Ok I am going to post this becuse this has to do with the post I made the other day. I stumbled upon something I had to share . After watching a trailer for Microsofts new game "mass effect" One of the female characters says in a sympathetic tone about her people. "its illegal for parents to have more than one child" and "if our population grows too much it strains our resources to breaking point" you might not think this is important but if you knew that Bill and Melinda gates donated millions to a company called Planned Parenthood which are involved with the "one child" policy in China you would probably think twice. It now seems like microsoft are starting to put subliminal messages into these games to mentally condition the populous for when they phase it in into western countries, such has America. go to 1:06 to hear the comments http://www.gametrailers.com/player/24962.html

The CFR has let the cat out of the bag in praising China's one-child policy. It probley won't be long befor they have thier controlled global warming action group's start to lobby Congress to enact a One-child policy in America. Many member's of those groups have all ready called for a One-child Policy in America. They clame it will help fight global warming by reducing the population and carbon emissions. Back in August, China gave credit to it's one-child policy in doing just that. With all the hype, frenzy, and fear of global warming, one can see how easy it whould be for a one-child policy to be enacted in America. All they need to do is get anothe member's of Congress and the Senate to think that it whould be the ONLY way to save earth, and human kind, along with the President to sign it into law, or to overide a veto. Ya I know insane, just insane right? :boohoo: [hide]China says its one-child policy has helped the fight against global warming by avoiding 300 million births, the equivalent of the population of the United States. But delegates at U.N. climate change talks in Vienna said on Thursday birth control is unlikely to find favor as a major policy theme, partly because of opposition by the Catholic Church and some developing nations trying to increase their population. Some scientists say that birth control measures far less draconian than China's are wrongly overlooked in the fight against climate change, when the world population is projected to soar to about 9 billion by 2050 from 6.6 billion now. "Population is clearly an important factor," said Yvo de Boer, head of the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat, at U.N. talks trying to plan a new deal to combat climate change after 2012. China, which rejects criticism that it is doing too little to confront climate change, says that its population is now 1.3 billion against 1.6 billion if it had not imposed tough birth control measures in the late 1970s. The number of births avoided equals the entire population of the United States. Beijing says that fewer people means less demand for energy and lower emissions of heat-trapping gases from burning fossil fuels. "This is only an illustration of the actions we have taken," said Su Wei, a senior Foreign Ministry official heading China's delegation to the 158-nation talks from Aug 27-31. He told Reuters that Beijing was not arguing that its policy was a model for others to follow in a global drive to avert ever more chaotic weather patterns, droughts, floods, erosion and rising ocean levels. But avoiding 300 million births "means we averted 1.3 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide in 2005" based on average world per capital emissions of 4.2 tonnes, he said. http://infowars.com/articles/ps/china_o ... limate.htm [/hide]

Just keep in mine that the Rothschild's have weather control tech that they have been making since the end of World War 2, throw the U.S. Military, and other R & D project's and that they been reserching it since the 1920's. Iran, Mutually Assured Destruction, the Strangelove Scenario
cryztalwing replied to Necromagus's topic in Off-Topic
The CFR has said that oil will go up $200 per barrel. Guest who is the Honorary Chairman of the CFR? David Rockefeller.... [hide]Richard Haass the President of the Council on Foreign Relations and Bilderberg luminary was recently interviewed by Katie Couric on the situation with Iran. During the interview, Haass predicted that the crisis over Iran̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s nuclear program could come to a head within the next few months and that war with Iran would result in oil prices rising to $200 a barrel. Haass also made it clear that sanctions would not be effective in changing Iran̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s stance on their nuclear program and that there was a real possibility of a U.S. military strike on Iran using aircraft and cruise missiles. When Couric specifically asked Haass if he thought we would see a war with Iran, he responded. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅI don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t think we are talking about invasion, the U.S. doesn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have ground troops. There could be a military strike using aircraft and cruise missiles, but if you ask me over the next year or two years can I imagine the U.S. and Iran moving to conflict? The short answer is yes. Is it definite? Obviously not, but is it a real possibility; for sure.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâà -
So it seems that Rumsfeld has fled from France fearing arrest ,becuse human rights groups filed a criminal complaint against him. I wonder if he will really be arrested.. [hide]Former US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld fled France today fearing arrest over charges of "ordering and authorizing" torture of detainees at both the American-run Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq and the US military's detainment facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, unconfirmed reports coming from Paris suggest. US embassy officials whisked Rumsfeld away yesterday from a breakfast meeting in Paris organized by the Foreign Policy magazine after human rights groups filed a criminal complaint against the man who spearheaded President George W. Bush's "war on terror" for six years. Under international law, authorities in France are obliged to open an investigation when a complaint is made while the alleged torturer is on French soil. According to activists in France, who greeted Rumsfeld shouting "murderer" and "war criminal" at the breakfast meeting venue, US embassy officials remained tight-lipped about the former defense secretary's whereabouts citing "security reasons". Anti-torture protesters in France believe that the defense secretary fled over the open border to Germany, where a war crimes case against Rumsfeld was dismissed by a federal court. But activist point out that under the Schengen agreement that ended border checkpoints across a large part of the European Union, French law enforcement agents are allowed to cross the border into Germany in pursuit of a fleeing fugitive. "Rumsfeld must be feeling how Saddam Hussein felt when US forces were hunting him down," activist Tanguy Richard said. "He may never end up being hanged like his old friend, but he must learn that in the civilized world, war crime doesn't pay." International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) along with the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR), and the French League for Human Rights (LDH) filed the complaint on Thursday after learning that Rumsfeld was scheduled to visit Paris. http://wor.ldne.ws/node/8596[/hide]

Iran, Mutually Assured Destruction, the Strangelove Scenario
cryztalwing replied to Necromagus's topic in Off-Topic
Back in 2005 it was reported that Halliburton -- the oil services company once headed by Vice President Cheney -- sold an Iranian oil development company key components for a nuclear reactor, say Halliburton sources with intimate knowledge into both companies' business dealings. Halliburton was secretly working at the time with one of Iran 's top nuclear program officials on natural gas related projects and sold the components in April to the official's oil development company, the sources said. so, Cheney and Bush want war with Iran becuse of it's nucelar program, even thow Halliburton sold them components for a nuclear reactor. Than there's Rockefeller, who want's complet control over Iran's oil, so he be able keep it from being drilled, and rise oil price's even more. Up to $200-300 per barrow. Or even up to $1,000 per barrow...... #-o -

Canadians call for vote on SPP on a national referendum ? I wonder how many of them whould vote no on the North American Union. Glenn Beck on his radio show will talk to Jerome Corsi about this in the first hour of his show tomorrow, at 9 a.m. [hide]Canadians call for vote on SPP Activists demand national referendum on 'continental divide' Canadian activists are demanding Prime Minister Stephen Harper fulfill a promise and submit the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America to a national referendum for an up or down vote. "The Prime Minister of Canada and his cabinet in both Liberal and Conservative regimes support the unification of North America as witnessed by the fact of [former Prime Minister] Paul Martin and [current Prime Minister] Stephen Harper being signatories to the SPP process," said Connie Fogal, leader of the Canadian Action Party. Fogal rejects the idea that the vote on SPP should be taken solely in the Canadian Parliament. "A decision about the restructuring of Canada into an integrated North America is not a decision for parliament, but for the citizens of Canada," Fogal says. "What every Parliamentarian should do is call for a no confidence vote on this issue to cease unification of Canada, the USA and Mexico, and then run a campaign on the life of Canada not its death." Maude Barlow, the National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians, agrees. "So far, only 30 CEOs from North America's richest corporations, including Lockheed Martin, Bank of Nova Scotia, Chevron, Power Corporation and Merck, have had any meaningful input," a news release on Barlow's website proclaims. "Only they have been invited to annual closed-door meetings of SPP leaders and ministers, such as the one that took place in Montebello, Quebec, in August." As WND previously reported, the North American Competitiveness Council, or NACC, dominated the SPP closed-door meetings with the SPP trilateral working groups, the trilateral cabinet members in attendance and President Bush, Mexico's President Felipe Calderon, and Harper at the third annual SPP summit in Montebello, Quebec, on Aug. 20-21. WND has also reported the NACC is a shadowy council of 30 top North American multinational corporations self-appointed by the Chambers of Commerce in each of the three countries to constitute the sole outside advisory to the SPP. The 30 companies composing the NACC are listed on a memo posted on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce website. In the United States, the companies on the NACC are: Campbell Soup Company Chevron Corporation Ford Motor Corporation FedEx Corporation General Electric Company General Motors Corporation Kansas City Southern Lockheed Martin Corporation Merck & Co., Inc. Mittal Steel USA New York Life Insurance Company Procter & Gamble UPS Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Whirlpool Corporation No union leaders, public interest groups, environmental advocates or news media have ever attended the closed-door of the NACC with the SPP. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/artic ... E_ID=58143[/hide] [hide]WND reporter, columnist and best-selling author Jerome Corsi will be a guest tomorrow on the nationally syndicated Glenn Beck radio show. Corsi will join Beck live in the first hour of the show tomorrow, at 9 a.m. Eastern. Some local markets carry the program at a later time. Corsi will discuss his story on Canadian activists' demand to Prime Minister Stephen Harper to fulfill a promise to submit the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America to a national referendum for an up or down vote. Corsi is the author of the New York Times best-selling book, "The Late Great USA," which charges the federal government's unwillingness to enforce immigration laws and border security is, at least in part, a result of plans to promote political, social and economic integration of the U.S., Mexico and Canada. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/artic ... the Veterans Disarmament Act and the G.A.P. Act two major gun control law's that are comming up for a vote soon. The G.A.P. Act still need's to go throw the House, whill the Veterans Disarmament Act just need's to be pass the Senate. News about the Veterans Disarmament Act [hide]You'd think that when rabid, anti-gun legislators like Sen. Charles Schumer and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy join together to pass anti-gun legislation, it would raise a few red flags. But these two New York Democrats are currently planning to roll over gun owners with H.R. 2640 -- legislation which would bar you from owning guns if: * You are a battle-scarred veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; or * As a kid, you were diagnosed with ADHD. Not to mention the fact that your ailing grandfather could have his entire gun collection seized, based only on a diagnosis of Alzheimer's (and there goes the family inheritance). Gun owners have been desperately fighting this bill for several months. You will remember that it passed in the House with an unrecorded voice vote in June and was later passed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee -- also without a recorded vote. Sen. Schumer is pushing hard to pass this legislation -- dubbed the Veterans Disarmament Act -- so he is circulating an "agreement" which would waive the Senate rules in order to bring up and pass the bill. This agreement is extremely diabolical, as it would eliminate the ability of pro-gun senators to offer amendments which would clean up the legislation... and would grease the skids for immediate passage! But there is good news: In order for Schumer's "agreement" to prevail, he must get "unanimous consent." This means that just ONE single senator can block it. http://www.gunowners.org/a091207.htm[/hide] News about the G.A.P Act.. [hide]With every passing year, the American people see more and more legislation that would place further limitations on our right to "keep and bear arms." Among other pieces of legislation that have been introduced in the 110th Congress thus far, the Gang Abatement and Prevention Act is of notable concern. This bill (S. 456), introduced by Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA), and its companion bill (H.R. 1582), introduced by Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), would further federalize the police system by creating a number of federal criminal offenses, including offenses categorized as "gang crimes." The bill would also authorize over $1 billion to create or expand federal programs. Though violent crimes are an issue in many states, especially in states with a larger population, they have traditionally been dealt with on a local and/or state level. The federal government should not usurp local authority by placing a new host of crimes under federal jurisdiction. Aside from federalizing our police system, the Gang Abatement Act would also pose a threat to the Constitution, and more directly, the Second Amendment. For instance, Section 215 of S. 456 would deny the right of gun ownership to two categories of people: Any person convicted in any court of a misdemeanor "gang related offense" Any person found to be in contempt of a "gang injunction order" Firstly, the bill does not clearly define what forms of a misdemeanor would prohibit a person from being denied their right to own and operate a firearm. Even in trivial matters, the Gang Abatement Act could deny an unknown number of people their gun ownership rights for the duration of their life. Secondly, a gang injunction order prohibits known gang members in specific geographic areas from participating in otherwise lawful activities. These activities could include congregating, wearing a gang insignia, or possessing alcohol. The effectiveness of gang injunctions are inconclusive and are a divided issue at the Supreme Court level. The Supreme Court has already set a precedent that such injunctions arbitrarily violate personal liberty and threaten the First Amendment. Merely violating an injunction without even committing an actual crime should not strip one of his/her right to carry firearms. http://capwiz.com/jbs/issues/alert/?alertid=10350646[/hide] You can go to Gun Owners of America action center to send a message to your senator's to vote no on the the Veterans Disarmament Act. http://www.gunowners.org/activism.htm You can go here to let Congress know that you want them to vote on the G.A.P. Act. http://capwiz.com/jbs/issues/alert/?alertid=10350646

The Senate may vote at any time to ratify the decades-old United Nations Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST). [hide]It seems as though warnings about the ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) have become somewhat of a case of "the boy who cried wolf." The treaty was rejected in 1982 under President Ronald Reagan because it did not "satisfy the objectives sought by the United States." The treaty has been a lingering threat in the Senate since it was rejected 25 years ago. If ratified, LOST would pose a huge threat to the security and economy of the United States. Briefly, LOST would transfer maritime jurisdiction to the UN's International Seabed Authority (ISA), and establish international laws to govern areas that are currently protected by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. Furthermore, LOST would also give the ISA the power regulate ocean research and exploration as well as impose quotas for deep-sea mining and oil production. Since 70 percent of Earth's resources are covered by the oceans and other water-ways, relinquishing such control could result in the loss of control over vital undersea resources that have not yet even been discovered. The Law of the Sea Treaty runs to over 200 pages. Within the LOST text are several problematic mandates that would damage the sovereignty of the United States. One mandate includes the continuation of the ISA, which is headquartered in Jamaica. But another lesser-known mandate involves an environmental agenda which could lead to ratifying the highly criticized Kyoto Protocol by default. Article 213 of LOST requires states to adopt "laws and regulations̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæto prevent, reduce and control pollution of the marine environment from land-based sources." The Senate Committee on Foreign Relations held a hearing on LOST on October 4. The prepared testimony given by the several witnesses is evidence of the fact that LOST is a real threat, and could be ratified at any time by the Senate. Even statements made by the treaty's supporters are interesting. Consider: Opponents seem to think that if the U.S. declines to ratify the Law of the Sea, the United States can avoid any multi-lateral responsibilities or entanglements related to the oceans...the Law of the Sea will continue to form the basis of maritime law regardless of whether the U.S. is a party. Consequently, the United States cannot insulate itself from the Convention merely by declining to ratify. --Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) In other words, Senator Lugar is arguing that LOST will determine maritime law if the United States refuses to ratify the treaty. This begs the obvious question: if that were the case, why would the Senate have to vote to ratify it at all? Here is another statement of support for LOST: The Law of the Sea Convention supports our ability to operate wherever, whenever, and however needed under the authority of widely accepted law. --Admiral Vern Clark, USN (Ret.) Former Chief of Naval Operations Notice that Admiral Clark affirms that the United States would be subject to the authority of a "widely accepted law." The law he is referring to is not U.S. law, but the governing body of LOST, the International Seabed Authority. It is this broad acceptance of international law that could trap the U.S. into being forced to accept other agendas such as the aforementioned Kyoto Protocol. The same day the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee conducted their hearing on LOST, the Oregon Republican Party adopted a resolution to oppose the treaty. Readers who oppose this treaty can contact their Senators and urge them to reject LOST when it comes up for ratification by clicking here. The United States must maintain control over our territorial waters in order to protect us against foreign threats, as well as for the exploration of off-shore resources (both known and unknown) that may boost our economy and energy needs http://www.jbs.org/node/5949 [/hide] Remember you can send a message to your Senator's to tell them to Oppose the Law of the Sea Treaty! http://capwiz.com/jbs/issues/alert/?alertid=9848421

It does. [hide]Hundreds of thousands of veterans -- from Vietnam through Operation Iraqi Freedom -- are at risk of being banned from buying firearms if legislation that is pending in Congress gets enacted. How? The Veterans Disarmament Act -- which has already passed the House -- would place any veteran who has ever been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) on the federal gun ban list. This is exactly what President Bill Clinton did over seven years ago when his administration illegitimately added some 83,000 veterans into the National Criminal Information System (NICS system) -- prohibiting them from purchasing firearms, simply because of afflictions like PTSD. The proposed ban is actually broader. Anyone who is diagnosed as being a tiny danger to himself or others would have his gun rights taken away ... forever. It is section 102(B)(1)©(iv) in HR 2640 that provides for dumping raw medical records into the system. Those names -- like the 83,000 records mentioned above -- will then, by law, serve as the basis for gun banning. No wonder the Military Order of the Purple Heart is opposed to this legislation. The House bill, HR 2640, is being sponsored by one of the most flaming anti-Second Amendment Representatives in Congress: Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY). Another liberal anti-gunner, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), is sponsoring the bill in the Senate. Proponents of the bill say that helpful amendments have been made so that any veteran who gets his name on the NICS list can seek an expungement. http://www.newswithviews.com/Pratt/larry81.htm [/hide]

(NASCO) and the department's plans to build the 31 Trans-Texas Corridor, Congressman Poe was told that the NAFTA agreement super- 32 highway corridor plans exist to move goods from Mexico through the United States to Canada; and WHEREAS, American citizens and state and local governments throughout the United States would be negatively impacted by the SPP process. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the First Regular Session of the Fifty-ninth Idaho Legislature, the House of Representatives and the Senate concurring therein, that we emphatically urge and petition the Congress of the United States and particularly the congressional delegation representing the state of Idaho to use all efforts, energies and diligence to withdraw the United States from any further participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America or any other bilateral or multilateral activity that seeks to advance, authorize, fund or in any way promote the creation of any structure to create any form of North American Union. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that House Concurrent Resolution 40 of the First 46 Session of the 110th Congress addresses the concern herein expressed by the state of Idaho. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we are asking our congressional delegation, our U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Mary E. Peters and President Bush to reject appropriated federal fuel tax dollars for such SPP or NAFTA when there is such a need for fuel tax dollars to be dedicated to the needs of the states in the U.S. in order to maintain our highway system. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Memorial to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Congress, and the congressional delegation representing the State of Idaho in the Congress of the United States STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 17145 The purpose of this legislation is to send the message to the Congress of the United States, and particularly the congressional delegation representing the State of Idaho that the First Regular Session of the Fifty-ninth Idaho Legislature, the Senate and the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the Congress of the United States, and particularly the congressional delegation representing the State of Idaho, are hereby urged and petitioned to use all of their efforts to withdraw the United States from any further participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and any other bilateral or multilateral activity which seeks to advance, authorize, fund or in any way promote the creation of any structure to accomplish any form of North American Union. Still don't think it's real? Vicente Fox confirmed the existence of a government plan to create the amero as a new regional currency to replace the U.S. dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Mexican Peso. [hide]In an interview last night on CNN's "Larry King Live," the former president of Mexico, Vicente Fox, confirmed the existence of a government plan to create the amero as a new regional currency to replace the U.S. dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Mexican Peso. It possibly was the first time a leader of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. openly confirmed a plan to create a regional currency. Fox explained the current regional trade agreement is intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of integration. According to a transcript published by CNN, King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a question e-mailed from a listener, a Ms. Gonzalez from Elizabeth, N.J.: "Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?" Fox answered in the affirmative, admitting he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ and that part of the plan was to institute a regional currency from Canada to the tip of South America. "Long term, very long term," he said. "What we proposed together, President Bush and myself, it's ALCA, which is a trade union for all the Americas." ALCA is the acronym for the Area de Libre Comercio de las AmÃÆÃâÃâéricas, the name of the FTAA in Spanish. Fox noted the FTAA plan had been thwarted by Hugo Chavez, the radical socialist president of Venezuela. "Everything was running fluently until Hugo Chavez came," Fox commented. "He decided to combat the idea and destroy the idea." King, evidently startled by Fox's revelation of the currency, asked pointedly, "It's going to be like the euro dollar, you mean?" "Well, that would be long, long term," Fox repeated. Fox then explained that he and Bush intended to proceed incrementally, establishing FTAA as an economic agreement first and waiting to create an amero-type currency later ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ a plan Fox also suggested was in place for NAFTA itself. "I think the process to go, first step is trading agreement," Fox said. "And then further on, a new vision, like we are trying to do with NAFTA." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/artic ... Than let Congress know that you don't want them taxing the Internet..Here is a good message you can send for using the Gun Owners of America action Center... [hide]Dear [Lawmaker]: Since 1998, national lawmakers in Washington, D.C., have successfully protected American consumers' Internet access from being burdened by multiple state and local taxes. The bad news for consumers is that current laws that keep our Internet access tax-free will expire on November 1, 2007. Legislation is currently being debated in both houses of Congress to keep taxes off Internet access, for good. The 'Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act of 2007' ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ H.R.743 and S.156 ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ is overwhelmingly bi-partisan legislation, originally renewed in 2001 and again in 2004, that would permanently prevent Internet access taxes, as well as preventing multiple and discriminatory taxes on electronic commerce. Only a limited number of legislative days now remain in the current session of Congress for making the prohibition of Internet access taxation permanent. Wireless, and also the Internet, are two of the most incredible and ever-evolving resources at the fingertips of the American consumer today. Wireless is increasingly becoming Americans' "service of choice," and consumers today depend on it for staying connected, but also for mobile Internet content, email, music, gaming, video and more. Passage of the ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâPermanent Internet Tax Freedom Act of 2007̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ by Congress is the much-needed first step towards permanently extending the existing moratorium on Internet taxation, once and for all. This is overwhelmingly pro-consumer legislation that will keep the Internet both accessible and affordable, right in the hands of the American wireless consumer. You can support the American wireless and Internet consumer, and protect and encourage the continued growth of these amazing resources today. I strongly encourage you to continue to protect American consumers, and work to achieve the bi-partisan goal of ensuring affordable Internet access to all Americans. More than 243 million American wireless consumers today, many of whom now access mobile Internet content on-the-go, are increasingly saddled with an already unfair tax burden by their state and local governments. Passage of the 'Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act of 2007' would prevent further taxes that limit consumer choice, delay innovation, and often require consumers to pay more for service. I appreciate your support, and I thank you for your leadership on this critical issue in the 110th Congress.[/hide]

You could have to start paying taxes to use the Internet soon. The existing internet tax moratorium is to end in November, but S. 156/H.R. 743 could make it permanent. Here is a way to for you to let Congress know that you don't want to pay taxes for using the Internet and tell them to make the tax moratorium permanent. http://www.capwiz.com/freedomworks/issu ... d=10266881 You can also use the Gun Owners of America action center to send a message, thow you do have to write out your own message there. http://www.gunowners.org/activism.htm

Some info about the other Republican's runing for President in 2008... :boohoo: Virginia Algar (Florida) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Virginia Algar, a substitute teacher and veteran of the first Gulf War, is running for President for "for all the people not just a chosen few or interest groups." Since moving to Florida in 1979, she's lost three races for DeSoto County Sheriff and two races for DeSoto County Commissioner. Now she is setting her sites on being President because America needs "to elect the best and forget the rest." Her platform is rather sparse, in that it consists merely of a short list of slogans. Here it is in its entirety: "VETERANS!! IRAQ!!!! SOCIAL SECURITY!! UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE!!! GLOBAL WARMING!! COAL USAGE! FUEL EFFICIENCY! PUTTING A CAP ON CARBON! TAXES! FRIVOLOUS GOVERNMENT SPENDING!!!!" Website Her website. http://www.algarforpresident.com/ Michael Jesus Archangel (Michigan) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. This gadfly candidate -- who also uses the name "Saint Michael Jesus the Archangel" (note: formerly named Philip Silva until he legally adopted the Archangel moniker in 1996) -- appears rather delusional. "From the time I was a little boy I knew I was God and Michael the Archangel, but I didn't dare tell anyone, not even anyone in my family because I knew that the devil, Satan, was going to try to murder Me, and indeed he did try, four separate times," he explains. He says he's a Vietnam War veteran who attempted suicide due to depression and paranoia. He also claims he later became a "a volunteer Secret Agent for the Central Intelligence Agency without pay." A former janitor, he is a self-employed "writer" these days. As for politics, he describes himself as a "radical conservative Republican" who recognizes "the fact that America is an official Theocracy." Archangel was arrested on attempted murder and other felony charges in March 2006. "As a matter of fact, he is crazy. Anyone in their right mind can see that," said the Sheriff who arrested him His website http://www.archangelmichael.info/ George B. Bailey Jr. (New Mexico) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. George Bailey is an ordained minister, retired classroom teacher and USAF veteran. He was also briefly a candidate for New Mexico Governor in 2006, but withdrew before the primary. On his website, he describes himself as follows: "First, I am an American. Second, I am a practicing Christian. Third, I am a veteran. Fourth, I am a Cu[cabbage]e, Ebony, Negro, Black, and African American, who proudly embraces my ancestral heritage. Fifth, I am a former independent Democrat, and presently, I am an independent Republican. And sixth, I am my own man, free from any commitments to special interest groups who are paralyzed morally, and who hinder social-economic equity to all Americans in thought, word, and deeds." He has authored a campaign book and says he is "dedicated to God, Family, and Country." His website http://drgeorgebaileyforpresident.com/ Edward A. Buck (Utah) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Edward Buck describes his campaign as the "Common Man Presidential Campaign." He says "the greatest threat to America is not terrorists, but rather the theft of the civil rights of each American by corrupt and illegal activities of politicians and judges." What, you may ask, is this all about? Buck explains he is upset that judges and government officials purportedly "condoned and participated in the theft" of an invention he tried to patent (to wit: "the first true bitless bridle for horses"). Buck has also filed pro se lawsuits against government officials to enforce immigration laws and against the media for assorted civil rights violations. An Army veteran, Buck describes himself as an "Equine physiologist" and hopes to one day have a horse that wins the Triple Crown. His website http://commonman.info/ Allen M. Bunch (Georgia) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Allen Bunch (as he spelled his name on the FEC paperwork) also oddly refers to himself as "Alan" and "Alen" on his campaign website, so even this candidate's true name is a bit of a mystery. Bush is a self-described Reagan Republican who describes his campaign theme as "Fortress America." He promised to immediately send 10,000 military troops to patrol the US-Mexico border, but also supports a Guest Worker Program for the US. Bunch wants to replace the income tax with the "Fair Tax" (national federal sales tax). He also wants the US to focus on developing alternative energy sources, promises to break up business monopolies, denounces "Judicial Terrorists" (i.e., federal judges), and supports the war on "Islam-o-fascists." Bunch is a high school graduate who works as an insurance agent, but rather fuzzy on details of his family, life and career. "I am sorry to be vague in this document, but there might be members of the alien criminal element that might want to do me harm and until I qualify as a presidential candidate; I am not entitled to get Secret Service," he explains on his website. Maybe that is why he keeps changing the spelling of his first name His Website http://www.taxesbad.org/ Dr. Hugh Cort III (Alabama) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Hugh Cort -- a psychiatrist, fundamentalist Christian, and 2006 GOP primary candidate for Alabama State Representative (last place - 6%) -- touts himself as someone who has "spent years researching terrorism sources." His main campaign issue centers around the war on terrorism. On other issues, he supports constitutional amendments to ban abortion and ban gay marriage, describes himself as "pro-business" and is against higher federal taxes his website http://www.hughcort2008.com/ Susan G. Ducey (Kansas) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Susan Ducey is a registered nurse and volunteer sign language interpreter. She ran for President in the 1996 New Hampshire GOP primary (12th place - 152 votes) and briefly made an abortive run for Congress in 2000 in Oklahoma. She describes herself as "a staunch conservative ... for strong national defense ... [and] is Pro-Life." Here, for example, is her stance on families: "Our tax structure and welfare system discourages the stable, married, two parent family by excessively taxing families with children and by forcing the father out of the house to give a single mom welfare benefits based on the number of children. Welfare reform and the forced responsibility of caring for ones own family will increase the importance of the family, and eliminate much of the welfare payments." In a related position, she supports total abolition of the federal income tax her website http://www.duceyforpresident.com/ Daniel "Dan" Gilbert (North Carolina) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Electronics manufacturer and Vietnam War veteran Dan Gilbert is running for President as a self-styled "ordinary American" who still "believes America is the greatest country on earth." Politically, he describes himself as a "values-based conservative Republican" who espouses a social and fiscal conservative platform. Gilbert is trying to create a "We The People" Republican slate of "ordinary citizens to run for office" at all levels to bring about real change in Washington. Speaking of Congress, Gilbert complains that he is "not sure there are many real conservatives left in Washington." As for issues, Gilbert says "through the past 50 years we have witnessed the gradual erosion of our heritage. Our republic, carefully crafted by our forefathers to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority, has been abused. Those safeguards are now being used to subject the majority to the tyranny of vocal minorities" -- referring to illegal immigrants, gays, liberals, etc. Gilbert's top concern is illegal immigration, and he vows to "lock down the southern border and tighten controls on the northern border." He also wants to keep US forces in Iraq until the new Iraqi government is "ready to protect themselves from both internal and external threats," partially privatize Social Security, and fire "government employees who abuse the public trust by wasting or stealing taxpayer̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s money." His website https://www.wethepeopleforpresident.com/ Ray F. Green (Massachusetts) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Except that Ray Green has filed paperwork with the FEC -- and had previously filed as a Presidential candidate in 1996 -- no other info is known about this 2008 GOP hopeful Robert E. "Bob" Haines (New Hampshire) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Bob Haines -- a former "adopted Texan" who campaigns in a cowboy hat -- previously ran for President in 1992, 1996 and 2004. He also sought other offices in Colorado and elsewhere in years past. In the mid-1990s, Haines moved to DC and began writing a political newsletter. He believes most voters remembered he was the man on the sidewalk in front of the White House who tackled the gunman (Francisco Duran) who tried to kill President Clinton by firing shots at the building and at Secret Service agents in 1994. Haines himself later spent time in jail for a felony charge related to his pulling a gun on a man while campaigning for the 1996 NH primary (and again in 2003-04 for violating his probation from the '96 case). Haines maintained he was defending himself after one man choked him and another threatened him outside a bar. As for his views, Haines describes himself as "a fiscal and social conservative" who "advocates longer sentences for drugs and violent crimes and advocates fighting drugs and terrorists at their sources in Columbia and Afghanistan ... [and] advocated that the war in Afghanistan should have been originally been aggressive pursued into Pakistant get Bin Laden and his army with the help of Pakistan's army." Haines -- who said he's campaigned in 36 states in recent years -- refuses to accept he is still unknown to most voters. As in 2004, Haines has established residency in the state just so he could campaign more effectively there. In 2004, he finished tenth in NH with 579 votes. Haines hopes to improve his showing in 2008. No website yet Curtis Hayward (Texas) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Except that Curtis Hayward has filed paperwork with the FEC, no other info is known about this 2008 GOP hopeful. His official campaign organization is named "Hayward for President Aides Cenocide Dismantling Research Association President." No, "Cenocide" isn't a typo, as he spells it that way on a few documents Mildred T. "Millie" Howard (Ohio) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Millie Howard previously ran for President in the 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 primaries. She is back making a fifth bid in 2006. In fact, her rather durable slogan of "Millie Howard for President USA 1992 and Beyond" is easily adaptable to as many more runs as Howard desires to make. A medical office receptionist who will be 70-years-old in 2008, she earned her B.S. degree in Finance in 2003 from Northern Kentucky University. Arguing that politics in America is "corrupt" and our current system is "socialistic," Howard called for smaller government. In a very libertarian vein, she also demanded the elimination of any laws that codify immorality (which Howard defines as "abortion, bankruptcy, divorce"). "Government needs to be moral and the rest will fall in place," Howard explains. Her central theme is creation of a "$10,000 Birth Right Stipend" program to eliminate all current entitlement programs. She also advocates adoption of eight new constitutional amendments, including declaring that life begins at conception, abolishing the death penalty, and eliminating automatic US citizenship for US-born children of immigrants unless at least one parent is a US citizen. In the 2004 New Hampshire primary, Howard placed 13th with 239 votes Her website http://www.milliehoward.com/ Jerry R. Johnson (Virginia) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Jerry Johnson retired as a construction contractor in 2005, and is now making a run for President. A long-time GOP activist, Johnson made runs in Georgia years ago for State Representative and US Senate. Johnson explains his campaign as being based upon a "political/governmental structure that is true to the people and our society. God finally revealed it to me and I present it to you as Amendment 28: a method and a solution." Johnson's proposed Constitutional 28th Amendment would repeal the 17th Amendment (direct election of US Senators), reduce each state to having only one US Senator (appointed by the state legislature) and have federal judges serve three year terms (subject to Presidential reappointment and Senate reconfirmation) His website http://amendment28.tripod.com/ Walter D. "Donnie" Kennedy (Georgia) STATUS: EXPLORATORY CANDIDATE. Donnie Kennedy is a longtime activist in the "Southern Heritage" movement (i.e., seeking to keep the Confederate battle flag flying in the South and incorporated within the design of Southern state flags, opposing the MLK Holiday, etc.). Kennedy is also the former Commander of the Louisiana Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. A retired nurse anaesthetist by profession, Kennedy is the co-author several books including The South Was Right!, Myths of American Slavery, and Was Jefferson Davis Right? He also serves on the Board of Directors of the League of the South. Kennedy was briefly a candidate for President in 2004, but quit the race before the primaries started. Kennedy says his candidacy might cause Southern Republican elected officials to "remember the issues of conservative, Christian Southerners of all races who elected them over their liberal anti-South opponents ... [and] help guarantee [Confederate] flag votes by the people in Georgia and South Carolina." He believes the conservative movement largely suffered from 100 years of defeats over the past century at the hands of "the liberal/socialist regime" and says "we must have real States Right̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s or that little bit of liberty upon which we now barely subsist, that too shall be taken from us." Kennedy was a featured speaker at the 2006 Texas Constitution Party convention. His website http://electwdkennedy.com/2007/sept/upd ... ssID=58425 Mark I. Klein (California) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Dr. Mark Klein, a psychiatrist who bills himself as "The National Shrink", filed FEC paperwork in 2006 to run for President. "I am so concerned about the heartless destruction of stable, affordable American middle class family life ... I believe that the first policy considerations of any Administration should be about the enhancement of family stability and the affordability of middle class life," says Klein. However, most of his specific stances relate to equalizing the rights of both parents in divorce and child custody cases. His website http://klein4change.in2006.us/page.php William R. Koenig (Virginia) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. A former commercial real estate broker, William Koenig changed careers in 1996 to begin publishing his own watch.org online international news site. Since then, he's co-authored two books on Israel and Middle East policy. Through his news site, he's become a credentialed White House reporter. Now, he's trying to apply this background to his Presidential campaign. "My reputation of addressing difficult issues and boldness in speaking out stands in stark contrast to those who watch one another and constantly modify their messages to pacify their critics ... I am a uniter rather than a divider, preferring reasoned unity over unreasonable division. I view partisan politics as disruptive, counterproductive and enormously costly to our nation ... I possess solid conservative credentials both socially and economically," he explained His website http://www.william2008.com/ Philip A. "John" Kok (California) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Evangelical pastor Philip "John" Kok (pronounced "Coke") -- also known as "JP" -- operates his own Mustard Seed Ministry. While his ministry website -- annoying loud in both embedded music and design (plus lots of very blurry photos) -- is full of content, his Presidential site is barren. It essentially consists of this one statement: "Bringing Back the Positive Spiritual Heritage of Our Country!" His website http://www.mustardseedfaith.org/KokForPresident.html Elvena E. Lloyd-Duffie (Texas) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Elvena. Lloyd-Duffie was a Democratic Presidential hopeful in 1996, and has now filed paperwork with the FEC to run in 2008 as a Republican. An accountant, here is how Lloyd-Duffie previously explained her interested in running for President: "'I am running for President because in 1989 I sensed a call from God almighty to be President. I absolutely know and understand the function of the entire world." With her background as an accountant and auditor, she boasts she could balance the federal budget "in three to four days." Her foreign policy: "We need to make ourselves so appealing that [other countries] will want to copy us, then we won't have to negotiate and argue over who's right and who's wrong." Social policy? "Welfare is a disgusting and disgraceful thing. Pity and compassion is stupidity without wisdom. Give their jobs to recipients and put the social workers on welfare. Everyone on welfare has lied to get on it," she explained. Yet, despite this view of welfare, she supports giving "free unlimited college tuition to anyone who wishes to pursue a higher education." No website yet. Yehanna Joan M.M. Malone (District of Columbia) STATUS: ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE. Joan Malone, a widow and mother of three children, was a write-in Democratic hopeful in 2000. She later amended her federal paperwork in 2001 to run as a Republican in 2004 as a Presidential candidate and "Representative for God." In her August 2002 withdrawal letter to the FEC, she wrote that she decided to attend college and earn a bachelor's degree in religious studies as a better way to "serve my God-Trinity, my Savior Jesus Christ, be more like him, and truly make a difference in this world ... Politicians have done nothing but steal from me." Again billing herself as "Representative for God," Malone filed FEC paperwork to make another GOP run in 2008. No website yet.
