  1. I've edited the post to have the video between Media brackets. Regarding the forum section, can a moderator move the post to the appropriate one?

  6. Ah yes, I see where I made my mistake... and I must blame Tip.it for it. The construction calculator states that a teak larder provides 750 experience rather than 720. I believe that is where the correction is required after all.
  7. Your construction guide says that the fastest way to level up construction is by building and demolishing oak larders. It should specify that after reaching level 43 building teak larders become a faster/cheaper way of training it. I just calculated the differences in price and experience earned. While teak larders provide 56.25% more experience than oak larders, the individual teak planks only cost 53.95% more than oak planks. It's therefore cheaper AND much quicker to train building teak larders. Hoping you find this correction useful, Krokomaster.
  8. There's a really good guide in the Archive of Wisdom, sorry I don't have the link but it's not very hard to find.
  9. Haven't played RuneScape in a long time, and I was wondering if Shilo Village still was the best spot for exp/hour. Also, if it is, what exactly do I have to do to get the most exp as fast as possible.
  10. All right I'll start chopping there, and if anybody has a better suggestion feel free to post it.
  11. Title says it all, I would like an answer ASAP.
  12. I completely disagree with that, RuneScape, unlike most other MMORPGS, is not solely combat-based, skilling is as, if not more, important. Yes, I do agree with the thread's creator, although I still want to see players' combat levels, I would vouch for seeing something like: Krokomaster (level - 101)(1529)
  13. I agree that something must be done about all the clanning and teaming, considering the tiny space we are given to fight. I disagree completely, prayer is a part of the combat level, and therefore is supposed to add to the strength of the bearer. Otherwise, someone with all combat skills lvl 80 and 80 prayer would be the same combat as someone with matching combat skills but lvl 1 prayer. Prayer must remain a part of PvP. I disagree also, this is simply to ensure everyone in the crater is a willing pker, and also makes it more interesting to players wishing to make a profit out of pking. I agree, I couldn't bring I believe it was a wizard hat, which added a bonus to my magic attack. There definitely are some tweaks there than need to be taken care of. But yes, overall I do agree Bounty Hunter needs several changes, but I have no doubt Jagex will rectify those fairly soon, especially after removing Wild PvP, they definitely need to do everything they can to please ex-PKers.
  14. I disagree completely, his rant is not about ownership of the particular dragon, it's about plain and simple game ethics and respecting your fellow players...
  15. Yeah, makes perfect sense. Maybe Jagex was also responsibly for 9/11.

    revenants

Revenants are made to replace pkers, going to lvl 55 wild for a scroll was very dangerous when the Wild was PVP, all Jagex tried to do was to make it equally dangerous with the removal of PKers. I'm not against toning them down for f2p, but as far as I'm concerned (I haven't met one myself), they are a good replacement for pkers, especially if you're running around naked in lvl 55 wild.
  17. I understand the comparison with his new updates and Communist Dictatorship, but I don't think what Andrew tried to do was get rid of merchants or pures, everything was related to RWT, which is clearly against the rules and is a serious threat to RuneScape. Merchants and pures were the casualties of this necessary fight, but I wouldn't go calling Andrew a communist. Preventing criminals from benefiting from breaking the law isn't communist, it's plain and simple intuitive. PKers perhaps didn't realize the effect of RWT in RuneScape since they did not gather resources as much as skillers do, but assuming most players in RuneScape train their skills rather than PK, these updates benefit the majority.
  18. Well, if you think about it, the "if u dont have a team, ur dead" applied fairly well to the old pking concept, I mean sure you can make a few rune full helms and a couple of quick amulets of glory pking runecrafters or green dragon slayers, but actual pking against other pkers mostly occurred between teams, and if you didn't have one, you weren't worth more than the items you carried. While I do agree that the whole point of this thread is quite... well... pointless, I do get annoyed at the people who rant and simply ask to have everything restored back to what it used to be, simply because that's not going to happen, and it also displays a level of ignorance towards Jagex's reasons behind their recent updates.
  19. The Baxtorian Falls is also where I've seen this happening, but unfortunately, in my experience it's from people who want the bones and good drops, not by accident :(
  20. I think Jagex should definitely improve the in-game window, look at all the black space on the sides when youre playing 1024x820 or whatever resolution that is. I mean, how hard can it be... especially when you've designed something as complex as RuneScape. A little button that brings a world panel, to allow you to switch world quickly, a little button that brings out a panel with quick hiscores, and a party program allowing a group of people to "privately" chat together. I use SwiftSwitch solely for these three reasons, not for anything else really. And I am sure many people are the same.
  21. Umm I'll say not A dragon, but THE dragon. But yes dragons make sense because the glow on the armor can make one think of the dragonbreath. :boohoo:
