  1. Yes they do, but why do you care? JAGeX staff have gold crowns next to their names in the chatboxes.
  2. I did mention they should be self-assignable.
  3. I meant the price cap thing. JAGeX cannot enforce it. As said before, players can just evade it by... whatever he said. And how exactly does rares mess up the economy? What is your idea of a good economy then?
  4. No, they shouldn't have to pay more. If that's the case no one would use it, and those who do will continue to use non-official ones; and JAGeX doesn't really have much power in terms of banning (I don't see botters and autoers getting banned when they're reported... I still see them all the time).
  5. JAGeX doesn't have enough power to enforce player prices, neither have they the right to do so (in a sense). That is the way the economy goes, and to stop it means to halt 90% of growth in Runescape all together. Besides, they can't anyway.
  6. Stop these stupid horse topics. My opinion: no. Lag. Use search button.
  7. This is getting too off-topic. Stop this silly conversation. I disagree with mage combos, because one: it is not very sound in terms of logic and gameplay, and two: it is excessive. Someone also stated it would make magic too powerful: personally I don't think so, since to me it sounds like a stupid idea; but I do belive it makes magic too spread-out... if you know what I mean. Too much excessive stuff, while other classes barely have so much.
  8. I would say neither yay or nay. My situation with this new "mini-game" is totally neutral. You want it, put it in for all I care. No? Well it wasn't too necessary either, no difference.
  9. Don't - call - people - noobs - for - no - reason. Need I spell that out?
  10. In Maple Story, it is possible to "autotype" officially: that is, you can repeat what you typed before. You can't do it for more than seven times though... then you have to type it up again.
  11. A scimitar has a more wicked-looking blade, allowing it to slice cleanly into the flesh of the victim, as the soothing sound of bones cracking and tendons ripping fill the air, working harmoniously with the blood-curdling shrieks of the victim into the music all Pkers learn to love and lust for... as his life blood splash onto your skin, robes and lips, warm and pulsating; tasting as sweet as nectar, swiftly melting into the tongue... ahh... a taste no one could ever forget...
  12. And food-eating, prayer-using and potion-drinking. Personally I don't think much of the item equiping part, but that is because I am against hybrids.
  13. Well I don't think so... if the victim isn't bright enough to know a moderator cannot ask for your password, they won't know that mods have crowns next to their names.
  14. Well, most low level players don't just go on a fan site before they even play, so I don't think you have helped much.
  15. JAGeX doesn't like party hats, remember? And who said they have to look similar?
  16. I don't see too much practicality here.
  17. Or just use combination runes for them. Yay! Finally a use for combination runes!
  18. Well, I don't see anyone quitting Runescape because World One is too laggy, so why should they put the effort into doing the detail switch thing?
  19. Like someone suggested, use WordPad. No riding animals. No way. No. Think about the lag. I've heard about a suggestion on ships that involve defending Miscellania from pirates (after the Throne of Miscellania quest of course), and I thought it was quite good. Personally owned ships though? You got the Lady Lumbridge. Better graphics on a weak Java engine will knock you off the servers. You don't pay, so why should they encourage people to not pay? Lord...
  20. It is, many times, so why bother posting at all?
  21. The only drink I want Runescape doesn't have... is water!!! Heck, you should be able to drink jug-fulls of water!!! How on earth do Runescapians live without it??? (Yes I know, in mediveal times they drink ale instead of water as water is often polluted and dangerous... but Runescape isn't based on any time period, is it?)
  22. First, no. Think of the lag, and it really isn't that needed. Coal trucks and toy horsies. Meep!
  23. Heh. Crowns for males and tiaras for females or something. Not much point, but then there isn't much point for differently coloured gloves or mystic robes. You could also, apart from elemental crowns/tiaras, make decorative crowns/tiaras made of gold and jewellery. Perhaps make them enchantable? Well, maybe not; but as decoration anyway.
  24. Take a look at what happens to other old MMORPGs, and you get a general idea of what would happen to Runescape. Lineage into Lineage II, Diablo into Diablo II, who-knows-how-many-versions of Everquest, etc. Heck, even Runescape had undergone one of these evolutions: Runescape Classic into Runescape II. Before the full fading of RUnescape happens, JAGeX would've made another game, maybe not a "Runescape III", but something similar in genre. By how JAGeX is making money at this point, I would be suprised if they don't have the ability to make a better game right now if they want.
  25. Once again, why should JAGeX update free players when we don't pay? And anyways, fighting monsters isn't really my type of thing... PKing is. Although I suppose that members have lots of monsters worth fighting for... but meh. I suggest you run for cover. I sense flaming coming on.
