  1. Sign me up. I love this idea! I was actually pondering this the other day exactly the same way you explained it haha.
  2. That'd be too weird and not really necessary. Chat is good as it is =)
  3. That actually makes sense. Good idea!
  4. Wow, this thread has lasted for a while =p. If you go see videos of the experts, you'll feel like a n00b compared to them. I feel like I can compete against them, but most likely will lose. They're crazy, I tell you. All my moves are almost perfectly polised, except for wavedashing, because I never felt the need for it. Just to look cool =p.
  5. Wow, never knew so little people played DDR! I have DDR Extreme; my bro sold the others for another game...dang him...anyways, I bought CF Metal Pad 2 weeks ago for $348.65, and have been playing it every day for 1 1/2 hours. I've been playing DDR for about 3 years on a plastic pad, and on the arcades, and I can beat any lvl 9 song on heavy and below, but can't withstand 3 lvl 9's in a row...never tried it, but i can do like 5 lvl 8's in a row. ON HEAVY. Light is good for a beginner, but i mean, you gotta go to standard eventually. It's usually about how familiar you are with the song, how fast you can move, coordination, and stepping techniques (it sounds dumb, but it's true). I weight about 250 lbs and can do this; if I can do this, so should you =p.
  6. There is no "evil". Evil is just the lack of good. It's how it is with life. Darkness is just the lack of light, cold is just the lack of heat. Also, it's true; animals don't have morals or values, they go by their "instincts". We're an advanced species, which live in an organized world with laws, ethics, morals, etc. Of course, if someone lived in the jungle for 40 years without any outside counsel, he wouldn't think killing or hitting someone just because they look threatening is evil. So by our values and our exposure to "rules" and "ethics", we know what is "wrong" and "right." We aren't like animals. We have structure. We can intelligently think on different platforms. That's why we do have "wrong" and "right." I doubt you'll raise a child telling them that "anything you do it ok," would you?
  7. Wait, I have never heard of [bleep]ing. I probably know what it is, I just dont know that it is called [bleep]ing. Can you explain what it is? First of all, just because you can do that doesn't mean you're good. of couse, my friends and I made up a game where we threw bomb ombs at each other and caught it. It was hot potato! My brother isn't that good at catching things in mid air or bomboms; he's good at mind tricks. [bleep]ing is like a meteor smash (which is like Samus' Down+A attack in mid air, or the same with ness, or C. Falcon), only [bleep]ing is where the opponent can't recover from it. I know that Marth can [bleep]e, because I [bleep]e a lot lol. Usually, from a meteor smash, you can recover from it if you do your third jump, but from a [bleep]e you can't.
  8. That's what faith is used for. If your pride is too much, religion isn't for you =). Besides, he lives in our hearts.
  9. If you trust her, no. But if she's unwilling to tell you something that is potentially dangerous, yes.
  10. Dude, every good player can do that. I have all trophies, have done all those things, and i don't use roy. I use marth. I would dominate you. Unless you're one of those Wavedash users and know how to use it well. And also have studied the game inside and out and can l-cancel like each time. Then you would be a good opponent =D
  11. Thanks its comforting to know that God has a reason for my friends tragic death in excruciating pain last year. Go God :D I know that was sarcasm, but, sarcasm aside, you just supported his statement very well. What's more comforting, to think that he suffered horribly for no reason at all, or to know that ultimately some good will come of it? Nicely put =D.
  12. Thanks its comforting to know that God has a reason for my friends tragic death in excruciating pain last year. Go God :D With that statement, that means you do believe in God. Maybe you don't, or maybe it's just to make fun of me, but whatever. God is in control of everything in this universe, but don't go around blaming all the bad things that happen on Him. He doesn't shape our lives; we do. Whatever we do, it's what we do. If we were controlled by God, we would be robots. Your friend died maybe because he was drunk or was impaired, or maybe it was from someone else. But, take that situation and make the best of it. It comes to show that life isn't perfect, and we shouldn't expect it to be. Your friend died for whatever reason, but see how fragile life is? In an instant, the people closest to you can be gone. Try to make the most of your life; don't waste it. Life is fragile, but precious. And, don't put the blame on anyone. Maybe it was God's intention for him to die, because everyone has their time and place of death. It was just his time...griping about it and having anamosity towards God won't make him come back, either.
  13. My thoughts exactly =D
  14. Aye, I hear all you guys. Jealousy is when someone has something and you don't, or have achieved something you haven't. But, it doesn't matter about their lives. Appreciate what you do have. Even if you aren't good at what they're good at, appreciate what you ARE good at. Even if other people are better than you, it doesn't make them a better person, does it? Someone that sucks at everything can be the nicest person in the world, compared to the person that is the best at everything and is the meanest, as well. People will look at others in High School with their scholar status and social status. Later on in adulthood, people look at your character and personality, not your skills.
  15. Dang...I watched that movie....was horrible...but i still wanna eat meat X[)
  16. You're sooo right. College is annoying, but since i put all 4 of my classes into 2 days, it's easier. And i do all my homework at the last minute, which lets me enjoy my weekend lol. But yeah, I've written 10 900+ words essays already. Pretty fun, actually.
  17. where did u get the job just playing runescape? I wanna do that! When I was in HS, I worked at Carl's Jr. for minimum wage for about half a year, and they gave me a .50 cent raise. Fun, but annoying.
  18. Very true. All of it. Once shame on you, twice shame on me. They should learn that their actions have consequences, and even if they're the nicest person in the world, I'd still be uneasy around them. But, in certain cases, the past can be put away. Sometimes, with age, people become wiser and their past is so miniscule, because maybe whatever they did happened like 30 years ago, and it doesn't seem as if they're of any threat at the present. But yeah, people shouldn't be judged by their past, only if the situation makes it matter.
  19. I only watch Bleach (best anime ever), Naruto (fillers are making me mad...), Samurai Champloo (was soooo funny! and entertaining), School Rumble (funny as heck; I almost died laughing), Prince of Tennis (haven't watched all of it yet...), Full Metal Alchemist (pretty cool), Gankutsuou (very enthralling), Inuyasha (hmm...haven't watched that in a while...), Cowboy Bebop (haven't watched much of that). I also like watching some Initial D.
  20. W00t! SSBM Fans out there! I use Marth. I've always liked him, right when I first saw him. He's awesome. I rarely lose when I use him. I can also Wavedash pretty well (not like the experts!).
  21. Man that game rocks!
  22. If you don't believe in God, or in religion at all, don't criticize it then. In your point of views, maybe all religion is wrong. But, can't you just keep your mouths shut? People use religion as a way to believe in someone higher than all man, someone that DOES rule the universe and IS watching over us. They believe in God, which is watching over us and takes care of us, even in the bad times. People use religion as a way to explain why things happen in their lives. It's extremely comforting.
