I love farming, but I do understand why people hate it. Actually, in the beginning, I was "afraid" of farming too. It seemed way too complicated. But once I started it and got the hang of it, I loved it. Now, 2.5 months I'm already 75 farming. Its my highest member skill. However, I hate flethcing, a skill most people love. Its so boring, just clicking once every minute and then waiting. And the xp you get isnt that fantastic, nor is the money. About the reason people hate it: It's requires some preparation, knowledge and BRAINS. You must remember when you can check your herbs, find out a good route etc. I guess some people are just too stupid for that, and can only bash on monsters or fletch a few million bows in a bank.

Very nice, but get runecrafting, crafting and fishing up. I used to be a 1130+ f2p'er (got p2p) and had 75 crafting, 80 smithing, 60 runecrafting (and also 85 magic and others). So you should be able to get that too :D. (difference with me: i only had 75 str, 70 att and def and lower wc en firemaking)

Very nice. This made me think to start dk'ing too. Never did it before, but hey, there has to be a start for everything. However, ill first watch some vids and guides before actually starting. Btw, i'm also from belgium, and have a purple phat :D.

Old Timer Started playing just after santa's came out. At the beginning for Rs2 i was 65 combat, with around 600-700 skill total (f2p). Now i'm 100 combat with 1685 skill total (member). Actually its quite similar to peronix :-).

The problem with your theory is that clues are not cost-effective, even with Third Age items at 150M apiece. I mean, do the math on it, if the odds of finding a 3rd Age item is 1 in 12,000, and a Clue takes on average 45 Minutes to complete (which is extremely fast, but we'll assume you're a very good Treasure finder), and there's approximately 10 Third Age Items, so you find one piece every 1,200 clues, then at 150M per piece, this works out to 150M every 900 Hours, or 166K per hour. You can make double that running Nature Runes. You forgot to add all the other rewards you will be getting. There will be at least a few robins etc in those 12k clues...

Nice guide. When i started hunting on my own i tried ferrets and rabbits, but they were actually miserable xp. Then i followed your (easy, comprehensible) Guide, and went to lizards. And i must admit, they are grat! At lvl 40 i'm getting about 36k an hour, if i stay focused of course. I guess thats not bad. I will stay here till lvl 47. No falconry for me, it seems this is better anyway.

Great guide At 61 thieving, using your method, I seem to get about 6k per plunder (of 5 minutes). This gets me a max of 72k. Not bad i guess, but not as good at all as your 198k... Am I doing something wrong, or is there just so much difference when i can go up to room 8 in stead of up to room 5?

I still think healer has the hardest job. Defender has the most stressful job (Cause its so damn hard to get the runners on the trap) but you dont realy need one (Except on the queen wave) since you can kill the runners with the egg cannon. Collecter has an easy job and it helps alot towars the end. Attackers job is plain and simple but requires alot of trust on the collector to yell out the right atks constantly. I understand sometimes you forget but constantly forgetting to call out the atk your supposed to do can sometimes get very annoying. I totally agree with you (and mostly also with the creator of this topic). I started to be a healer (first i was the second attacker, then we figured out 2 healers are more needed) in round 9. I could only heal 10 and it was very very stressfull. After like 5 tries, we made it through round 9 (we = random team, every 3 or so waves, someone left...) and we went to queen. With 2 attackers, and I as the only (lvl1) healer, we miserably failed. So i restarted again at wave one to collect more points. Got stuck in wave 7 (team left again, and finding a good new one takes AGES. Then i FINALLY found a good reliable team, with an EXCELLENT defender (he got lvl 5 through the process) and then we went just up to the queen and made it. I was so glad (and yes, we used 2 healers then, two lvl 3's including me)

I am stuck in round 10, cant find a good team. I can be attacker, healer or collector. I have, though, never killed the queen before (but i think i quite know what to do :D)

I guess i should do that. Yesterday, ive been trying to kill the queen with some random teams for 2-3 hours. And still we didn't manage. There was always at least one person who didnt know what to do (including me sometimes ). Btw, you need to kill ALL penances before you can shoot omega eggs on the queen? (because the queen appears BEFORE you killed all the penances, yet ive got a message i cant shoot the eggs yet (when i was collector). Oh yeah, one more question: how much does such a granite plate cost?

Same In the beginning, i was hesistating to use it on farming, but once i got to start training farming the *real* way (tree seeds), i'd rather use it on about any other skill (actually: slayer, construction, thats about it :D), than farming. Farming is my highest member skill by far now (lvl 74 :D)

this begs me to wonder what location you are mining your gold at :) Brimhaven, using fairy rings and whistles :-w Whistles? (i remember something with whistles in one of the holy grail quests, but thats way too long ago)

I am quite sure it wont be harder than Desert Treasure, RFD, or legends.

1. Not beign online when bunny ears were dropped 2. Not being online when Scythes were dropped 3. Being stupid with rares (selling green phat at 10m, not buying extra masks with extra cash, etc...) 4. Getting members. So addictive...

challenge those kinds of pures to a duel, be like u can wear full torag and ill wear nothing and we will see who owns who. Weren't you like totally "anti-torage"? :D

I use pray pot only on karil in tunnel. Thats about it. Only 50 trips experience :D

Somehow it must be linked to that yes. But i know rares are expensive because there is no supply, yet more and more people playing the game. Thats quite basic :D I meant relative prices. This explains the barrows things for the most, but still, I rest my case there are some "inexplainable" prices out there :-) EDIT: just tought about it, why is a guthan spear more expensive than the helm? Doesn't it protect over helm? And if it doesn't and thats the reason why spear is so expensive, then why is veracs flail so cheap?

Lately i've been doing a lot of barrows (I like it!) and, when selling my drops, i came to wonder: Why is a guthan's helm worth more than a guthan plate? A plate is quite a bit more useful than the helm imo... Or: Why is a Veracs Brassard worth more than a guthan plate? The guthan set is way more expensive as a total set AND provides beter defence (guthan body <-> veracs brassard). And then i came - of course - to rares. Why is a blue phat worth more than a red phat. Because people like the collers? Well tell me then why a red mask is more expensive than a blue one... I'm sure there are other "unlogic" prices out there, so what do you think about it?! Did I forget a something (that explains the price differences), is it totally random, ... ? Discuss!!!

In the time you get 85 slayer, you will have made much more money than the "small" amount of 1.9m fora whip. Period If you say you dont want to "waste" money and get it for "free", alright. But you claiming you wil never be able to afford one, is a bit silly.
