I agree with most people here. The Christmas Warble event was a great holiday event. I really liked that Jagex continued on last year's event. Meeting your old friends, such as your own snow imp, was something I really enjoyed. The fact that the event required some thinking was of course great as well. I really don't like it when it's too obvious what you should do. The Christmas event was also really in the full spirit of Christmas. It was fun and humorous, but still with a good point. All this made this year's Christmas event my favorite for this year.

A new skill. I really hope so. And it's awesome that Andrew and MMG is putting up this on the first page!

I'm doing quite nice progress: I have updated the blog now :). Tomorrow I will probably just have 3 more skills to level up to level 70: Firemaking, Farming and Summoning. This since my cooking goal will hopefully be completed today :mrgreen:

Yes. The dragon pickaxe is much better than a rune one and when you're going to mine that much you should get one. Good luck with the mining :)

I would say nature runes. You make a little less profit, but laws aren't worth it with all the extra work that comes with it. For example the balloon system isn't the best. And really, you should repair your pouches. They help a lot. Trust me, I have trained quite some rc, and they're a very big help. When they're not decayed.

If you really think you will have more free time, which I doubt, you should ask yourself what you want to do with that time. Perhaps you should read a bit about the high level content updates that have come this last year. You say that you're maxed combat. Then some of these updates could be really interesting to you. But I think that since you say that you got addicted before should be careful. If you feel that you might play too much you shouldn't start again. Real life is much more important than RS. But if you think that you can handle it and want to play again, test it out. RS is a great game.

This is a very nice little blog. It's funny and smart. And certainly it is impressing to see a F2P have such high skills! I really like to see that you like rc so much! Just like myself :P 64 RC is nicely done for a f2p, even though it could be higher. I wish you the best of luck with your goals! I'm sure we all will see much more of you. Just keep up the good progress you have done this far.

Yes. I agree as well. But if you really want to do it you can of course! And you will earn a lot from it. It is just that that killing darks and steels are probably more time efficient. But killing the KBD is awesome ;)

We have had loads of great updates this year. When I for around a year ago read that 2009 would be a year which Jagex would be focusing on updates of old content I thought that we would just get a few new things in the game this year. These new things I thought would be a couple of quests and a few new items. Not much more than so. Perhaps a few skills updates. By the discussions that were back then I could tell that I was not the only one who was a bit disappointed of this. And I should admit that I was also a little angry on Jagex because of this. Of course updating old content is important, but why focus on it for a whole year? It seemed stupid. Now, when I look back at this year I can happily say that I was very wrong. Jagex have done quite a lot of old content updates but they have also added a whole lot of new stuff to the game. All these new cool items for example. The dragon pickaxe is probably one of the most popular ones. I also think that this is the item that I will get the most use of that came during 2009. I have however not done the Chaos dwarf quest myself yet. What I have heard of it makes me look forward to doing it though, as with most of the quests that have been released this year. One of the new quests I did almost as soon as it had come out though. This was the Within the Light quest. I have always liked elves and the elf series is my personal favorite quest series in the game. They require a lot of thinking, which I love. You can't just rush on. And it has a deep and complicated storyline, which I also like very much. It connects history and present in a great way. You get to learn about elves and their land as well about the whole of Gielnor. It is awesome. Within the Light was an awesome continuation on this. The only small bad thing with it was that it was too short. And of course that it ends with such a cliffhanger. Most of the updates during this year have been good. Many of them have been really good. But if I have to choose my favorite it is the Rune Tek 5 update. It made me able to play in HD without lagg for the first time. :thumbsup: Thank you Jagex for an awesome year of updates. You have done an awesome job! :mrgreen:

99 Cooking won't take too long. Neither will 60 or more in all skills take much long time. I'm sure you can do it, and rather quickly as well! :) Good luck with your goals! This looks like it could become a blog that I will look back at every now and.
