  1. Babydragon bones cost 20m more and would take 3x as long to altar as dragon bones, so at least with current prices they aren't worth it.
  2. Really? And how many blocked attacks is it? I guess if I had made more trips that didn't consist of me not switching prayers in time and getting hit a few extra times and the panic that always ensued I might have noticed that...
  3. 2.5bridding is easy. Check out Squareroot's guide in the AOW (or is it in general guides?). Oh wow! This is much nicer than trying to kill Prime+Supreme, thanks for pointing it out! 2 D Hatchets so far. I'm not getting as many kills/hr as the guide suggests atm, but I suppose that will increase as I get more experience with the DKs.
  4. So it seems being good at prayer switching is what helps a lot. Guess I need (a lot) more practice at that. And I hadn't considered DKs, but either until my brother is good enough to mage Rex or I can find someone to go with me as I'm not sure solo tribridding would work for me.
  5. I've been killing frost dragons for a while aiming to make enough to get 96 prayer. Started at 83 prayer, currently 89, and I'm getting bored. Is it worth killing TDs without Soul Split, or will the lack of healing demand a unicorn and thus slow down the trips due to no iron titan? My stats are 95/95/95 atk/def/str 99 hp 97 mage 94 range 89 prayer 96 summ. Thanks in advance!
  6. typo on the front page. Crew Edit: Fixed  -Shelby_Polo
  7. Bananas. Lots and lots of bananas.
  8. Definitely DO NOT do that. I was in a situation which was somewhat similar about a year and a half ago. To make a long story short, one week I lost it and refused to get out of bed, which culminated with me ending up in a psychiatric hospital. The doctors were able to get them to lessen up a lot, but I was also put on several antidepressants to deal with the Social Anxiety Disorder I supposedly have. The meds did nothing but make me get more and more depressed. It really sucked, because I missed at least 50% of my classes that school year, and we eventually decided to pull me out of the school and home-school me the rest of the year so I wouldn't have so much school stuff about which to worry. It took a long time for me to get over this, and when I was, my school didn't want me to be in any honors/AP classes for my senior year because they were worried I'd miss too much school again (before everything happened I had maintained a 4.0gpa easily in the most difficult classes offered, and made 4s on both AP exams I took, despite missing half the classes due to being sick). Because of that I'm being home-schooled again this year, which if only I weren't so lonely all the time I would find much better. My parents are definitely a lot more loose about stuff with me now, so if anything good came out of this, it's certainly that and realizing I have problems which can be helped.

If I had money I would seriously consider attempting to buy that. I rather enjoy solving rubik's cubes and other twisty puzzles. That petaminx looks like it turns a hell of a lot better than the megaminx I have. Oh well, maybe in 15 years when those are being mass-produced I'll be able to own one. Til then I'll just have to be satisfied with the latest V-cube.
  10. I didn't get in trouble for this, but once a while back a friend and I were teasing another friend by saying she was stripping on webcam for me (long story), but he, being the perverted idiot he is, took it literally and went blabbing around at school. Apparently one time he yelled it out around the disciplinarian for some reason, and was kind enough to tell me. The next day, first hour of class, the disciplinarian walked into the classroom, looking for someone else. I almost passed out. :S Other than that, in 2nd grade I got caught cheating on a test.
  11. I love how this thread is ranked highest in google, despite the 'googlebombing' in the title
  12. I looked around the interwebz and most people think that Python or Visual Basic are both easy programming languages to start off with, especially Python. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/sho ... hp?t=22362 I know some HTML so if you need help with that, just ask me. :P I would definitely say Python over VB, especially for this purpose, because Python can handle large integers, whereas a number of other languages, if an integer grows beyond 2^64 (I think. May be 2^32 for some languages) there is an overflow error and an incorrect answer will be given. Also 85 problems solved now. Found a few more which I was able to easily solve, can't be many more of those left. :(
  13. I can assure you that he is of no relation to me.
  14. I really like python. I find it to be much simpler than C or Java, which is the main reason I gave up learning those. Being an interpreted language, however, it will be slower than C, but that's not really much of an issue, because if your algorithm is taking hours to run it's a sign that you need a more efficient algorithm. http://www.python.org
  15. A few of them are doable with paper/pencil and/or a calculator, but a vast majority require programming. Well I guess I'll look for a few more like that one, and if I can't find any, won't do them then. Theres a lot of other math problems out there. Yep you'll never run out of math problems to do. :D I'm up to 82 problems solved on this site.

  17. You would probably be best learning some language like C, Python, Java, etc., especially if you seriously wish to complete many of the problems. I use Python, and like it a lot. :D Some of the stuff is definitely more calculation-intensive than mIRC scripting can handle, so I would really recommend learning a better language. :( Oh, I meant just throwing it in a pdf and then showing a picture on here. However, LaTeX might be a little unnecessary for these problems. Ah yeah that's pretty much what I would do, but I do agree it'd probably be unnecessary.
  18. It would surprise me if tif supported latex :\ Whenever I need to symbolically show math, I just use OpenOffice.Org's Math program, it's rather simple and can be turned easily into an image.
  19. Don't you be dissing barney young lady. Oh, right, sorry. I forgot you were addicted to Teletubbies now.
  20. Cowman is obviously 12. He watches too much Barney. *runs*
  21. What's wrong with math? :o It be's awesome!
  22. That's just nasty. And I can't think of anything from which it would be physically impossible for you to die.
  23. Are you aware that you are supposed to create a short program on your computer to help with the problems? They definitely help A LOT. Some of the first few problems don't really require a program, but almost all of them are calculation-intensive to the point that it would take days or weeks to work out the answer by hand. I guess what I don't understand is where this 'a' comes from?
  24. The only thing I can think of for that just seems rather trivial. All primes are odd numbers, and odd numbers can only be congruent to 4 mod 3 or 4 mod 1, which makes all primes of the form 4n+1 or 4n+3. That seems too simple to be a "proof" to me, but I can't think of anything else. I don't really understand what that is saying.
