85 mining: one of the only good money makes in f2p 85 magic: You have to spend your money on something in f2p, and I like magic so... I also thought my fire blasts would be much more accurate, but that didnt really come true :( (I also spent a lot of money on smithing, but that goes together with magic).

who said killing dragons in any manner was bug abuse? I overlooked it I guess. Only thing I saw was his analogy to dragon and wyverns. The problem with this analogy is that dragons and wyverns are completely different creatures. Anybody can fight a dragon, no slayer level or specific items are said to be REQUIRED to do so. Dragonfire shields are only a strong suggestion... and only necessary if you intend to fight dragons for a long period of time. (I'd love to see how many iron dragons you kill without an antifire shield) Some slayer monsters, UNLIKE dragons, have REQUIRED items in order to fight or kill them. Obviously the shield is meant to be required if it is on the list, so I don't see how this thread is any different than the people complaining when Jagex fixed the guthix rest bug while they were solo-ing the KQ with it. If the shield is on the required items list, you should've been playing as if the bug didn't exist. Not completely true at all. First of all...I already adressed this...but I guess I have to say it again. If the Wyvern would happen to not use any ice breath, you could easily kill it. Regardless as to if you were wearing a shield or not. However, without the proper equipment for other monsters, you cannot kill them. Or, in most cases, you cannot even damage them. So many people are losing the meaning of this post. I'm not saying it SHOULDNT be this way, I'm saying they should give us a heads up on these sorts of updates. I also wish that 90% of the people would bother reading the entire thread before posting. Come on, its not even 5 pages yet... This would be like them all of a sudden making protection prayers completely useless at Barrows and saying it was a "bug" in the first place that you could use prayer. I saw what type of damage the ice attack used, and I used the appropriate protection prayer for it, how in the world is THAT bug abuse? Thats like saying using a magic prayer at any dragons is bug abuse...or prayer switching on JAd is bug abuse. Bottom line, I didn't think it was a bug, they didn't make an announcement that they changed it, and I died. All I'm saying is that they need to make more public bug announcements, especially those that can potentially kill someone. Also, I've never had to report a bug before, so I had no clue about that screen that listed all the known bugs. WHen did they announce this? How are we supposed to know about it if we've never found a bug before? I guess I'll start checking this screen more frequently...but it's such a stupid inconvenience. You all act like I'm just here to complain about my death...for the love of Mike, I'm just trying to warn anyone who happened to discover the same thing with Wyverns. I wouldn't be angry if I died anywhere in the game and lost everything I had. I'm just getting very annoyed with Jagex's customer support. If you read my last post on this thread you would understand that we do not need warning because only an idiot would go solo at the Skeletal Wyverns without an elemental shield. Whether you did or not isn't the purpose of this thread correct? We don't need your warning. When that new update comes, let us hope that this seemingly pointless thread will die. I dont think he would be using verac's (so no elemental shield) if it doesnt give a fairly big advantage. He probably kills them way faster then normal (since verac's special ignores his massive defense from time to time).

Can you please stop being close-minded and accept that you needed an elemental shield? If you remember the update when they were released you should remember it said you shouldn't venture down unless you have an elemental shield. I agree with mywepons...

there's a button on your keyboard which says "CAPS LOCK" press it. but if drops were random i would have the same chance of getting a drag half shield as getting coins. there are CHANCES behind the drops. explain why i don't get 20 half shields in a trip if i'm wrong. You are wrong. Drops are indeed random, but their probability is different. The probability of getting coins is waay bigger then the probability of getting a dragon half shield. But i guess you already knew that...

There is no promise of updating every week. That comment alone makes you ignorant, and some will call you an RS2 product. I find them useful...of course I buy mine though :P. Okay, I admit, my response was a bit stupid. I didnt really think about it, and if it indeed came out with the abyss, I am totally wrong. I apolagise. However, I stay with my statement that they should update less, but look at the quality of each update.

In his simulation, if he picked forever, he would have eventually gotten a red bead because there are only so many beads. As true as you can get. I am quite sick of all the people comlaining about the ROW. STATISTICALLY, it has an effect. But people forgot that those are only statistics, and that it's still all about luck. I guess some people dont understand what # % chance means... Wow man, jagex has gone over the top. I got really mad when i read it, when I usually dont care at all about other people's problems. This is so unfair. However, there was some relief when i read you at least got your account back. Too bad for your daughter and her colourful toys... I also like the fact that you dont care at all about the rares itself. Shows you arent such a materialist as the majority of the community (including me, to be honest). On the other hand, its logic that the value of rares isnt so important anymore, when you're talking about losing 5 years of hard work. Respect for you. Shame on you, Jagex
