Some good regular drops would be cool too (kind of like aberrants or waterfiends) And about high lvl updates: true, we are a minority but seriously, those lvl 90's have plenty of other stuff to do. I really dont think the average lvl 90 is waiting for another rune scimitar that's coming out. They are working towards getting a whip anyway.

To be able to afford items / skills that would be unreachable without a large amount of cash. Such as 99 herby/ prayer/ summon / construction. Or items such as a godsword set , Spirit shield etc. Its also the fact that having a large sum of money is impressive to your average scape and thats what a huge percentage of this game is about , to impress your mates etc. What other uses do phats / rares have etc ? Phats look badass. \ Also, your idea of obscene amounts is no longer the same value as it was years ago. As more GP enters the game, RS is undergoing constant inflation. GP value drops as time pass as more of them enter the game. 500m is no longer a ridiculous amount of money. People are constantly re-evaluating money. The way people see item prices at the moment just shows how much GP is now valued in the economy. Trust me, if phats were 1gp each, you wouldn't think they look badass.

Certainly made me happy. Got 2 spectrals for mine, one arcane for mid, one for max. Should have bought extra spectral for min though in stead of arcane for max.

battlestaves all the way. Buy from zaff daily, and 600 in the GE. Orbs have gotten expensive though.

It's fun. I enjoy enlarging my cash pile.

might have been me who bought for max. Maybe a bit impulsive to try max when med wasn't buying anymore but those things can go fast. I dont think I'll regret it.

Arcane isn't buying for min anymore. Just so you guys know. Spectral is (just bought one). edit: seems to be going fast. I couldn't get a second arcane for med. Had to do max.

Let me tell you this: Torso = bad You clearly hate BA, so why torture yourself. If you do green drags you get money, xp, and in the end perhaps a bandos chesplate (even though I disadvice buying it, stick to dharok's chestplate).

Save them for elemental titans or higher. I'd go for elemental titans since water talismans have become so expensive.

It is worth it. Check the link in my siggy for my guide. It has some responses in it with someone doing it at 77 ranged with excellent results. I'd strongly disadvice bandits. Do MM but don't finish it to get access to marim's dungeon.

Thanks, that's more of the "special situation" I was looking for. However, wouldn't you be hit by some fairly powerful Magic attacks by one of the sergeants? Some people take a karil top for that in stead of the bandos chestplate or barrows platebody. With a high magic lvl, I think you are better off with bandos/barrows though.

Bandos is the best armour for tanking or soloing bandos. It gives the best ranged defence in game (not counting pvp) and has a small str and prayer bonus.

well, I honestly don't think that green's are rarer than yellows, or blues are rarer than greens. So the phats actually becoming equal might be a natural thing, even though the GE probably doesn't help with it's sucky system.

This would actually be the greatest guide if you tweaked your lay-out a bit, and removed that home mad map by something better. Also, here and there the info is good, but not that clearly understandable (the luring part for instanc). These are 2 points where Artemis' guide beats yours. Yours however dares to confirm godswords are better, provides some other safespots, and is much more complete so even beginners can start it. So don't feel bad because of my constructive criticism, i'm with you :-). Oh, void is actually pretty ownage there IMO.

When I did some Hallying, I mostly needed 3 knockdowns at my stats. 2 If I was very lucky, 4-5 if I messed up badly. Now with a gs, I manage 2 easily, sometimes 1. Of course, by now I have more experienc, but it is clear to me, and many others, that a GS is faster. It uses more prayer, true, but not that much that it isn't worth it. Hell, it's a very small investment for roughly 30% faster kills. I thought you were more open for improvements, Artemis. A note that a GS *is* clearly faster, bringing 2 super sets, but that you cba to make new invo's and such would be a good start. Now report me as spam, will you :roll:

They need to change the drops into raw materials NOW. More and more parts of this game are becoming obsolete because of these pvp drops...
