  1. Aack! I'm going to be gone on a computer programming course the 14th-25th! I'm going to miss the entire E3 this year ;-(
  2. Hey Dadieseldude, I requested to join the Tip.it Rockers group.
  3. Congradulations, and just in time for the holidays! :) I love the new "Moderator Trainee" avatar picture
  4. I'm glad someone is willing to make a quality Runescape Podcast/Vodcast! :) If you want my advice about the time requirements per episode, I think the hour is perfect for audio only. However if you plan on releasing Vodcasts as well, I think they should be only around half an hour. Since Runescape is updated each week I think you guys should be able to pull it off. I listen to a lot of podcasts: [hide][/hide] (Case in point) And I've noticed the lack of a good Runescape Podcast, so if there is anything I could do to help out just tell me (PM, Email, etc.) If I can do any of the online stuff or help out on the website I would be more than willing. Although don't want to be a podcast host (At this time at least.)
  5. What's with the blind hate? You ever played Halo 3? Assassin's Creed has no multiplayer with a pretty linear gameplay. Halo 3's main feature is online matchmaking. Can't even compare them. Completed it. And Assassins Creed. You "Completed" Halo 3? You have all achievements/medals/armor perms/ and Level 50? I only say this because I believe the debate here is about the re-playability, and you say it has very little when I believe is has quite a lot.
  6. Halo is a very opinionated game (as you might be able to see by the comments.) It's a usual love/hate relationship in which you usually fall hard for the game, or you just don't like it (and dislike it even more because of the hype attached to a Halo title.) I can't help but write from a baised perspective since I'm definitely an addict of the game, but I can tell you several things about the game: 1) The game is not worth it unless you have Xbox Live. Many people might argue differently, but the fact is there are far better single player games (Unless you have played the other Halo's and read the books, in which case the single player game acually becomes much more epic and understandable.) 2)The multiplayer has a large "learning curve" so to speak. Halo multiplayer is a blast, and can be incredibly exciting and fun... when you are good at it. Chances are when you first get the game and use Online Multiplayer you will get smoked. It takes a lot of time to get used to the multiplayer, and the competition is intense and usually very good. The good part about Halo 3 is that it's not as bad as Halo 2 because of the TrueSkill matching. Don't let that fool you however. This is often the deciding point as you might not have very much fun online for the first week until you get a lot better. 3) The game is well made, and has tons of replay value. I mean, you really can't argue that. Through all it's faults, Halo remains exceptional. Online Co-op for up to 4 players, Forge Mode (Multiplayer Editer- Turned into a game!), the Theatre/Saved Films, one of the best multiplayers of all time, a fun campaign with loads of easter eggs, and great graphics (If you have a good TV.) You will have fun with the game if you give it enough time, and for all the games out there right now I think it is a good investment. That's my recommendation.
  7. Well I just bought the GH3 Bundle (With Guitar) and I have to say I'm impressed! It's really fun, the song list is excellent, and the Guitar is even slicker! In the Sunday Adds, you might even find a few Deals For GH3. Keep Rockin'!
  8. I think Rune signifies magic, and scape is an area of land. Together I think the name is suppoesed to give the impression of a Magical World or Runescape.
  9. I still have four achievements left (4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th level Meta-Game.) I'm a Major right now, and if anyone wants to party up with me, I'm all for it! :) All though I won't be on tonight (Party), my gamertag is "Highimpact1".
  10. It's the guide to Everything Fletching :P Already in Section 4.1- Powerfletching, but I appreciate the information. Can you list some more accurate prices? And thanks.
  11. I signed up for the forums around 3-4 months after I found the main site. :)
  12. Well the new shop update helped... and possibly hurt fletching too. You are now able to "Sell 50" at a time, making it considerably easier to sell to stores, however I'm in the mist of checking out the new prices of Ali the Trader. It is probable that the Nature Rune prices have now risen due to unlimited stock.
  13. I'm sorry if my post was taken the wrong way, or started any flaming. I too, love this new mage training idea, and congradulate as well as thank you for posting it. What I meant by my previous post was (Before the shop updates) you could buy nats for 225 each (Ali) and only lost around 7gp per bow alched (And that count's buying the Yew Longbow). However, now I realize you are unable to to do this since the prices have probably skyrocketed due to unlimited stock. I did not realize this when I posted, and I am sorry for misleading anyone. Thanks for posting this helpful topic :)
  14. Personally I've acually found the marines pretty helpful (However I'll admit the AI for the Arbiter should be improved :) ). Edit- Guide postponed until I can research more into the rank system.
  15. Ya, but don't tell too many people... :-$ Joking :P . But yes, Halo 3 came out on the 25th. The Guide will be delayed until tomorrow, sorry if this inconvieniences anyone.
  16. If you are losing money by using the Yew Long/High Alching method then you are doing in the wrong way. Why would I want to use your method which I lose 97 gp, instead of using the Yew Alching idea where I gain xp and money?
  17. Halo 3 Guides & Faqs Well we all know Halo 3 has now been released and many people have questions. Hopefully this will become a vast knowlege-base of information about the game, and I want you guys to contribute! I will be basing most of my preliminary information from Bungie.net, and usercontributed guides (Like a "Superguide"). I realize there is a thread titled "Halo 3" however that was created before the release of Halo 3 and currently contains all but speculation in the main post. Table of Contents Campaign -Levels -Difficulties -Strategies -Achievements -Scoring -Skulls -Terminals Multiplayer -Levels -Matchmaking -Ranking -Forge -Theatre -Achievements -Strategies Miscellaneous -Coming Soon (Maybe Short Guides, Glitches, Etc.) ~--Campaign--~ ~Levels The Campaign in Halo 3 consists of exactly 9 levels; 1. Arrival/Sierra 117 2. Crow's Nest 3. Tsavo Highway 4. The Storm 5. Floodgate 6. The Ark 7. The Covenant 8. Cortana 9. Halo Strategy throughout the levels will be added in from more user contributions. ~Difficulties There are 4 modes; Easy Normal Heroic Legendary If you play on easy, you get a simple game with a great storyline, however you get no achievements for beating any of the levels or campaign. Also, no skulls appear on for any difficulty below normal. Normal is the average default game, great for the casual single gamer. Every skull appears when you play on this difficulty, and you can unlock achievements for beating the campaign. Heroic is a challange great for a coop pair to face. You not only get the achievement for beating the game on heroic, but you also "beat" the game on normal. It's tough so be prepared to use tactics, but it's also so fulfilling when you beat a level or the game. Legendary... is Legendary. It's an epic battle in which you face hoards of enemies of the highest level. You must use cunning and witt to defeat even the smallest of foes, and unless you are an absolute master at the game, play in a party of 2 or more. You unlock the achievements for Legendary, Heroic, and Normal when you play on this difficulty, and you also get an extended ending to the game. ~Strategies Here are some basic strategies for all players. (Via "MyCheats) Follow the Arbiter: On any level where the Arbiter is around, he will show you the way if you get lost. You can always find him thanks to the big blue arrow above his head. Don't be afraid to let him to some of the work if you need a hand. Reload: You'll often forget to reload -- especially for that off-hand weapon -- so reload anytime you have a free moment, even if you're down a few rounds in the clip; you never know when you need a full round. Different grenades for different situations: You have four types of grenades at your disposal: flame, [bleep]e, plasma and frag. [bleep]e and plasma grenades stick -- good against some enemies, but terrible when fighting the Flood. The point? You have options, so donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t just mash the right trigger, but choose the grenade based on the current situation. Teammates: Before Halo 3, you teammates weren't known as the smartest of the bunch. The allied A.I. in Halo 3, however, is quite good. Keep them alive and give them the most powerful weaponry you can, preferably a weapon that has a few shots left. Why? Because your teammates never run out of ammo. Don't always dual-wield: Dual-wielding has its ups and downs. Yes, you put out twice as much fire, but you can't throw grenades or melee unless you drop one of the weapons. Sneaky melee: Hitting enemies from behind is an instant kill. Moreover, it won't alert the others to your presence. Fire in bursts: Sure, you can unload a fully automatic gun in matter of seconds, but that doesn't mean that you should. Unless the enemy is right in front of you, fire your weapon in bursts. This will make your shots more accurate, as well as conserve ammo. Choose your equipment: Some equipment is better than others. A bubble shield, for instance, will often be of far more use than a flare. Think about what you might encounter next, and if an opportunity comes up, make the decision wisely. ~Achievements Ahhh, there's nothing better than hearing that sound of an achievement unlocked while playing a game. Halo 3 has many achievements, and here is the full achievement list (Very long, so "Hidden"); [hide] Due to time issues I'm not going to change the format of these just yet, but I will explain the structior they are in. 18. Get an elite, it's too complicated to explain right now (1:30 A.M.) but the new "Falcon" technology is in the Elite, and is currently not coming out in the other versions of the 360.
  19. Not sure why the image size is so small... Well I was only getting around 20k tops, then I went on youtube and watched one of the really good guys play. I went back, and I did fairly well! :)
  20. Cool, I added you and look forward to playing you online :) Word of warning- I'm no pushover either.
  21. Hehe, don't start that again :P Now where could I find a saphire...?
