I wouldn't know from experience, but statistics say Verac would be easiest since his armor has the lowest melee defense.

I'll have to check this out once I get some smithing levels, I heard it's very useful for smithing addy and mith bars (half the coal ftw)

A lot of people just hang out and high alch in Dharoks/Karils tombs at barrows...I've heard lurers/looters at Dk's are a problem also. The most I see (of looters), though, is always at clan wars...there are always 20+ level 3's just waiting there for in hope of some loot.

Scimmy...I've tried both out at the duel arena many times over, and speed + defender always wins.

The implementation of the rule will stop a good number of small, part-time lurers, but as for people who make their money from luring and do it a lot (the majority or lurers)...they'll easily find ways around the rule and will not stop.

I see what you mean, but I think something reflecting the general immaturity of most players would be more fitting (I don't really see the community as "ridiculous" in nature). Btw, you spelled suit wrong. A "suite" is a number of things forming a series or a set...not an outfit.

Gl on your goal, but just to let you know, the store has a slot for d stones but never stocks them - they are only there if another player sells one to the store.

I wouldn't attempt it if I were you, I was at the barrows recently and I accidently clicked mage protect instead of melee protect (on verac) and both melee and mage were lit up but mage was still on (i.e. - it's still quite buggy).

I bet there are hundreds left on old, forgotten accounts, but as for the ACTIVE ones...I say less then 20.

Some of these have got to be inside jokes among the staff...I like that they have a sense of humor :lol:

I did my first run ever at level 78, and it went okay (but had to use like 4 p pots :oops: ). My third run ever, though, went horrible is the only time I've died at barrows.

Hunter is the only one that is different (Hunting is probably some big word and German and they need more space, so they made it smaller)

Well, Jagex said in the knowledge base that the chance of getting a d chain is like "Zamorak giving up his evil ways and becoming good", so I wouldn't be surprised if no one has got it yet.

Nice guide, could of used this when I started hunting. Just to put some input into the chinchompas vs. salamanders thing, I did orange salamanders 53 to 59, red salamanders 59 to 63, and red chinchompas 63 to my current level of 70...I compared red salamander xp to chinchompa xp at lvl 63+, and chinchompas are definitely better (plus they are a lot easier to set traps for and you can sell them for some nice profit).

This also works very well with full Dharoks: use digsite explosives to get to low hp, put on prayer, and say near the altar...DO NOT do this if you have a slow connection, however, as you'll have to time to react if you lag and your prayer runs out.

VERY well represented and well put-together guide...I didn't really learn anything new, but it's perfect for low levels looking to explore. 9/10 :
