I totally agree. Well maybe not in terms of eating a better diet, since I have a dining hall plan.. but my campus is so huge and spread out that I'm going to get the "freshman minus fifteen!" I have to walk 10-15 minutes to get to any of my classes (and even to get to the dining hall on the weekends or after 8pm).

I had a fun night last night. My roommate and I were going to go watch a showing of Halloween at my uni, but at the last minute we changed our minds and went down town with a bunch of friends. I didn't have a costume so I threw together a bunch of odd clothes at the last minute. The street was closed to cars so it was just thousands of people in all sorts of crazy costumes.

You hate kids who just so happen to have been born into a well-off family? It's not like it's their fault :wall: Well, usually rich kids tend to be brats, or are spoiled. That's just some of them, though. Then he should hate brats or spoiled kids - not just any kid who was born into a privileged household ;) We can't help what kind of family we are born into or what gifts our parents want to give us (or are able to give us).. but we can help how we choose to act :P

Just a few more screenshots of my progress on the Scorpion King picture and what I have so far at the end of the day: Working on the refined version, starting with the eyes (100% zoom) Moved the army standard to the left (25% zoom) Two layers of shadows, one layer of highlights on the face only (33.33% zoom) Current version (25% zoom) Random Notes I hate the nose, but I doubt I'll fix it (or even be able to). I may add scars/veins etc. I will be redoing the army standard. Right now it's still very much a sketch. May add more details to the background. May attempt to add some texture to the claw >_

The Scorpion King Army Standard will be much more refined and just... better XD Most of the drawings are pretty crappy. Cliche stuff is fun. If I was feeling really cliche (and not lazy) I would have found a dictionary and made the heart right next to the definition of love. But I don't have a dictionary so I settled for my lame school book (which I so don't love) D:

One thing I love is watching the other people in their cars sing to themselves. :lol: Oh dear :unsure: YES! THOSE ARE AMAZING! I can definitely go through like an entire box without even realizing.

I love singing in the car. There's just something really awesome about going for a drive, having one of your favourite songs come on the radio and just going crazy with it.

Stealing this one. I think that's the only thing I'd really wish for. I'd love to be fluent in multiple languages and I REALLY would love to learn how to read hieroglyphics, but I just suck at foreign languages. I took spanish all through middle school and barely progressed and then I took french all through high school and also barely progressed. I did just fine in the classes (As and Bs) but I don't feel like I learned anything :S

I felt artsy today and thus drawing took priority over homework (as usual). This means I get to wake up at 8am to finish my homework but that's okay. I told myself I was going to draw a realistic person for once so I started off with a black and white sketch just to see if it would work. I am ACTUALLY going to finish this one I promise :P So here's what I have so far: Everything will be much more refined in the coloured version (and the lighting will be a bit better) but Peter said I should post this one :P

OMG I LOVE MOL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I forgot about it. Mol day was such a great thing in high school. We had mol competitions - like who could create the most clever mole stuffed animal.
