  1. You guys have to spam more :( Thanks so much, ickdeep! :D Very close indeed! :D Herblore is in fact a very fun skill, in my opinion. I love the idea of it : Thanks for your support Lunar :D Thanks so much, satin! :D Yes, I remember you! And thanks for those nests (again)! They really did help! I'll go ahead and add you. My party will be open to anyone and everyone who is interested in coming. I'll probably be deciding on a date within the next couple of days. Thank you! :D (again) And thanks for making those unfinished potions!!! ----- 8-) 6.8k potions to go! Special thanks to Ninja_Biff to making some unfinished potions for me! He really cut the time it would've taken me in half!! Unfortunately, I still have to make enough gp to pay for ~5k more nests  That's about 37k nats I believe. Tomorrow is Father's Day so I'll obviously be doing some family stuff. But I'm still hoping to make 10k-20k nats!
  2. We have had many, many 9/11 conspiracy threads. Please use the search function to find one of the pre-existing ones.
  3. Aww :( Well good luck with 80 hunter! I'm sure you'll be able to pull through. Congratulations on your 3.67 GPA. I'm no Ms. Smartypants really. I mean I probably could if I wanted to (judging by the fact that I can pull off all As and Bs without lifting a book), but quite frankly I don't care much for school. Yeah it is a wonderful skill. It's nice and relaxing since you really only have to farm about an hour a day for all your xp. Haha! Mmm relaxing does sound nice though. Hehe well my runecrafting level does help  And that's very nice of you!! Haha indeed a tad dangerous. I've actually been thinking a lot about what I'll do with my herbs. I think that for a while I might use some for more herblore. Getting a little higher in the ranks never hurt anyone! After that I guess I'll sell them for a nice second source of income. Hehe I'm trying! Thanks~! Well having my level in the lower 70s has worked out pretty well for me. Any lower than that might be a tad too low! And thanks! I should get 98 today. Aww I'm honored that you enjoy my blog! :D Yes, almost everyone has one skill that they leave up to lamps, quests and tears. For me, that's always been slayer (though hunter has temporarily stolen tears from me). I hate the skill :wall: Anyway, thanks for your support!! They've helped a lot!! :D Thanks so much!! Thanks so much!! :D Any time ugafan~!! :) It was nice seeing you!! I really should hang out there more often. I'm sure I will when I start up farming. Lol! Thanks for the bump! Yep! I have been a tad slow lately (due to a few IRL issues that I've needed to resolve), but I am hoping to catch up a bit. I should get 98 today and hopefully 99 in a few short days! Thanks so much! :D Hehe well I would hardly consider myself owned  I did start at level 84, and him at 91 or 92 (don't remember). So I did catch up to him by 2m xp, which is quite an achievement in itself, in my opinion. Then I did slow down a bit after 96/97, which I'll admit to. But oh well! It's all in good fun. ----- Anyway, as mentioned in a few of my replies, I am hoping to get 98 today. I apologize for my slightly less activity recently, though it's probably the fault of a few issues IRL that I'm experiencing. But no worries, I'll pull through! I'd like to congratulate bpk_wolfen on his 99 herblore! Though I did not win, I started at 84 and him at 91 or 92. So I did catch up by about 2m xp, which I would consider quite an accomplishment! Anyway, I do hope to get 99 in the next few days! After today or tomorrow, I'll probably start considering the party date and create a thread on the Tip.iters RuneScape Discussions forum. So keep a look out~!
  4. Spam/flames removed, but I agree that the bumps may be a tad excessive. You don't have to bump every hour or so.

  10. Except doing that method would probably take a year to get 99 :wall:
  11. What he said  Not all forums actually add to your post count if you post there.
  12. ^^ What he said :
  13. There are some forums where if you post there, your post count does not go up  See this sticky for more information: Tip.it Forum Guide - Post Count.
  14. -quickly adds it in before anyone notices- :anxious:
  15. You may post it in the subforum of the main Archives of Wisdom forum :) The subforums are the "Player-Made Guides." So a guide on fishing would belong here: Player-Made Guides: Skills, Mini Games & Quests
  16. Eeep!! I'd rather live someplace where it was cold all year round than either of those two! :XD: Yes =; Thanks so much Chenjs Well my skills didn't cost me a red phat. And it's all personal preference. What's the point of having 250m if you're not going to use it? I'd much rather have two 'rarer' level 99s than four common ones. I like skills that intrigue me, and that usually ends up being the unpopular, expensive or uncommonly trained skills. And I'm not quite sure why you chose smithing  Unless you plan on spending a year mining all your ores to smelt/smith, then smithing is actually one of the more expensive skills out there :-k I've actually noted that as well. Maybe because women stereotypically like gardening Thanks :D<3: Hehe the runecrafting level helps too  It's weird, because I'm not a patient person at all o.O Thank you! :D I went ahead and added you. Hopefully we can trade sometime soon!! Terrific! Though my PM is off, I checked after you posted this and you weren't on. I'll keep an eye on my friends list and PM you when I see you login :D ----- Well I've actually been pretty lazy today in terms of runecrafting. It's getting a tad boring to be honest (the runecrafting, not the herblore of course!). I shall pull through!!! I shall!!
  17. Well here's what I like to do: I start the game by getting a steady flow of all materials. Once I feel like things are stabilized for the most part, then I start gathering water (like in the last 5-10 minutes of the game). Usually the last 5-10 are the least important. By that time you're usually pretty well stocked on materials, and there's very little that you can do to majorly affect the game's outcome. Using that method, I always maximize the 100 PoE for collecting materials. And I usually get between 110 and 130 PoE per game (and I don't spend the whole time gathering water :P).
  18. The only way you could possibly break even getting 99 herblore would be allowing yourself to spend months upon months training it. You'd either have to do the following methods that Harrington and Freesia mentioned or sit around waiting for excellent sale opportunities. If you make prayer and/or super restore potions, you typically lose very little gp (or possible to break even if you spend a couple extra days/weeks waiting for cheap prices on herbs). The problem with that is that there's a huge demand for ranarrs and snapdragons (since everybody wants this good "lose as little gp as possible" opportunity), therefore creating a huge competition for them. It probably takes the average person 1-3 months to get 99 herblore, and that's with losing probably anywhere from 30m to 100m. Now just imagine how long it'd take you if you broke even? Probably 3-6 months would be my guess.
  19. Well if you did nothing, you'd probably get 5-20 points per game and full naval would take a heck of a lot longer  No problem! :D

  21. The game is pretty easy. It usually takes a few games to get used to everything that's going on (even with an excellent guide at your aid). A couple pointers/notes: You get a maximum of 100 PoE for collecting materials and putting them in the hoppers. This paragraph from the Tip.it Guide explains that pretty well: [hide]The best, quickest way to get the extra 100 PoE is with buckets of water, but don't do this first - it wastes time early in the game that could be used for making more rum! After your team is steadily producing rum and has a healthy number of ingredients for rum, there's lots of time to grab a ton of buckets from the Tool Store and fill them at the water pump. When they're filled, deposit them all in the water hopper. Each one will give you 1 of the 100 bonus PoE. It is best at some time in the game to get 3 full or nearly full inventories of buckets of water into the hopper and then 1 full inventory of Scrapey Bark into its hopper. This will get you the 100 bonus PoE as well as the maximum rum bottle bonus skill experience (contributing one major ingredient for each bottle made).[/hide] Some people don't know that and spend the whole game collecting hundreds of water, which just wastes time and team efforts towards producing rum :wall: In addition to the maximum of 100 PoE for gathering materials, you get two PoE for every bottle of rum that your team makes. So I encourage you to be one of the "kind players" and actually make an effort to keep the materials evenly stocked  I hate the players who sit around gathering 300 buckets of water when we're out of something else (and when they won't get 300 PoE for them anyway) Good luck!!!
  22. Not hard at all, very easy. It just takes a lot of time  I usually get ~130 PoE per game (which is a little over 20 minutes). Full Naval is 2500 PoE (shirt, hat and slacks). 2500 PoE total / 130 PoE per game = 19.2 games (round to 20) 20 * 20 = 400 minutes. 400 / 60 = about 7 hours for full naval. That should be right :P I apologize if any of my "math" is wrong :wall:
