  1. Second Batch of Moderator Trainees! Congratulations to our second batch of moderator trainees! - Clan Community Leader @Range_This11 - General Discussion, Off-Topic - General Discussion, Off-Topic    We're confident that all three of them will do a great job! :)
  2. EVERYONE READ I would like to remind everyone of some of our Tip.It Forum Rules: Section 1.2 - Spamming: If your post is not a substantial contribution to the topic, don't post at all. We do not permit pointless replies. Section 1.3 - Flaming: We do not tolerate flaming, insulting, or personally attacking other users. This includes but is not limited to calling people names (saying people are idiots/ignorant/stupid/etc.), attacking people for having poor grammar/spelling, and harassing/insulting people for whatever reason. Section 1.4 - Stay on Topic: All posts in a thread must be on topic. We understand that some threads evolve naturally, but drastic and/or sudden topic changes are not permitted. It is irksome and disruptive for the people who actually want to discuss the topic at hand. If you want to talk about something else, you need to create a new thread or take it to private message. Unrelated conversations are not permitted. Section 2.8 - Tip.It Staff: When a moderator comes in to remove posts and/or put an end to an argument/off topic conversation, you need to listen to them. If you feel that their actions were unfair or unwarranted, you should not complain on the thread or criticize the moderator publicly. You should PM an administrator with links to the thread/posts and present your case. The administrator will thoroughly review the situation. If the actions were acceptable, the situation will be thoroughly explained to you to help you understand why the actions were taken. If the actions were inappropriate, they will be reversed. We are serious about these rules guys. If you feel that any of these rules are unfair or need revising, create a thread in Forum Updates & Suggestions. If you want to complain about a specific moderator and/or their actions, you're welcome to PM me or any other admin. Don't complain about it here. I hope we can avoid any future off-topic rants in the future. We don't want to dish out warnings or bans but if the rule-breaking persists, we don't have much of a choice. I hope this is a fair warning to everyone.
  3. Which Jagex Mod Would You Interview? Jagex has graciously offered us two exclusive interviews with Jagex Staff in the near future and they're giving us the opportunity to request specific JMods! So which Jagex Mod would you most like to see interviewed??
  4. In grade 2 I helped someone cheat on some practice workbook problems. I found the answer key when the teacher left the room and read it out to them. :XD:
  5. It was amusing  ..maybe I'm not supposed to say that as an admin, but it was. Much lulz. OT has been pretty dry lately :( I stick to the relationship sticky for the most part.
  6. I'd say it varies from person to person. I have a much stronger emotional attachment and connection to my boyfriend than I do to my friends.
  7. Honestly, I'd be amused if they did it :P I'm not a big Facebook fan/user so I don't care much either way.
  8. Thanks mate! But I want know what means Administrator/Global Moderator/Moderator, not who it is! :shame: The role descriptions are also listed on the page Gandorf gave you ;) You can find even more information about these roles in the Administrator Spotlight and Moderator Spotlight threads. :)
  9. Unfortunately it seems that this was intended to make the skin more lightweight, so we won't be fixing it :( Sorry!!
  10. Yeah it's weird :P The writing style of The Hobbit is much better than LotR IMO! I almost can't get through LotR :/
  11. Just tested it myself and I believe you're right. I'll poke Peter about this tomorrow to see if we can get it fixed :)
  12. I finally finished A Game of Thrones on Thursday so I'm onto A Clash of Kings. I'm already over 300 pages in so I'm making much better progress XD
  13. Yep adding onto what Killerred005 said, in some situations you can reply to Jagex's messages. For example, when I've won RuneScape competitions in the past I've had to reply back with the RSN I want membership applied to and my home address so they can send me prizes.
  14. I heard you guys were talking about A Game of Thrones!
  15. I agree 100%. The only time a video guide might be better IMO is if it's for a boss hunting method or Fight Caves or something. Otherwise I usually don't bother watching it at all if it's a video guide, for all the points that you mentioned.
  16. This is a really unique idea  I honestly never would have thought to do this. Very cool, thanks for sharing :)
  17. Err I don't think anyone was suggesting that.
  18. There are plenty of "serious" girls on RuneScape.. I'd like to consider myself to be one of them :P They're just harder to find since I'm sure majority of the players are quite young (early teens and below).
  19. Congratulations!!   Definitely the best 99 imo! :P
  20. First Batch of Moderator Trainees! We will be announcing two batches of moderator trainees from our 2011 recruitment drive. Please join me in congratulating the first batch! @Ezkaton - General Discussion, Help & Advice - Falador Tavern @Ouchy - The Gallery, Off-Topic    We're confident that all three of them will do a great job! :) Stay tuned next week for our second batch!
  21. Honestly I can't think of anything :P Of your possible ideas, 1. I listen to all kinds of music. 2. I'm agnostic but still have to go to church sometimes. 3. I don't normally exercise but I have already been exercising a bit. 4. I normally read a lot. And I just fail at thinking of anything else. Maybe I'll lurk and see what ideas other people come up with :P
  22. After discussion with Obtaurian and because of the recent announcement (with DGS leaving Tip.It, becoming a proper clan, etc.) we have decided to lock this thread. Thanks for the help you provided to Tip.It'ers in the past :)
  23. Time for a new release of the: >>>Tip.It Times!<<< I'd like to remind people of the rules pertaining to Times threads: [hide=Read these rules before posting in this thread] [/hide] When replying please make sure to clarify the article you are replying to! Thanks! If you spot any typos or mistakes in the article then please PM them to me or @Racheya :) Enjoy the articles!
