  1. I would go with sharks or tuna pot. I'm a bit lazy to make pota. but shark fishing is quite easy since all I do is watch my character go up and down. =P I have lobs for training most of the time or monkfish, which ever I have from fishing. Pizza does sound like a good choice for training so I might make some in my spare time. I would say go for tuna pot. or sharks. Sara brew works well in pvp with s restore to heal prayer and hp.
  2. Dang, full on fish and rest flax seems nice. Is it a better profit than full on coal and rest flax? Those raw fishes really appealed to my cooking lvl. So close to 99, yet so far away.
  3. combat skill, except you don't gain combat levels xD
  4. That's the best way. You can replace replace the Duel Rings with Glories if you have enough though, or you can use a mounted glory. Either way, house teleport is a must. If they're house is in Yanille, isn't the run to the bank and back pretty fast already? Is there a need for teleports?
  5. Thank and congrats on the fire cape. Almost forgot the shield spot, thank you ^^ I'll probably stick with Guthix's book instead of Zammy since I'm still finishing up Sara. Any other options for the shield spot? I'll attempt it with these stats since I'm a bit lazy...I'll probably get the range level once Jagex fixes the monkeys. I'll see if I can find a free gilded altar somewhere... Thanks, I'll get the archer ring then. The thought of selling it back didn't cross my mind since I didn't really planned on buying anything except bolts, lol. I'll stick with the karils top as well. Thanks =)
  6. I don't really like others sharing accounts, but I know a few who do, but sadly, the outcome wasn't pretty. Even now and then if my cousin has to eat/use the bathroom, I don't mind doing some tasks for her.
  7. I've looked at muggiwhplar's updated guide on it already and achieved a fire cape before the vertical moving update. I'm assuming it's not any harder, but with all these new items appearing these past few months I'm confused on what to use. I won't be using Guthans and will be ranging the entire time. I used crystal bows before, but I heard bolts are now better? Jad certainly felt like it took forever and I would pay any price to make the prayer switching torture to go away faster. Stats: 107 cb 82 def 84 range 64 pray 88 hp 73 agil Need any other stats? Just ask. I'll be using V helm Trimmed 99 cape or accumulator if I use bolts?! Fury Rune c bow? Karils top unless that Armadyl Chestplate is really worth that that extra 12-14m V skirt Gloves - Barrows Ranger boots Ring of recoil - any other ring worth bringing? I'm assuming the accumulator is the better choice, but I haven't compared the stats and figured out if it really doesn't matter if I'm using bolts. I can raise my range lvl a couple more lvls if monkeys are fix and I'm planning to burn some money and get 70 pray. Should I wait or just attempt it now? For the bolts, should I use addy all the way or what? I heard diamond e is good on Jad and other tough spots I might have. What would be a safe amount to bring since running out of ammo is the worst thing ever... Does there need to be any changes made to the amount of potions I bring? 3 range, 18 s restore, and 6 brews? Is that the right amount of pots or should I change it around? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can one use karil's crossbow instead of the rune c bow? Assuming that it has more stat bonuses and can fire ammo other than bolt racks.
  8. A useful guide that will get me from 64-69 for the quest. I'll save a couple of millions and maybe earn a couple hundred. Thanks for the guide, it's awesome.
  9. Definitely a useful guide when I become way richer with better stats. I'll probably blow off the irons or mage them. A great guide though and summoning seems quite useful.
  10. 9-11 hours a day?! Holy... I think my eyes would die and my brain would become a mud puddle... I can only manage 1k on my good days through lots of encouragement from my friends. If i'm solo fishing...less than 500 >.> I browsed other forums and forget about fishing. Fly fishing is faster, but are you using the lobs for cooking or selling them? Monks are also a good option like the other player said. Sharks later on maybe? If you want some cash that is. Good luck and do remember not to kill your eyes...
  11. Just do both of the quests and try out both masters. I mean, c'mon. Quests are fun ^^ Shilo was thrilling to me, lol...or I just might be a quest addict. I would go with Sumona though. I seem to like her tasks better, but Duradel isn't bad.
  12. *looks at how much exp I get at other monsters* *smacks self in head and looks at pile of money in bank* If they're really fixing the monkeys, I'm definitely buying some and blasting me some monkey ribs. Around 150k for 85 range? *drools* I get like 20k an hour...or that's because I'm lazy xD Hmm...a level under than 3 hours? That sounds good to me. Might give me a reason to catch some more chins and raise my hunter. Thanks for the thread and hopefully the monkeys will be fixed so they can become monkey chow =P
  13. First off - P2P or F2P? If you want your crafting up, why not spin flax? Great way to make some money and get exp! Sell the hides and buy some flax if your P2P. If your F2P, why do you think you'll need a higher crafting right NOW? I would just sell them and continue killing monsters. Maybe not cows for hides, but there's other ways of making money. Cows are way too boring with their awful mooing. Sell it, buy some good armour/weps/etc and have some fun not slaying those wretched cows. If you need the money right now for something, sell it and go make more money. ^^ RS isn't all about cowhides or money for that matter, even if it's important.
  14. It's definitely overrated, but it wasn't always so. It's quite long and it's challenging than more quests, but it's no longer the hardest quest.
  15. I agree, the surprise is part of the fun. I remember wandering around for hours to find this event and that event, but then eventually someone leaked it. It made it way more fun to not give us all the details, but giving us enough without being cruel.
  16. Being able to talk to your friends while banking and check your stats and etc. It's annoying to be cleaning your bank when someone pms you and forces you to close the bank to reply back.
  17. Burning yews are fun! I remember burning 10k before they became 400 each >.> Was too lazy to bank them, lol. I burn maples now though...got way too many.
  18. Never checked out wow, but aren't their suscription fees more than RS? I heard it's constant grinding of hours and hours after lvl 60 or 70. I didn't even grind at all in RS, I just had fun, even if hours of 'fun'. I never liked the expansion sets and etc. I guess they have way better graphics or gameplay? Hard to really imagine that though, since it's not so bad here.
  19. Eh, I probably won't get it...I have enough books to read and it'll probably only fuel my RS addiction.
  20. Another reason why I probably won't mess with summoning until summer vacation or so. Oh well...plenty more skills to raise. :XD:
  21. I agree, I suppose there's more of challenge with the deeper learning curve, but thankfully not too difficult compared to other games I have tried out.
  22. Yeah, I didn't have to worry so much about money or competing much since most people don't have 99s. With membership comes a huge load of stress and responsibilities. Worrying about your cash, friends, skills, combat, and also handling your real life.
  23. I doubt it and I hope not since I liked it compacted into my browser so I can multi-task. If they do offer the option, they better have an alternative to it.
  24. A week up to a month...Not in the mood to get my combat up even though it's really tempting. I'll probably take this chance to be able to score some empty hunting spots if the update doesn't really need the players to be hunting.
  25. You can't, tried and failed. Besides, the screen is too small and there's no point in doing so.
