For training, use black d'hide. It gives the exact same ranged attack bonus as karils, and nothing else matters, except that you don't need to repair black d'hide. I would recommend only using karils for pking, castle wars, possibly fight pits, and of course barrows. For everything else, use black d'hide.

Well, if you checked my stats, you'd know that I've grown a ton of ranarrs. :P And I'm not saying that using farming as a supplement is bad, but as a primary money source it yields 112k per hour, which isn't that great. If you do other things while having herbs grow, you do get free money, but like I said, you get more from the other skill. Using my example of ranging, I could make 100k in an hour from the ranarrs, and in the same hour over 250k from blues, totalling about 350k per hour. The farming is a nice bonus, but which one makes you more money? And how many people mention ranging as a good way to make money?

No. You cannot get the robes until you start the quest, and to start you need all the prequests completed.

Actually, flesh crawlers give exactly the same xp (at least, they do from my experiences) and use a lot less food. I prefer ice giants because of their big bones, but I've never tried the wizards.

And I think someone mentioned, you can't light fires in the furnace building. Here're my starting points. They're just on the west side of that wall by the furnace, 1 and 2 squares north of the signpost.Later I might post a pic of the locations I start at with willow logs.

Thanks, any more opinions? I do barrows with veracs, and I was thinking about switching my order to do ahrim early with prayer (he wastes a ton of my food in black hides with crystal bow), but I don't want to if he'll kill my strength. There are generally thousands of willows in the store. They cost 12 gp ea while oaks cost 6 ea. 6 gp is almost nothing, and the xp bonus is a TON!

Can he lower your stats if you're using protect from magic? Ty

That's how I'm raising fm, but willows are MUCH faster xp, and you can still buy from the same store and burn just as fast. You might want to edit that in.
