  1. It depends on what you percieve as an achievement. If you only count in the amount of work, zezima "owns" Slayerbelle bigtime. (and tbh, never heard about Slayerbelle :-$ )
  2. that would be me except the crying and social life part. i hold school as the LOWEST part of my life.. I'm not an introvert so social life is ok. and i play 15+ hours daily.. so yep. a nolifer would be th3warr1or So if you have exams for example, you go play Runescape instead of studying? And 15+ hours daily? Sorry but that's no-life in my eyes. Play Runescape 15 hours, eat and drink for 1.5 hours. Hmm, where is the social life? I bet he plays RS while eating. So that leaves about 1 hour (if you sleep 8 horus a day, which is, for me, not even enough) for friends, going to school, communicating with parents, girlfriend, exercising (sport), ... Seems a lot to fit in just one hour eh :D
  3. Yeah, its crazy. Seems a bit fishy. Yesterday they were like the lowest in 1.5 years, and now 12 hours later or so, they rebounced back to their original (read: aftar the GE/duel arena crash, but before they started totally crashing, red 220m, yellow 172 etc...) position. Well yeah, good I kept my red one. I could have gained about 40m though if I would have played it smart...
  4. If I would buy skills with all the money I'd get when selling my hat, I would be busy training for a few years. I dont have that time. + I dont like to just "buy" skills. Rather get em myself.
  5. so godly for everyone but merchants I made more money on the ge, merchanting, than i ever did before. Granted you have enough base cash (100m+) its awesome. Since you are whining that merchanting is gone, i assume you are a merchanter, so i asume you have at least 100m. Thus I say: go out, use your brains, and make money on the GE too! (if you haven't made 100m+ of merchanting, then don't whine, since you obviously * at merchanting).
  6. What are "mats"? Sorry if its a supid question
  7. you can kill em in f2p. Did that when i accidently was f2p for a week. The only usefull thing i could do :D
  8. Why not just keep the lending like it used to be? I lend an item to a friend. Once it is lended, he is responsible for it. If he dies, too bad, I (the lender) lose... If he doesnt die, and I, or he, logs out, I get it back. Simple, no? Of course this would still be a bit hard if your friend is dk'ing with your gear. You'll basicly have to stay logged in 'till he's done. And IF he loses it, there's no way for him to refund you. So for the one lending the item, it would be a fight without risks (though, you'll have a mad friend in the end). I guess this really IS a challenge for Jagex. But hey, they are payed for that 8-)
  9. Theory: Jagex mod's where bored so they secretely made some uber strong characters, made them look like monsters, and then killed everyone they saw. Then they read the tip it forums and laught about people who think it are just npc's. Or not.... :-k \
  10. Excusez-moi, votre Anglais est vraiment terrible. On dirait que vous n'essayez m̮̻̉̉me pas. Merci. \
  11. Much worse. No pker in f2p has EVER hit consecutive 25's on me, while binding and teleblocking. For f2p they are a huge overkill. For p2p, I think they can be ovecome. Since the wild is no long "the wild", you can now safely bring your best gear on clues. You die? You've got 5 min, thats doable. In f2p, even with the best gear, you totally get pwned.
  12. I'd leave that one out :) -Hey mate, just got a d axe. -Share? -Can't, limited trades... -What about lootshare? -Hmm okay, ill stay here till you get something ....*some time later*... -woot, another axe! -share? -can't, limited trades... -what about lootshare, we just put it on. I should have gotten that axe. -hmm, ill stay here till you get 2 axes yourself too. ...
  13. Bought 610k iron ore at 74 each. Sold at 81 each. Bought 30k yews at 410 each. Sold at 430 each. I'm thinking about buying 1 million maple logs. If jagex implements this minimum price thing, they might be going up a bit. Every gp they go up would mean a mill for me :-). Only downside is it'd have to go fast. I dont like all my money being put in one item and not being able to sell it.
  14. Hehe, i remember reading this and thinking: "hmm there is some sense in it, but Jagex would NEVER go that far!". Guess I was wrong. YOu owned us all. Grats :D
  15. I think they can still rise through the GE. Anyway, I think we can expect some interesting changes for them, thats for sure. But obsolete, dunno...
  16. Wait. Is R2 now the leader of a cheating site?
  17. I don't like the fact Jagex is interferring with the prices. Set minimum prices, buying items themselves (through the shops they will introduce that buy your raw materials at a low, but still reasonable price). Say they introduce some "maple trader" NPC who buys your maples at 70 each. Normally, money would only be transferred from one player to another. This way, a lot of extra gp would enter the game. This isnt "natural". I do understand they *had* to do something. Once you start interferring (setting prices in GE, yet adaptable), you'll have to keep tweeking it. A computer program can never replace the flexibility of a real player market. Or at least, their program aint doing it.
  18. Excuse me, farming is one of my favourite skills. Its the only skill that is totally different. You gain xp while being offline. You obviously never seriously tried it. (Yes I know, in the beginning the skill seems quite overwhelming, but with a little bit of brains, you will be able to get used to it, and use it to your advantage. You are obviously lacking that minimal amount of brain cells). If you would have said hunter was a flop, i could at least agree a bit. Hunter is pretty much the same all over. No real use. (okay, chins, but thats about it). Whereas farming provides the herborist to actually make money and get his own herbs.
  19. Oh, I can do math problems. I'm just too lazy to get those few fractions of pennies, after pennies, after pennies. Actually, there is way less work involved now with the GE. Log in, put an offer, log out. Whereas old merchanting: look around for deals all day. Would have expected a more insight response from you...
  20. Thats what i'm trying to explain in some other topic (how do you make money). Nice one :-). What Duke sais: dunno if its that difficult to understand how it works? Before GE you could make bigger profits (higher than 5%), cut some really nice unexpected deals. Now its everything "en masse". Predictable, but also reliable, and no hassle of looking for buyers/sellers. Just put it in the GE, do something else tada. So as long as you got a few 100s of mill to invest, you can make tons of money selling and reselling some random item (coal, yews, pure ess, iron ore, runes, ...) at a 1-5gp profit.
  21. I'm quite sure it will still be possible to merchant. If they keep the GE like it is, with the 5% diff. you can still make large profits. You can make a maximum of 10% profit. If you invest a few M, that becomes quite a bit. Magekillr claims he can make 20m a day with GE. I believe him. Buying VERY large bulk (i'm talking about millions of items) is very easy now. Selling them too. 5 gp price difference aint much. But if you multiply that by 1 million, youve got yourself a nice 5M profit. Want to try it out? Go to GE, put in 500m, and look to buy 1m, uhmm, say yew logs. After a day or so, you will have them. Then sell them for 5gp more than you bought them. Might take a bit longer, but still. 5M profit, no hassle at all. With the 3k trade limit, this might work even better. Because of the limit, everybody will be FORCED to use the GE (unless you want to be forced to sell your 10k natures 275 each on the dot, and not, say, 270 each). So you will get your mass amount of materials really fast (and resell it really fast too). What i'm curious about, is rares. Rares have always been something special, easily manipulated, cause there are so few. With the GE, it will become really impersonal, you dont see how many are sold, how many buyers there are etc... hmmm :-)
  22. Since there will be no more autoers at green dragons, and no more pkers, (I'm assuming it, HOPING, that the rwt problem is fixed now. Would be ironic if they still find ways) green dragon slayering will become more profitable and safer (?). Not sure bout the last thing. Those revenants can be quite deadly. But I think, as soon as people know more about it, you will be able to use some "counter tricks" to avoid/escape them.
  23. Just went to wild. For f2p'ers, those revenanted, quite rare though (i got a lvl 105 after 15 min wandering around in wild), are FAR MORE DEADLY then any player you can meet. He hit me a few 25s and goodbye bedman :-). In p2p, we are talking about something else. I think i'd rather meet a revenant than a guy in full ahrim with dds and barrages.
  24. "I think i know the solution..." You obviously DON'T. Why: read what hohto and stan18 said. I don't get how a lvl 120+ can still be so ignorant. The way hohto sais it, there is NO way to misunderstand it...
