  1. One More Trainee! We are pleased to announce one more moderator trainee: @Leik! She will have moderator powers in Help & Advice and BlogScape. Please join me in congratulating her and welcoming her to the team! Congratulations Leik!
  2. Sense and Sensibility - Worst love story ever o_O (though in all honesty, it's probably closer to real life...)
  3. You'll probably have to take baby steps. Practice speaking in front of the mirror, then in front of your parents, then in front of a small group of friends, then in front of a slightly larger group, etc.
  4. I've never really had a problem with stage fright, probably because school prepared me for it at an early age. All throughout elementary and middle school I had to participate in school plays (where I played the lead on more than one occasion), read essays out loud in front of the class, play music in front of an audience, give monologues, dance performances, etc. Maybe I was shy/scared at first (can't honestly remember), but if I was, it definitely got hammered out of me.
  5. :wall: I think it's pretty obvious that there's a difference between Jagex trading RuneScape membership for real money (which they HAVE to do in order to have a P2P version of the game) and someone buying RuneScape gold with cash.
  6. I just watched Fast Five. I had seen the first one and didn't like it much so I had no intention of watching the others. But my boyfriend recommended Fast Five so I gave it a try and liked it a lot :P I haven't seen 2-4 but Fast Five was definitely better than 1 IMO XD
  7. Check out our official RuneFest blog! Stay tuned for more updates :)
  8. Animation is allowed, but honestly panels are a bit easier and quicker to read, so that would be preferred :P But both are acceptable and choosing one over the other won't increase or decrease your chance of winning.
  9. I watched Rango a few days ago... I honestly didn't really like it :/ I thought the beginning was slow, weird, didn't transition well, and I had no idea where the movie was going. Then the rest was just very cliché, not that funny, and I didn't feel like the movie flowed very well.
  10. That's not something that was anticipated when Jagex wrote up the fan site criteria for platinum. They would most certainly be disappointed and they would probably contact us to inquire about it, but I can't say for certain either way whether we would lose platinum status. I do think it would be reasonable for them to revoke if it we did though... If we weren't going to support RuneScape, why should they support us? :P
  11. I imagine that would require custom modifications and take quite a while to implement, whereas this option is just switching a setting in the ACP. We try to avoid custom modifications as much as possible, as they can create annoying problems when upgrading. I can't say whether or not that will ever happen without talking to Peter, but right now we do have other things to worry about first.
  12. Yep the login system is based on switching your browser or switching computers - not on IP address/location. As someone who frequently browses Tip.It on her desktop, laptop, and phone, believe me when I say I know exactly how annoying this is. We decided to make the change for security reasons and at this time we will not be switching it back. It really sucks and we apologize, but we feel that it's necessary. The random log outs (without switching browsers/computers) is a glitch. We're not sure how to fix it at this time but it's most likely something on IPB's end, and hopefully it will be fixed in a future update.
  13. We're aware of the problem but at this time we're not sure how to fix it :( We will be upgrading to a new version of IPB in the near future so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the issue will be fixed then. I know it's really, really annoying and I'm sorry! :(
  14. In that case, post on this RSOF thread: [qfc]275-276-10-62906860[/qfc] I have a mac so no viruses i checked >.< and i don't have a account to do that with :/ I think you should be able to create a new account to post there.
  15. In that case, post on this RSOF thread: [qfc]275-276-10-62906860[/qfc]
  16. Recover your account manually. There should be two options: one that requires an e-mail address and one that does not. Use the latter option. Once you get your account back you will need to strengthen your recoveries. This is the single easiest way for people to steal accounts these days. Most of the time peoples' recovery answers can be found on other website profiles or social media sites. To be as secure as possible, your recovery question should never have a legitimate answer. Here are examples of good and bad recoveries: BAD Q: What was my first best friend's name? A: Zackary GOOD Q: What was my first best friend's name? A: skjd*sj24Ks7jeD Just make sure you write them down (IRL, not on your computer) and keep them in a safe place. The odds of someone breaking into your house to steal your recovery answers are quite low :P
  17. some girls absolutely can. Some girls absolutely can't. Pretty much this :P It's the same as guys really. Some guys can, some guys can't. Exactly the same for girls.
  18. Yep we will be gathered up at the community management area of the event. The Tip.It admins will be stationed there with all our goodies :)
  19. I don't like it when men play hard to get :P People encourage guys to do that on this thread so if you're going to be doing it, don't complain when you get it back! :P
  20. Locked on request - issue solved :)
  21. Same thing is happening to me D: Only in Safari though I think. Is that the browser you're using, I wonder? I let Peter know but I'm not sure we know what the problem is atm.
  22. At this time we don't have enough demand for a dedicated RuneScape fan fiction forum. The only reason there aren't many RuneScape fan fictions in the Varrock Library is because there is not much interest. You're fully welcome to post your fan fictions there. It just seems that we don't have many writers interested in doing that. We do have a forum solely for RuneScape art called the RuneScape Media forum. If you want to reach a RuneScape audience with your fan fictions, I wouldn't have a problem with you posting your RuneScape writings there.
  23. Mather, Resistance, both of you need to knock it off. We're all sick of your constant bickering in circles and it's not like it's going to go anywhere. Yes, originally the Falador Library was the dedicated roleplay forum and the Tavern was created to accommodate the desire for RPGs. But the Library forum has died out to the point where the Falador Tavern has become a home for all roleplaying activities. That includes story roleplays and game roleplays. As far as I'm concerned, the word "roleplaying" encompasses both of them. Regardless of whether it's a story or a game, you're still acting out characters or actions. The purpose or outcome may be different, but the idea is the same. We would consider splitting up the forums if the Falador Tavern was overflowing with activity and the roleplay stories were pushing out the roleplay games, but that is not the case. Just check out the forum index. There are threads on the first page dating back to May. As long as there aren't so many new threads that games are being pushed off the first page, we're not going to split up the topics in this forum and force roleplay stories to be posted elsewhere. You will have to come to terms with this, Mather. We have no plans to make any changes. In short, drop this argument - both of you. There's no sense in bickering over what the purpose of this forum is when we're not planning to change it. I would also like to point out that there is a difference between someone disagreeing with you and challenging your ideas and someone personally attacking you. The former is NOT against the rules.
