I have. And I'm targeting the battle idea only, so don't bring the fishing idea on me. But if you want, I can give you my opinion on that too... We already have a fishing trawler minigame. What more do you want?

Lord... I never agreed... This is almost exactly the same as castle wars, except on boats. And it practically makes all classes except mages useless, as if one team is full of mages they can just keep setting the opposing boat on fire, and the other team would be busy estinguishing them and have no time for anything else. So it's basically mage world. Not to mention the lag it would create... people running around is one thing, but something as big as a boat moving around? The lag...

Erm you put me on the support list... I said it sounds good, but will cause major lag, so no. For fishing we already have, as someone stated before, a fishing trawler... and I don't see why you would want sea battles, as it seems to extend the Wilderness to all the seas... For transport, we already have transport ships... Unless you want piracy? But then we can just teleport... Good idea, but impractical in terms of use and lag.

Economy Issues?
the idea was a counter, so after 100 trades it's untradable. That way people know how many times can this be traded, and the final owner is one who wants it for looks instead of money. This isn't my idea, it's someone else's. And it's not unfair, since people know jhow many times it can be traded until it is not. So it's their own choice.

Well, these spells are way too expensive to be practical, and therefore any mage who wants to make a profit won't be using them, like Malo2 said... But what about a rich mage who just wants to kill for fun, with no regards for expenses? Then those spells would still own everyone... Even rangers. The extra magic defense won't aid them much against such powerful spells. Look at Ancient Magicks.

Personally I favour ropes and a blunt knife to a sniper rifle. Or, even better, a bottle of slow-acting poison.

Economy Issues?
Personally, I believe the solution to holiday drops is not to introduce more to the game... but to slowly, eventually, maker them untradable, as to someone's idea before (can't remember who) about let every holiday drop have a counter on it, and each time it is traded add one to the counter, and once the counter is 100 or something it cannot be traded anymore (untradable). This idea can subdue a lot of uproar while slowly pulling the rug out under holiday rares. The rares trader idea... well, read the paragraph above. =) For money sinks, I believe POHs with rents could soften it up a bit, but that's not coming too soon anyway. You could also make normal armours eventually, after use, get "damaged" (like the barrows armour and crystal bow does) and lose efficiency... that might help a bit also... And Malo2, seriously; most of your posts on these forums are rather uncontributive to the point of stating it yourself... if you get my meaning.

Even if Runescape does not die out (which is likely the case), they will eventually create/use a new game engine for Runescape so it can support better graphics, etc. From what I am seeing, there are two paths for Runescape: Fade (like RS Classic), or Reborn (into a game powerful enough to challenge the major gaming world).

Little nitpick about Bows
Or make the weapon and shield slots into right hand and left hand slots, so people can choose which hand they wish to hold weapons/shields. This would also help the idea of dual wielding.

No way. Because what if someone did a ban appeal and succeeded? And if you gain items when someone is banned, that might encourage people to become "report happy".

But if you can only take out X2 your money, then making a new account you only get... something like 100 gp? Won't work. The assassin idea is supposed to make it harder or even impossible to do certain things, such as PKing (like every 5 minutes an assassin pops up to kill you).

*shrug* Damage will be just as the pattern for normal mage attack spells goes, like plus 1 damage for each level up. So Wind Disruption would be 21, Water 22, Earth 23, Fire 24. Also, always assume the most logical explaination, and I believe mine is the most logical.

Nice ideas. I would expect the disruption spells to be a ultimate level spell, more powerful than wave spells; and the abyssal runes a higher level rune after blood runes. However, personally I think it is unneccessary. Unlikely people will use them anyway. The emotes are good though.
