  1. It might, but it also makes you respond faster and ultimately able to kill people more easier (you can quickly cast spells such as entangle, blood, teleblock, or use weapon specials and stuff), so it sort of evens it out.
  2. As most of you know, many MMORPGs have "hotkeys" so you can assign certain items/actions to keys on your keyboard, and perform/use just by pressing a key. One thing I have realised about Runescape is the lack of hotkeys: this becomes more obvious when you PK, especially in members PKing when things happen way faster. For example, let us say you are a mage Pking in deep Wilderness. You see a target. Well, you first need to go to your inventory and pot up, then go to your spellbook, click on "Teleblock" and click on your opponent, then click on "Entangle" and repeat, then open your prayer box and use the respective prayers, then click on the enemy and start attacking and switching back to inventory to start eating. Annoying, I should think; and also wastes precious time which can result in defeat or even death. What I am suggesting is that Runescape implement the idea of hotkeys: you can assign an action (like Entangle, Teleblock, Teleport, Use Weapon Special, Run) or an item (like potions, food) to a key, so when you click that key you automatically execute the action or use the item. This means your character will be able to react faster when in tight situations like PKing. A bonus to this idea is to make certain hotkeys perform certain emoticons (idea taken from Maple Story), such as F1 is Scared, F2 is Joy-Jump, F3 is Goblin Bow, etc. Hopefully this would encourage the use of emoticons more. Summary: Implement assignable hotkeys into Runescape. 3. The only thing I want added to RS chatboxes is Buddy Chat, Clan Chat, Team Chat.
  4. Well I suppose being able to weave mage robes and then enchanting them with magic would be nice. Elemental attacks might be a bonus I suppose. Potatoes are secondary, they aren't too important anyway. I agree with the flaws of the crafting guild and the cooking guild. Yes, they should be expanded on a bit, especially the cooking guild. Jugs might be additions to pottery, but the cake tin is uneccessary: it is not a container object, you only need one to make cakes. No, we shouldn't be able to make gilded armour: it is meant to be a symbol of wealth and luck. It will make them worthless. I support: tailoring, cook/crafting guild extension, elemental advantages, craftable jugs with pottery. I object: cake tin crafting, gilded/trimmed armour crafting and free player potatoes.
  5. It should have slightly less magic attack bonus than Mystics but more than Splitbark, with higher physical defense than it. So sort of a higher level mage armour (not robes... mage robes give lots of magic attack, while mage armour gives medicore mage attack with good physical defense).
  6. This should be at Help and Discussions board. But here goes... You don't start the quest at the goblin generals. You start it int the pub at Port Sarim.
  7. This has being suggested many times, but anyways... *Signed ~Toxicologist~

  9. Virtual Reality Runescape? Lol, nice thought, but too bad it won't happen in the near future. I would like it to though... Incidentally, if you can feel pain in VR Runescape, how many people will still want to play? I know I will still. =P They won't do that of course (for legal, commercial and ethical reasons), but what if?
  10. Did JAGeX say, "Ok we made a world called world 1 just for trading so it should have lots and lots of people"? No, JAGeX didn't create world one and told people to flock to it. It is players who flock there automatically. So no, JAGeX doesn't need to compensate for something not of their doing.
  11. I doubt the amount of whining on teleport and praying will lessen though, as most PKers who whine about it aren't honourable at all... they are just sad.
  12. Don't make hardleather then. Why are you doing it? If you want experience, switch to silvercrafting when you can; much better experience.
  13. 3K in less than an hour? That isn't really all that much... = =" Personally I mine coal and iron, smith steel plates and high alchemy them. Yes I know not the best money-maker, but I need the experience to mining and smithing.
  14. It is only a minor error, and not so much of an error at that. Just because a shop is out of stock doesn't mean they can't set a price still.
  15. I don't know whether I should laugh or cry. Maybe I should just go back and lure more noobs to Wine of Zamorak. ps3guy1 seems like a great choice.
  16. I hope this means people who whine about teleporting won't be so enthusiastic to continue their campaign, or that they will or go to the hardcore servers and leave the teleport-happy people alone. 'Tis what they want, isn't it? Honourable, hardcore PKing...
  17. Speaking of elemental armours, I think there should be an Elemental Armour Set... it is like a higer level to Splitbark, made of Elemental Ores... you know, the material you make elemental shields with?
  18. Hey hey, I may sound noobish when I say this: do MMORPGs get made into consoles? Do you see Lineage II, MU Online, Maple Story, Diablo II, Tibia, Fly For Fun, Ragnarok, ROSE Online, Seal Online... etc, get made into consoles? I think not. No, I don't believe PC based MMORPGs get made into consoles, espeically one like Runescape. If they do so, It would be a different game based on the same genre (like Starcraft and Starcraft: Ghost).
  19. Make superheat able to cook things to... or burn logs, instead of making sperate spells... rename it "burn" or something...
  20. Exactly. Which is why I think firemaking should be taken out of the game. No, I didn't say you couldn't make fires or burn shades anymore! Just no more level requirements on doing the action.
  21. *Fishing* Oh dear no range nearby! Let me make a fire *Lights logs* Hey! I just saved the time of going back to a range to cook my food and therefore I can make money by selling food faster! Or... *Burn shades* W00t!
  22. Sounds like a weapon along the same lines as a wooden shield. Maybe you could give new players that instead of a shortbow. =P
  23. Since we could only see a few metres before us in Runescape anyway, a mist would be unecessary.
  24. Invisibility Level: 92 Magic Cost: 5 Souls, 10 Chaos, 1 Law Effect: Caster becomes invisible and practically invincible for fifteen seconds. This spell has a cooldown time of 5 seconds. Detectable with Ring of Visibility (only to the wielder). Animation: Caster turns purple and fades. Reverse for appearing. Detection Level: 88 Magic Cost: 5 Minds, 2 Souls, 1 Law Effect: Reveals all invisible players around you (cancels their spell, affects self). You can also use it to track people (type in someone's name, and you get his world and location). Animation: Blue sparkling stars circles you at a fast speed.
  25. Most gems are hard, yes; but then so is glass. Like glass though, gems are also brittle. No, it isn't a good idea realistic-wise or game-wise. Remember the arrow-thieves rant too.
