Thanks everyone. I grow willows+ and curry+, actually. For herbs, I do grow a lot of toadflax (since I have lots of nests, both gathered and bought). I try to focus on kwuarm and higher though, for the farming xp.

Thanks Jorus! It's like I was telling Ard yesterday - farming is just something that happens, I don't focus on it. I do a little every day. I too was amazed at how steady it was. The difficulty is finding enough high level herb seeds. Right now, seeds are so highly "merchanted" that it's hard for a skiller to get any, even when I offer competitive prices. I am starting to run out! What I need is to try to buy a month's worth at a time. I gotta get vials and seconds so I can mix these ~2k herbs up and sell, so I can get more seeds. :) I think I am going to keep a logbook of herb/farming so I can track profits and losses. Oh, and that skirt belongs to some hot chick. ;)

2006 review can be found here. Looking Forward 1800 1800 will be almost trivial - only ten levels left, three of which are firemaking. I don't know what to do for some of the others, but that's ok. Time frame is end January. 1900 Again, almost trivial. My plans are 70 hunter, 70 construction, with the 99 being thieving. There are a few more levels to get (probably will pick up 92 farming and herb during this time), but that's not a big deal. Time frame is Feburary through end March. I think I can easily get 7m thieving xp in 60 days. 2000 I am going to assume no new skills. If we get new skills, and they're not combat based, I should be able to pick up 2000 very easily. I should be able to get 99 farming December 2007 just growing herbs and the trees I get from my kingdom. I expect I'll hit 99 with about 96 or 97 herblore. I want to push all of my lower non-combat skills to 80 in the long haul to 2000. I would also like to push agility, smithing, and range to 90 (hopefully getting 80 slayer in the process) and mining to 85. That's still only around 80 levels. If I make 2000 under 90 combat and without quitting, it'll be amazing. 2000 and above I'd be willing to bet there'a a new skill around by this time. If not, I don't think I can go much higher than 2050 without going to 90 combat - and that's straight 99 non-combat skills. I am thinking that I would like to be around 1950 by year end 2007.

SwampJedi - A Year in Review Life Changes 2006 was a great year for me. At the beginning of the year, I graduated college with a Master's degree (in five years, with a 3.95 GPA, which is a major accomplishment in itself) in Computer Science. My research and thesis were published in a major peer-reviewed conference, where they were widely praised. I accepted a job as a Software Engineer with the US government in May, and moved away from my family for the first time. This, of course, invloved renting a place, buying a whole apartment worth of furniture, and learning to deal with a lot more chores. I also had to find a new church - I was blessed to find a great new church home quickly and painlessly. My job is going well, and I even got a 4% performance bonus at the end of the year. I love living on my own and being self sufficient - and the friends I've made here are top notch. I'm out probably 3 nights a week with them, and all this food is starting to get expensive! 2007 promises to be an amazing year. Runescape At the start of the year, I put up a website with tools for my and my best friend's use. This website tracks my daily XP, and so I have some pretty concrete numbers for how I did this year. Of course, my numbers only start 28 January 06, but it's almost a year. It looks like I started off right at 1500 with around 35m xp in 2006, since I hit 1500 on 27 Dec 05. That means I gained 290 levels this year, and two combat levels. Two 99 skills, ten 90+, and eight more over 1m xp. End of Year totals: START: 1500 36,756,700 END: 1790 88,777,696 290 Levels Gained 52,020,996 XP Gained NOTE: My website graphs and stores these automatically, so it was no work to get them here. I'm a programmer, so I love to write code, and this was a fun project. I moved from a small-time skiller to one of the most well known mid-combat skillers in all of Runescape. At one time, I was the top ranked sub-90 skiller. This has fallen off since I'm still at 0xp hunter and low construction, but it's possible that I'll reclaim the title this year. I really don't care if I do or not. I purchased my first partyhat 05 March 06. I paid 71.9 million for it - about half of which was from a mask set that I had slowly put together through skilling profits. I didn't merchant it, nor do I now. 28 May 06 I added 11 million to go to a yellow. Sometime later I got a Santa for 18m and a green mask for 20m. I don't think I'll ever sell the yellow, but the other two might go so I can afford some more 99s. I thought that my account was stolen in May, when the tipit password database was compromised. My password was changed. However, when I recovered the account, my character was where I left him, with the 1m in inventory I had still intact and my bank pin not on reset mode. I have to conclude that no one took my account, but that perhaps the password database was corrupted or something. I had a slow month in October - three weeks without a level. I was thinking about quitting, but the time off did me good. My xp rate has actually climbed a bit since then. I had to go out of town for several weeks on business, and had pretty much nothing to do but play Runescape in the evenings. I did so, and got back into the swing of things. I've made quite a few buddies here at Tip.it, and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend here. I post a lot on rants, and can be quite harsh at times, though I try not to kick too hard. :) I'll post about 2007 goals on 1 Jan 07.
