Nope, you just have to kill them. But apparently you can get your small pouch back by speaking to the Dark Mage (Haven't tried this myself, haven't lost mine in like a year :oops:). But you must get all the others back by killing abyssal monsters. I would recommend just killing the aybssal leaches (commonly found in each of the four corners). They only have 10 hp so you kill them pretty fast.

Seeing as how you can't die on tutorial island, there is very little discussion left to be had here.

I would highly recommend building oak larders and staying away from flatpacking. Flatpacking is pretty slow xp and nobody buys flatpacks unless you're selling mahogany, marble or gilded furniture. Try building oak larders in the kitchen. Other than oak doors, it is the most efficient and reasonable (in other words, excluding mahogany, which isn't even worth using) form of experience. ...but if you really insist on making flatpacks, then try Carved Oak Tables.

Just a note: I understand that pretty much everyone disagrees with his idea, but I also think that thusfar a great discussion has emerged from this thread. You guys have done a pretty good job about keeping the flaming to a minimum. But as long as there's a descent discussion going on, I see no reason to lock it :)

Love your new signature! I bought the planks pre-made. They were a lot more expensive then.. 500 - 550 ea >.< Having your butler do it is faster than running the planks yourself, but it is more expensive. Either way, I consider the process to be mundane and just a waste of time. Making the gp yourself will probably take the same amount of time, but you get experience in two skills instead of one (RCing for making gp).

I do believe that the idea originated from the combat and total level stereotype. It was believed that the higher your combat level, the better your stats. So in rebellion to that, people started making level 3's in which they would obtain all non-combat skills at 99 to prove that lower levels could have nice stats. Now I don't have a "skilling pure" myself, but I do believe that a lot of people do it out of boredom and/or excitement. Starting over on a new account and keeping it at level 3 is a challenge for some, and just an adventure/project for others.

I do believe that you need two hotspots that connect to each other :) Otherwise, there wouldn't be a way to get back down if one of your hotspots led to a room where there wasn't a staircase :uhh: Think about it like this, for every staircase hotspot you build, that staircase is only half of one. So you need two hotspots to complete a full staircase that can lead you upstairs :) If that makes sense.. In short.. Option A : Sheesh I know how to ramble.

Just sort of popping in here to give some insight to users on the Help & Advice matter. The main reason why I think removing the subforums is a good idea is that only a small percentage of people actually use them. The main Help & Advice forum is supposed to be for miscellaneous questions that don't fit into any of the subforums. Take a look at all the threads in that forum that should have been placed in a subforum.. nearly all of them :wall: If people actually used the subforums, that'd be great. But as of right now, many people are not, which causes a huge increase in moderation on our part. Just giving people that to think about. Please keep the input coming! :thumbsup: \
