you sure about that? think of it like this, if there is no way to get 40k yews except for an autoer to get them since nobody is going to stand at the tree cutting 40k yews because it would take a lifetime, they are allowing us to get our skills up easily. dont get me wrong, im still neutral, because im against a few special people who get billions of GP by making about 300 level 3s with a name of zh000, zh001 etc. it's morally wrong, but we profit off of it. its the modern business principle Its not because you didnt do it, that nobody does it. How do you think somebody got his 99 woodcutting? How do you think somebody got his 99 mining (i mined over 15k iron myself). How do you think somebody got his 99 fishing? Your argumentation was badly build. You sum up a few CONSUMING skills, and forget the productive ones. Of course, autoers do have an impact. But you are acting as if every single iron ore is from an autoer. You forgot to facture in the so called "noobs", and the people who are self-sufficient.

Hehe, that idea isnt plausable at all, just like Kwimbob and Lordsaultar said. F2p'ers are (concerned to be) stupid, but not thÃÆÃâÃâát stupid :D Anyway, if a mod sees this (old bumped topic, but still interesting :)), could you move it to General please? It doesnt really belong in general p2p, I figured. But i only found it out ÃÆÃâÃâáfter i posted this topic.

F2P, Catching (50) Swordfish = 100, Cooking (45) Swordfish = 140, Heals = 14 P2P, Catchng (62) Monkfish = 120, Cooking (62) Monkfish = 150, Heals = 16 Not to mention you have less than a 50/50 percent chance of getting swordfish when you harpoon, thanks to tuna. Tuna is what ruined me in f2p, I would attempt to get a load of swordies then get waaay too much tine :? [off-topic] IM 'manacit2' that you saw when Oddfaery was smithing you something yesterday or the day before......[/off-topic] Whats wrong with tuna in f2p? For f2pers, just like myself, its good food.

Excuse me, isnt it all about skills? I mean playing skills, not runescape skills (lvls) of course.

See my post on frogmite's thread. Also, read his original post there as well. Final thing, try some punctuation out; it's a pretty nifty concept. NOOB ALERT!!! What does the "(Y)" mean? Sorry for showing my inner noob. Yet you took the time out of your busy schedule to post an idiotic flame on the topic that you didn't read? I'm sorry but if the guy posted complete garbage it was still better than your moronic post. Eh, at least you spent some of your oh-so-precious time and apologized, that made it all better, right? :wall: Hehe, I could have expected that. Well, i'm not gonna go further into it, I think you do know what I mean. Oh nooo's, I've spent even more of "my precious time" on yet another post on this oh so stupid thread  . Anyway, It's just a fact that the Karma-stories are flooding this forum. Maybe make one big Karma-topic to post YOUR stories. Sort of like the scam-topic (stickied).

Yey, another Karma-topic. Didnt even take the effort to read it, sorry...

Pure essence - P2P RCers ruined - your opinion??
bedman replied to hazardmaster's topic in General Discussion
Exactly my feelings. However, I dissagree with the fact that there arent any other good money making ways on f2p. Iron mining for instance can yield 60k an hour. Crafting air runes is also a very good way to make money. Especially now with the new low lvl essence. Now you wont have concurrention from members (who get 300 gp back per essence crafted, opposing to 20-120 for f2p air crafters) when buying ess, so the prices of ess for f2p-crafters will go down. And ofcourse the famous rune mining, although it requires a very high lvl, thus effort. WRONG. F2p'ers are the one who can profit of this update, and then i'm talking about air rune crafters specifically (one of the best ways to make money on f2p). Now they can buy their essences way cheaper, cause they havent got concurrention from members who make much more profit per essence, making them pay more per essence. Of course, f2p ess miners are the dupe of this. But seriously, why would you mine ess when you are a bit of an experienced player? On the other hand, members arent having advantages because of this update. More the opposite. Their essence become more expensive, making their runes probably also more expensive etc... -
N0valyfe Interview (What they didn't want you to read)
bedman replied to jakeythehobo's topic in General Discussion
Sorry but this is not funny. Its such an "easy" overused humour... Too bad you spent your time making this. Its not originall at all. -
I got a friend who hates to buy things. Thats why he does nearly everything himself. He got 75+ herblore while collecting all the herbs himself. Thats what I call an accomplishment. And i didnt start talking about his other skills.

And she was absolutely right. Sorry to say this... but what you did was stupid. He could've been the one facing charges and getting suspended. Instead, you over stepped your bounds and turned everything back around on yourself. And to the person who wished the guy would've thrown the first punch... Doesn't matter who throws the first punch. The only way you can fight back that excessively is if you aren't able to get away from your attacker. Obviously, based on his macho like story, he had numerous opportunities to get away from the said offender (even if he would've been attacked). Same results would have followed regardless. Not saying I wouldn't have done the same thing... I would have to literally be placed in the situation to know what I would've done... but you should look into getting some anger management sessions in while you're at it. Vigilante justice NEVER prevails (only in the movies do they). EDIT: Fleeing the scene (that being school) doesn't help your case either. Y2, I've seen her. She's worth it. Being an adult I guess Im supposed to scold him. But I won't preach lies. At the very minimum that kid would have been shoved forcefully to the deck and then pounded down if he was silly enough to get up and test him. Sk8, Try heal up and hope the charges are dropped when things get sorted out. They usualy are. the only bit of sanity i see through all of this is bigmoneyak's input.. sk8 i can see that happening quite easy.. happens all the time at my school :? and it looks like you know bigmoneyak irl or talk to him via msn or something.. anyway, y2 just flames every post he sees it seems.. or somehow puts something negative into it... i wouldn't want to know you irl, you'd suck all the energy out of the room  Hell no! I like to read Y2's post. They are indeed quite "negative", but thats because he is the only one that manages to see the story in its realistic context. You always need someone critical/rational to see all sides of the story. I actually think its sometimes hard to stay "bjective"(of course he's got an oppinion, but for instance here, he's not saying things like "haha sk8, awesome that you beat him up, he deserved it!") but he seems to do it quite well. On the other hand, Nub, i know what you mean, and its could be irritating to read such a rational (negative) post, when its a discussion about your friend or whatever, but you'll have to learn and deal with it I guess. Keep going you 2, Bedman -

dont be mad, its almost flatering id say. i mean u are a pretty good player i think they would ask to have it even if i was a non named level 60  but ah well azbball55, its probobly 80% that im leaveing because of my girlfriend, couldnt be happier 8) Hehe, i couldnt help thinkint that its quite strange to see you with a girlfriend. However, I dont know you at all in real life, and I was basing my view on you on your sig, and that guy doesnt look very friendly :D Good luck in real life, especially with your girl :) I wont be coming to the party since I basicly quit myself. -
I'd expect that out of someone like Zezima. To be honest... I'm surprised N0va was that open in answering some of those questions. He kind of incriminated himself in my opinion. He pretty much implied that he had his life together, went through college, and the whole nine yards... and let a simple little game ruin his life. I would hardly say it's ruined his life. Sure, it's kept him from going into a career right away, but that happens with tons of people for many different reasons. He didn't throw anything away but his time. Honestly, in the long run, there's little/no difference in graduating when you're 22 (not saying this is his age) and going straight into work than there is graduation when you're 22 and going into work when you're 25. In the long run it makes little to no difference. RuneScape makes him happy, so what's wrong with that? To top it off, hundreds of thousands of people around the world know who he is. Would this be the case if he didn't play RuneScape? I'm not saying that everybody should put off work to play RuneScape. For most people that's entirely unfeasable, but he's in a situation such that it's not detrimental to himself to play so much, so let the man enjoy what he does with his life. Quite true. And this guy seems to have some humour, opposing to Zezima. I know this is quite stupid to say. But as far as I've heard about Zezima, this guys seems to be way more spontan, and more charismatic. On the other hand, i totally agree with Zezima for ignoring everyone, and not willing to be interviewed. Its a choice that many would have made.

I dont think it willl ever have a successor thats better in every aspect. Its too hard to get 85 slayer, to just neglect it and make a better weapon. However, I do think that Jagex will come up with some alternatives. For instance a weapon as good as a whip, but for str straining (like someone said), or a risky and costy way to train, with great xp (in some occasions, like Dharok's now. I think it also wouldnt heard to give a special weapon for people with 99 attack. I mean, these people deserve it :)

Man, that SUCKS. I remembered reading your thread on "rate this", and hoping you would make it...

Lol, thanks for the giggle :D

They just made the best quest ever, so shut up.

Green Dragons, Ectofuntus, and the Elusive Prayer Bonus

Boring??? I would say very interesting, but you have to concentrate while reading it, thats for sure. Nice work, gonpost. I see you also like to calculate and compare numbers. -
ST patricks Day, celebrated by the Irish, like St Georges day for the English and St Davids day for the Welsh. Bunno what scotland is. Anyways, I don't think they will do anything, it is too small a holiday, celebrated by too few people for them to see it as relevant. It isn't that small, I mean most of the US celebrates it, just because we don't get work/school off for it doesn't mean it is a small holiday. Its still small. I hardly ever heard of it. As far as i know, Jagex only does a drop at Christmass, easter and haloween.

True, but a new EXPENSIVE ranger armour with NEGATIVE MELEE ATTACK, and good magic defense (to make sure rangers do own mages, since it can be really really hard, and shouldntr be like that) wouldnt hurt. This way, the loot from killing a ranger would be good, and rangers would at least have a good advantage over mages, like it should. Thing is most wouldn't use it, and just continue pking in hides. :( Not if you make it well worth it. But indeed, quite a lot of people would still use hides. However, you see people pking in dharok/ahrims and what not, so why not this new armour?

Whats your favorite part of Recipe for disaster?
bedman replied to SkULLEDPK3R's topic in General Discussion
Looks like Jagex has done a great job. I was afraid that they would have overhyped things again, and made a stupid quest, but this time it doenst seem to be like that. Nice one, Jagex! -
