the most, and by doing so you help JAGex keep more customers. I do have an annoying habit of repeating myself, don't I?
  17. If I were you and I don't want all that gold pieces (which is impossible), I would simply use it to buy lots of low level stuff like full steel, full mithril, gold bars, food... etc., and go to Lumbridge and hand it out for free to the low levels there. That way, not only you get many thanks and feel good, you're also helping JAGex attract people to play Runescape (or keep new players playing), and you must remember, it is JAGex who made the game. Therefore you should use your money to help new players, and thus, indirectly, help JAGex, who made this game for all of us to enjoy.
  18. Very very nice. I offer you my compliments.
  19. It would not, for a meditating player would not be able to do anything unless they stop meditating. Also, as nobody in their ring mind would sit down, cross their legs and close their eyes and let their mind wander off to far-away relams in a place as dangerous in the wilderness, you should not be able to use this emote in the wilderness. Also, if you get attacked, you will automatically end the emote.
  20. There is a lot of things wrong with that signature... I'll try pointing them out. For one thing, everything in that picture are almost independent of each other: The mage doesn't seem to be reacting to his surroundings (he's looking in a wierd direction), and the way the ranger and warrior is reacting is... well, again, strange. There are a lot of problems with the proportionality and dimensions in the picture... the characters are proportioned properly with the background, and there is something wrong with the "3D" effect... somehow they look like they are merely flat pieces of cardboard turned on an angle towars the viewer. Another problem would be the expressions on the characters... they are rather blank, considering the situation they are in. Also, plate armour is rigid, not soft and bendable like leather, so I don't think you would be able to see much muscles through it: unless that was already ingraved on the armour, though I doubt it. Overall though, good job with the colouring and shading. It was rather well done.
  21. For one thing, many of your prayers are overpowered. For another, I would like to suggest something about prayers too: Prayers that boosts range and magic. There are prayers for defense, strwngth and attack, so why not ranged and magic?
  22. Wells, apersonal objection: runes should be carried in pouches and bags, not boxes. =) And how do you judge the value of a box? Is it by the runes it contains, or merely the box as itself?
  23. If you do so, that means that as long as your staff is safe (which, for me at least, is nearly always the case), then you would not lose any runes for dieing at all. Also losens up some inventory space...hmm, good idea, but I'm sure warriors and rangers will start whining if this gets into action. And if this gets into free players, then... well, you can imagine.
  24. If you wish to restore energy, then just make an emote sit. = =" Oh, and maybe make it so that is becomes more effective when you are actually using a chair. Meditation is the relaxation of the mind and body: but mostly the mind. So if such an emote is going to have a special effect, it would be to restore prayer. By the way, if you are to make these "stat restore" emotes, maybe make them so they keep going until you click the button again to stop it? As both sitting and meditating takes an ample amount of time, not just do it for a few seconds and get up...
  25. Sounds like a very nice idea. =) If there is such a thing, my text would be: The Master of Toxins. Or maybe... His intrests lies in poisoning random people and watching them die slowly, screaming in agony, desperately seeking death which they cannot find anytime soon...
