Excuse me, but can you take a second and review what you're saying? That's like me rolling a dice 300 times, getting 100 3's, and then using this data to conclude the dice is rigged towards getting a 3. A simple few friends who claim to have gotten good drops on the first day is not conclusive evidence by any means, so stop being so foolish. I'm not sure, but that might be statistically significant r2.

The macroers are going to get rich whatever they macro, so that doesn't concern me.

Blue, I think if they were going to push levels over 99, they'd have waited on the achievement capes.

I think perhaps a better debate is how to counteract them. There's much more to discuss in the way of strategies.

Megakiller, most of the stats can be auto'd. In my opinion, asking which cape is the worst is like asking which Miss America contestant is the worst. :-s

The fact that nature prices haven't drastically increased tells me that pure essence wasn't that bad of an idea. Essence, evidently, was undervalued. I'm not saying that I like the change, just that it didn't "ruin" anything. Instead of making ~250k an hour running nature you now make ~200k. That's still better than any other skill.

There will come a point where there will be nothing else to do but raise combat. At that point, I'm sure I'll max it on out.

It's not the scammers that makes the community so awful, in my experience. The random acts of unkindness hurt us far worse. It's like we know that the bad guys like Saddam are (were) out there, but it's the guy who cuts you off on the freeway who has the most effect on your daily life.

I have to laugh at the ignorance here. If we're storing levels as "numbers" then the max would likely be 127 or 128 without massive rework. I also highly doubt changing it would mean a wipe unless Jagex has their data set up very poorly.

I tried to keep down on the grandiose language, but when I'm speaking from the heart I tend to sound like an orator.

Most, if not all, of that 20k comes from herbs.

Note that the insults part of the article is very small. I am focusing mainly on the attitude that you can do whatever you want in the game without it mattering.

Just for the record, I'm not the editor. :)

Wealth redistribution. I think it's a bad idea, but Jagex with a single stroke made it easier for low level players to make money. Think on that.
