Oh I see. Now i know what you mean. I hope you also know what I mean with "a cheap method".
-
If the guy would have cut 2k willows and sold them at 35 each he would have gotten 70K. When he uses my method then, and burns 2 logs at 12 gp each, he will have still 46k left. However, if he would have burned his logs right after cutting (port sarim is good for this) then that would have taken less time. But i heard more than one time that people cut them in draynor, bank them, and burn them later. And in that case, my method is working fine. Its also focused to be cheap, cause yew burning is a hell lot faster, but much more expensive.

First of all, please dont double post. You could have just edited your previous post. Second: Ty for nominating :) Third: I am not a member, so i dont know what the situation is in p2p. But even then. If you are a member, you can still go on f2p worlds so i dont see the problem.

Enough worlds :) Also, i think a lot of people will still prefer to waste their money either on willows, or yews (which are too be honest, superfast). Same here, lol. Thats why i made this small guide Oh, kwimbom: I'm sorry man, but i really have to tell the truth. Sorry pall... Although, there is still hope, just pay attention in class and who knows, mabye, eventually, it may go a bit better. :D

Hey. I've recently seen a lot of people firemaking willows next to a bank. This means they have cut them themself, or bought them. In both cases this means they've lost 30-35 gp each willow burnt. With my method, that amount can almost be divided by three! Ever noticed how many willows the shops have in stock? Well, I did. Mostly there are over 5k logs, so they are only 12 gp each! So I looked around the RS map to see the best spot where I can make one long line of fires (you step away automatically). And I ended up in Lumbridge. The shop always has a nice amount of logs, and there is a great spot to make "your line of fires". So I'll show you how to do it in some steps (although it's very easy) 1) Prepare yourself First of all, you have to know this: Members aren't stupid enough to sell their willow logs to a shop. They rather fletch them first and sell them afterwards, thus making this method only for f2p worlds. => Log in into a f2p world You have to make up how many logs you are willing to burn, so you know how much cash to bring (dont risk more than you need :D). Beware, 'cause firemaking is quite boring. You also may not forgot to bring a tinderbox. But even then, the shop has one in stock!!! Haha, genius, ain't it ;) For all the stupid people out there, this is how your inventory should look when you start: 2) Go to the shop. Well, you need some logs to burn and the shop has a large stock so... Make sure there are enough logs in stock so they are only 12 gp each. It should look like this: 3) Buy the logs. Do I have to tell you it's easier to buy them in groups of 10? 4) Go to the "special" spot. You'll want to make as few clicking as possible, so it's the easiest to make on long line of fires. Well, ive found such a spot. I've also got a nice hint for you guys which will cause a bit less of mouse dragging: If you put your tinderbox in the middle of your inventory, it's a shorter distance to every log. For the stupid people, like this: The routes (yes there are 2) to make your lines are like this: Why 2? Because, if you are doing it fast, there will be still be fires burning from your previous run, blocking your new fires. If you alternate between the 2 routes you will be doing fine 5) Run back to the shop Yippie, you just made one run! Thousands more to go for 99 firemaking :). But you need more logs, so just rune to the shop. The good thing its that it is just a one click on your mini map to go to the shop (see picture). Unless some "funny guy" has closed the doors... 6) Repeat as much as you want 7) Some hints and tricks Dont wear any special armour/stuff 'cause newbies will disturb you all the time making you loose time. I cant emphasis enough on this :D You can make 80-90k firemaking xp with this method if you keep focusing. Its less than 0.15 gp per xp, meaning that 99 firemaking will cost you less than 2M gp! You can only do this in a f2p world for the reason stated before.

Dude, if you could read you would have seen that its a topic from one month old thats been bumped... Grr, i get mad at the ignorance of some people here
-
I am a noob because I exist. (because i logged in in rs, to be precise)
-
Its a good guide so I dont see the problem...

 How is that possible  He was alluding ghost island to a ghost town. Usually there is noone on Entrana save a few glass-makers. World 66 has 500+ people in a line from the law alter to draynor bank. Oh, and even Zezima runs laws when his stock gets low. Ive seen him off and on all night in Draynor bank. That or he buys the extremely cheap laws from the bank. I cant imagine zezima doing that. He can make them himself, and only loose a few more seconds. But even better, he can the abyss and double craft nats, making 5300 nats per hour that way. (all pouche (including giant), doing 2x crafting, and running very fast (1.1 min per run))

"Members can now cast Teleblock" 85 magic "You can now smith addy chains (or something like that)" 80 smithing
-
Lol, it was a nice read :) (not the stupid spamming) I wish i was still hapy with a mith spear or something like that :s. Now anything under 100k is rubbish. Like everyone said: Train some skills. You are a member, so you've got plenty of choice. Flax picking looks fine for you, assuming your lvl 27. Killing some druids for herbs might also give a good starting capital ps: go subse7en!
-
buy 99 smithing on addy bars buy phat set buy 99 magic (and get it) buy lots of sharks, super sets buy lots of ice barrage runes and have BIG FUN AT CASTLE WARS AND WILDY. buy all barrows sets buy 99 ranged with canon To make it short: id buy all kind of expensive things that speed up my training and make it fun => 94-99 magic on ice barrage in castle wars  give a bit away :D (if there is some leftover)
-
Skull anyone??? However, if this was implemented you should have to set your 3 best items BEFORE dying. (you dont have a choice when your already dead) Also: When pking people wear more than 1 good item (i'm assuming that people protect). So it isnt a real problem. And when dealing with a whip, well, they are protecting it anyway (even dropping mystic top for it)
-
Well, thats my view of members  Might have to change that then... But even then, there is an easy solution: Give it the staf of lets say red d hides, but make the requirement 80 ranged. Then NO member will wear it (unless it looks good)
-
Thank you very much :)
-
i know they never will... thing is: the requirements would be higher, but it would still be worse than what you can get at members (ice spells and stuff like that)
-
can you read? I NEVER said we should get it ... I even stated that i'm sure we will never ever get it, and that we dont deserve it.

Land Sales Would Save the Runescape Economy
bedman replied to r2-pleasent's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
why would you be 99 in no time when you can buy a patch that everyone sees??? I think such a "land" is all about prestige. The only special thing is that everyone can see it, or not? R2? what i understood of it -
There is one problem: runes are stackable So if some Uber rich guy (and there are a lot of them) get a massive amount of runes he could camp at kalphite queen, own at dueling, own at pking, kill all the daggonathkings easily, .... You'd have unlimited amount of food, in one inventory

First of all: i know jagex couldnt care less about f2p and that my ideas will never be even thought of, but i still wanted to post it to see what you guys think and i know we f2p'ers woudnt deserve this... Well, as most of you know, f2p wilderniss is totally messed up. Its hard to finish someone off. Mages and rangers are owning at low lvls (-80) and higher than that its all for the warriors (at least solo). However, all this superiorties and stuff gets totally forgotten when we are talking about teams. A team is bigger than anything and what do you see all time in the f2p wild: teams teams and teams. Also, the only way to make good profit is to kill a someone in full rune. That's why i have a few suggestions which wouldnt TOTALLY solve the problem, but a part of it. 1) A special staff which has some very decent melee defence (about the same as a rune kite). The staff is a bit similar to an iban staff: it is only for one particular spell: the .... spell. It would cost 150k This spell requires 2 death runes, 10 air runes, has a max hit of 20 and can only be cast with this staff. Maye additionally, you'd need a special magic hat (+ 3 magic, costs 50k) to be able to cast this spell. This would stop item protectors a bit. Now you guys will be saying: no way, pures will be even better. But thats the "special" thing of my idea: This staff requires 70 defence and 80 magic to wear. This way it will be only for high (combat) lvl mages, and especially those of f2p (mages are better of with god spells and ancient spells) Another thing that will be solved is the reward for killing a mage. Nowadays, killing a mage at f2p is just stupid. But this staff would be worth 150k (in some sort of shop) so its a decent profit when you kill a mage wearing this staff. And if he protects, you still have a nice amount of runes (might be 500 deaths) and if implemented: the special hat 2) Give mages the ability to snare. Nobody uses it at members, and bind is just worhtless. The 5 seconds are nearly 3 seconds, and it doesnt help a mage at all. With snare a mage might be able to keep a warrior away and chase him effectively. Rangers wont have any problems with it. 3) Now mages are stronger, rangers might need blue or maybe red hides. Things is: the problem of the cheap armour isnt solved with this. Maybe they should add some kind of range armour equal to red hides, that only can be bought in a shop. You could buy the full set for 150k. This way members wouldnt buy it since they have black hides, but f2p'ers who want to be good have to buy it and when they get killed, its a decent drop for the winner. 4) Finishing blow. Well this is a hard one. I cant really find somethign without making the member very very mad. something that just came in my mind. Some kind of superstrenght that requires 20 prayer (not lvl 20 prayer, but it takes 20 prayer away) and a bunch of runes and makes you hit double of what you would have hit. However, if members would use this, it would be too deadly and making it f2p only is ridiculous... well, thats about it note: I know this hasnt got ANY CHANCE to get implemented by jagex, but i like to dream :) note 2: I know , you members out there f2p don't pay so they don't deserve anything but like i said before, i'm just dreaming
-
mh, with those things implemented it would be something good. I'm also f the oppinion that it shouldnt be a seperate skill and the addition of lots of quests before being able to make the best thing/table/... is also a must.

Adept :P Adept unlock all the armours, but not the weapons. yes right so if you are just after the armour, then Adept level is fine... also for best way to kill black knights faster is that u get cannon and set it in the multis area.. cannon is a verry good idee... (4k balls waste ands now im master...) but the gloves and boots are wieldable after done the quest... (if other players buy for you, you wont b able 2 buy it from the shop) You said you did the quest? I thought you were f2p...

I forgot to mention how i like your self-supporting, variated playing style. You seem good in combining the good with the boring (eg rune minging + ranging + clues) and that way doing everything you need for your goal, without buying anything. I still remembered how surprised i was when i read your "yew story" and saw that you mined all your ess. It wouldn't be a big cost, but still you mined them. I like that attitude :) GL on your goals.
