Games are too short to be using the barrows effects.

Go camp at fire giants with a few sets of guthans and see what happens. Im shure its possible to get 1m+ fire runes from drops.

Leesters made a post a while back that 20-30kc greatly increases your chance of an item as opposed to 10-20kc. He proved it with facts. I agree with that part, but I believe the direction of whats happening and whats going to come far outweighs that. But I dont support loss of profits from pking. Remember, it doesnt make pking any less risky for the person who is being pked. Most people can afford many sets of rune, etc. Getting a fighter torso/rune defender/barrows gloves, etc. is, in my opinion, much more annoying than spending a measly 55k on a new rune item. However, I think jagex will probably come up with a solution to fix it. One possible solution I was thinking of that I think jagex should consider is some sort of "ticket" that drops instead of the actual item. You could take this ticket to a certain person, and they would exchange it for money (preferably 55k or so). That would help bring back pking profits and keep the risk intact.

The reason jagex made the fighter torso (and so many other excellent combat items) untradable is because they rather have players work for their items. With the barrows gloves, rune defender, fighter torso and more, jagex decided that, instead of buying everything they own, players would now have to spend time obtaining it. They most likely considered that it would lessen the profits of pking, but they opted that too many players would simply "buy their way through the game". Instead, they would rather have players spend their time obtaining what they could potentially loose. In other words, pking has now become more of a loss (time-wise) of the pked, and less of a gain for the pker. I believe that jagex's decision was wise concerning untradable items. Being rich is beginning to have less benefits then it did before (you can't buy a fire cape). I assume jagex chose this direction because, eventually, players' ultimate goal won't be making millions through merchanting, it will be obtaining rare, powerful untradable armor (like most mmorpgs). I strongly believe that many more of these items are to come.

Its a loss of about 55k, and for pro pkers getting 30+ kills a day, its a 1m+ loss. It'll definitely have a negative impact on profit from pking. Alot of other gear has somewhat ruined profits, like rune defenders, barrows gloves, etc. Im preety shure the responses will be unanimous.

I honestly dont think treasure hunting was big, it was more of a pastime. It was never really profitable either, and it still isnt with the new stuff (3a chances are 1/10000). Not really much to debate.

Most people quit hard drugs because they really arent fully addicted. Ciggarettes are much easier to obtain then meth or heroin. Its much easier to get addicted to cigarrettes because they are more available, just go to quick check or 7-11. If you took heroin/meth as regurally as cigarettes (youd die, obviously), but you would be much more addicted to the hard drugs if they didnt kill you. Not to mention, cigarrettes are much more convinent.

I have a question about the new season spoiler warning Fayed was in the building when the bomb was detonated. In the preview for the next episode, it shows fayed... living? Am i misunderstanding, and was Fayed somewhere else? because i thought he gave the instruction to detonate it... im confused.

Yep, i know other people get killed off in other seasons, i just mentioned it as a little hint of whats to come, if they haven't seen it yet :wink:. I kinda took Chloe as one of those established characters who never goes away until they decide to quit the show in real life.

There are no wimps in basketball.. 99% of players are "hardcore getto" people who carry guns on them when there not on the court. They preety much all grew up in poor, inner city areas where their fathers desert them and their mothers are always working. Alot of them got in fights and were probably beat up etc. I know this has nothing to do with physical pain, but they shure are emotionally tough. However, this is part of the reason i dont like basketball. they bring their ghetto-ness on the court.
