Its very sad :(
Thats not good, but you think Durial's a hero, so live with it :D Anyway, you're friend's a jerk, but now you can feel how people felt when they got killed by Durial. I hope you will understand it now and remove your siggy... EDIT: I see i wasnt the only one who thinks that. That shows something...

If your main was banned?
Quit I worked WAY too hard on my main to give up all that. My pures suck big time, and they havent got money on them either. Losing 85 magic, 85 mining, 75 crafting, 61 runecrafting, 1140 f2p skill total and my purple phat. NO THANKS!

Septre!
I managed to get all of them before my food ran out. Cant really remember how long. I think it was about an hour to complete the whole thing. The ankous took like 10 min, the cata's 20+, the cave thingies 1 min (got one on second kill :D) and the minotaurs, hmm lets think, those took long... I got over 250 iron arrows while doing it. I guess half an hour.

Why do people buy RARES?
Haha, just the same here, except that i'm talking about a purple party hat. Its just a fact that in f2p, after you have gained a certain amount of money, its too much (well not really, but i semi quit and if i would spend all my money on skills, i would be busy for months using these resources) to spend so you start looking for rares. First you get a santa or mask, but then you want to get higher and look for the phats. That is the ultimate thing to achieve for a f2per IMO (itemwise). Ever since i owned a green phat and sold it, i wanted one back and eventually got it. It makes me feel proud that I have achieved something that very few people have

Old ones remember, new ones get schooled!
Nice pictures here, especially the last ones. However, I wast around back then. Only started playing just after santa's got dropped (bought one for 60k back then :D) and stayed quite noobish on rsc (I think I was 65 combat when they changed it to rs2). Thats why I dont really think those were "the times". I didnt participate in pking (well not really, i tried but was too impure and hadnt got the guts ) , nor had i close friends which who i could have fun events and pull crackers on, or whatever. One last thing: I find it quite annoying how people exaggerate about rsc. Yes RSC was cool, but isnt RS2 also cool? Why are there so much players now eh? I guess its human nature to say the times that are past are better. Actually it is, dont you see yourself idealizing your youth? I do for sure. And Elvarg was harder, thats true, but its not that he was unbeatable. I was scared to do the quest but when i eventually did it, it was a piece of cake. (i was 49 combat). About the combat lvl: all combat lvls of monsters got lowered to make it more realistic (before you could beat a lvl 110 monster easily as a lvl 50, not so realistic...). This doesnt mean they got "harder". The dragon has become easier 'cause now you can eat while in combat, not because some numbers have changed...

Few Screenshots
I dont really like the green and the red together... Its good for you that you have a green mask, but you're not obliged to wear and show it off everywhere, ya know 8-) David, Bloodyrb was asking Bia Bf about his slayer, not you

A RUNESCAPER MAYBE DIED =(
If it is so serious, why the hell are you typing "lol" at the end. IF this is true, then there is nothing to laugh about. You also might to take care about your sentences. Spaces, capitals, the usual crap...

science law violations - for fun only!!
I think the creator of this topic is pretty aware that Runescape is "just a game". He just wanted to make a fun topic where you could think a bit about all those things in Runescape that cant in real life. However, there are already quite a few topics about that (though, not with an emphasis on science, but still), and they mostly get ruined by people saying "its just a game". So the outcome of this thread was quite predictable, even though its sad that most of the people here refuse to contribute to the topic by stating the obvious over and over again... EVERYONE KNOWS ITS JUST A GAME, AND THAT THERE ARE LOTS OF THINGS THAT CANT HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE, but why not have some fun by finding these things?? (some are quite funny :D)

Wow. (RS Economy)
So what? You probably also think that you are "better" then one of these level 3's with 100's of mils because you got better skills? People play this game for totally different reasons you know, learn to respect that, instead of comming with the age old ridiculous "merchants are ruining the economy!" statement, that lacks any kind of logical reasoning. Merchants and skillers have a lot more in common then everyone thinks. People who say that merchanting is a lot easier then skilling don't know what they are talking about. They both require a big deal of patience, patience and even more patience. Couldnt agree more. I'm not really a merchant myself (did it a few times though), but i do understand why they do it. They are indeed doing nothing wrong, at all. Its not that the price of new items is controlled by merchants. It are actually the skillers, who just got it by their skill, who decide how high they sell the brand new item. Then the merchants come in and play with the yet unknown prices. But do they manipulate them? Nope.

if you could have any RS item in real life...
Ive already got a santa, and my bro made a "rune kite" back in the days . Lets see... A toy horsy!

The rarest rare?
Hehe, Imagine having a jug of (half) wine on your head... :-k IMO the half wine is also the rarest, or maybe the cracker. The blue not for sure, thats just because of the market, nothing to do with rareness.

GOD AND TRIM ARMORS GOING LOW!
Finally a good answer. People are looking way too far, construction, phat dupes, etc... :D There are just coming a lot of treasure trail items in game, more than people need.

a few tips for f2p runecrafting
Nice summarizing. I would like to add that earth runes are also quite good xp. I had about 5k body runes from training so i made myself 15k earth runes with runecrafting (i could make triples) which was actually reasonable xp. In between i altered between minds (made about 30k of them, so only about 5-7k ess, i teleported to fally) and airs. So I mostly did airs yes. And it IS boring. My runecrafting is now lvl 60 (for more than 8 months already :D), but I might plan to get it to 65 with the world 16 company. If its true that yo u dont loose to much money then, and if it really is 20k (or more i understood) an hour...

is the dragon chain really anything special anymore?
Hmm, lets do the math... .... Wow, Torag does seem like a better option. But wait! It gets better! Thanks to the new POH Workshop, at level 55 Construction, you can cut your repair costs in half! That's right! Now you have 254 days with that armor! But wait, there's more! That's 69.6% of a year! And that's playing 24 hours a day! Wow... so again, why would you want a dragon chain? Oh yeah, because you're greedy and you want to show off your ability to scam people, great move, ya swell person. dragon chain vs torag = longevity(sp?) a drag chain just looks so much better, and it can be worn without any idea of spending $ if a swarm attacks you. i understand where u are comming from completly, but 1, torag looks ugly 2, people could melee 15 hours straight and then have to fix it...thats a waiste of leavin a spot and yeah well is their really a different in torag plate vs dragon chain? i mean honestly is that 20-30 def points going to get me killed? at 90+ def i doubt it... looking good is a part of it to. and no, the chain means nothing now really. i see people who have them who are like, omg im richer then u, im like omg im 40 combat lvls over you... spending all ur time on world 2 sure isnt how this game was meant to be played =; Since when was this game a fashion show? Jesus, get a grip! Hell yeah, it is! Why else is there trimmed armour, gold armour, god armour, ... Why do people wear party hats? Why do people wear camel heads? Why do people wear full zammy and a red mask? Why do people wear bunny ears, mudskippers, and veracs armour? Why do people wear glass bowls on their head??? Why are people saving money (well, some of them)? To buy some nice armour/a rare Fashion my dear, fashion. To look cool Btw: If I would get a chain myself as a drop, I wouldnt sell it. But I wouldn ever buy it either. But a drop, hell yeah, keep it and try to complete the full set. It still means something, especially if you got the whole set yourself as a drop.

f2pers/former members: 5 things you'd like added to f2p?
1) More bank space 2) Better ranged equipment (up to rune arrows and red/black hides). Give p2p something new to compensate that. 3) Splitbark armour or mystic (but higher defence requirements when worn on f2p'ers so that pure mages cant get an advantage of it (thep problem with mages is at 80+ combat, so it would need like 60-70def)). 4) Higher lvl monsters with some rare drops (a greater demon just isnt sufficient. Perhaps green/blue/red (one of them, not all, would be too much :D) dragons and being able to craft their hides? 5) Teleblock + better spells (again for combat 80+ mages) If these 5 would be implemented, i would be more than happy :D

my very trustworthy friend. (with pic)
I've had pretty much enough of people documenting their daily RS lives in General P2P. If I wanted, I could tell you every minute detail about how I walked from Edgeville to Barbarian Village, and back again. I could tell you how I found 300GP on the ground. But honestly, you wouldn't care. And frankly I don't care. So please, share your personal experiences with friends, I'm sure they'll appreciate the uselessness of your tales. Why dont you go and kick yourself? You're not contributing to this forum at all... Anyway, i also lent my phat to a friend, and he did gave it back. It did feel weird though. Oh yeah, he's also far family from me (hehe, makes it less spectacular), but I do have one other friend who i could give it, and where i am 100 percent sure of that he would give it back. And I dont know that guy irl. However those are rare. In my whole friendlist only 5-6...
